    ❤ Love your videos; thank you very much for bringing upbeat, funny, relatable insights with humour and enthusiasm! ❤ I looked up denatured alcohol or methylated spirits, and it is banned here. But we have similar products. Also, In Eastern Canada, namely in Montréal, our humid continental climate comprises a mere four months of summer, usually warm and humid. On the other hand, 3 cold to frigid and humid seasons. Winters are generally long, too long, therefore, most of our succulents grow inside for the most part.
    They are susceptible to all types of diseases, even with a Dehumidifier, Grow Lamp system, Ventilation and love; they fall prey to many common and destructive diseases, pests and fungi.
    Namely Anthracnose, Dry Rot, Soft Rot, Root Rot, charcoal rot, etc. I wish we could clean, aerate the soil, disinfect it, and hope. Sadly, it is unimaginable here. Should we wait, any of these diseases would quickly progress through the hydrenchyma cell tissues, leading to certain death. (water-storing structure; usually roots and stem).
    It hurts to lose our valuable, precious and costly babies. 💮🌵 Thank you for your tips and tricks. Most are transferable :). Your 🦜budgie is adorable❤!

    🌹🌹🌹🌹!!!! Great You have mentioned Very important tips. Can I use 98.5% IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) instead of methylated spirit keeping same dilution?

      We only have 67% proof here in Australia and did not work. You can try a small section underneath to see if the plants gets burn.

    Love your videos ✨ i have a question i thought you know what the Answer is. Im eyeing on a "Neon Breakers" cuz i never actually grown it and its Expensive too ,
    QUESTION:
    Can a neon breakers be propagated by leaves or not??
    , I don't think I should risk it and pluck its leaves cuz its Already a Small plant & quite Rare in my area.

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  8 місяців тому +1

      I've never grown Neon breakers from leaf. Cuttings is the best way I find to propagate them. Also growing from flower stalks is another option.

    How to decide the best soil to use in different succulents? I see you use several varieties

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  5 місяців тому

      I don't really have one video to answer your question, because it all depends on the species of succulents and also the type of pot, pot size or where you plant them. The location is also a factor to consider which soil to use. You can get an idea from my different videos on different soil mix. Also, the video below might also help. Good luck!

    Hi Liz. I just want to thank you for all you do for succulent lovers like me. I was wondering if you can give me some of the names of my succulents. I can give you my number so I can send you pictures later on.

      Succulents vary in season and location where its grown and can be difficult to identify. Your best option is to look at photos from succulent sellers online.
