Your succulent collection is very impressive and colorful. I'm a subscriber from Lake Charles, LA. who has a small collection and would like to expand it this spring. It's currently Feb. 29, 2024, 52 degrees F at 11:01 A.M. and a little drizzly here too. Keep up the great collection. I'd like to visit one day. 🪴🌵

Ugh we're also having lots of rain here in Capetown South Africa..love watching your videos because our weather is so similar..but lucky us don't get frost..but yes..yesterday (Saturday) and today sun..maybe sun to partly cloudy until next weekend..holding thumbs..love watching you and hubby doing your stuff..learned alot.

continues rain really makes the garden messy and plants are rotting
so hard to clean up but because we love the plants and the garden, we need too
they will all recuperate once spring comes
at least only 2 months of winter in your location is almost over
right now, we are on summer here in Southern California , just hoping no three digits temperature
for the sake of the plants .. I enjoyed watching the 33:40 time ,,, plus your helper ( Matt ) made me laughed.

We had an extremely wet winter last year but now going into summer here in California. I lost a few plants to rot myself. Your husband is really funny!😂
Hi Cindy, he always make funny stuff. Sometimes I just find out when I edit my video I can’t stuff laughing myself either. Summer is also challenging for the succulent especially the hot weather then suddenly rain.

Sorry to see your plants with leaf rot. I live in central Florida, USA and we get daily rains and very high humidity every day during the summer. My succulent collection is very small. Some are covered, some I bring in the house when we get heavy rains and others get leaf rot. Even though your plants are suffering they still remain beautiful and lush. Love the use of the long tweezers to pick out leaves and rubbish.
Hi Carolyn, I think rain in summer with high humidity is worst than winter with lots of rain. I struggle to save my plant in that time. They just die easy and leaves drop in a sudden. I love my tweezers it’s a big help😊😁🥰
I also live in central Florida. I do the very same thing that you do,bring them in.
By the way,your succulents and cactus are gorgeous even with the rain.

We were watching one of your videos tonight and we would like to know what is the top dressing you use it's in the pot with the bluebird in it. Hi Peter and Debra, thank you guys for watching my videos. I’m happy to know that you like what I share in my channel. I got that stuff from a Chinese seller in a show and sale succulent events unfortunately that time they can’t tell me the name of that stuff.I gave them my phone number but they didn’t get back to me. But I look into Google search and it looks like a Duoyuan stone. You can find it thrue eBay.
Is there enough drainage in your gutters, or do they maybe need some more?
It was hard to tell from the video, just a thought.
They are coping very well overall Em with such consistent rain. Your garden is beautiful ❤️
Hi Christine, this gutter got only 2 hole at the end of the pipe. The structure is set up us a slanting position so the water will just run down where the hole is

How do you know only have leaf rot without checking plant?
You can tell by the look of the other leaves if it’s only one leaf and the others are healthy nothing to worry about.usually you can tell from the look of the whole plant if it’s stem rot or just leaf rot
