Live action Arlong is a gangster, he has the gold chain, the drip and the theme
Not only in the LA
1:56 genius little note. Like a corruption of the main show theme 😮
Oh yea it feels like the theme has been drowned or something, awesome
This track is so fire, really went all in on the sound design for Arlong and co
Arlong was basically Killmonger in this show.
Makes sense if you think of the history fishmen race goes through in the one piece world
@@_Amit_SunilYeah, I figured that was why they went with that depiction. But it works though. I actually thought Arlong was better here than in the anime imo.
@@OdaNobunaga15 He is not better in LA lol
@@changedcj007everyone can have their own opinion
Hes objectively not better though lol@@joalter3106
Ngl Arlong's entrance with this track was fire in the live action. The actor nailed his laugh too. Still can't get over his size tho.
His size made him menacing, what do you mean?
@@AdamRee-lx8uh What do you mean by "what do you mean?" I'm mad at how imb*cile this question is. Any complaints about his size is a valid criticism. He's almost 9 feet tall in the anime and obviously we got not even close to similar size in the live action. I'm a hardcore One Piece fan, we all understand that 1:1 is not always possible that's why I said it needs some getting used to. But you're delusional if you're gonna disagree with every criticism throwned at it just because it's good. Fcking clown. 🤡
@@AdamRee-lx8uhI think they are talking about how he is smaller in comparison to the anime. He is more Luffy’s height or a normal tall person’s height in the Live Action.
It was the right choice, such proportions would not work well in live action and require cgi, which would increase the budget and make the entire series worse because more money would go to the cgi and less to other things that make it such an amazing watch.
Dude literally everyone in the anime is impossibly tall. It would be practically impossible to make a live action based of that.
Fishmen dropping some sick beats
better than that flop hordy jones
The actor for Arlong mb wasn't as big as needed, but the voice. Damn that voice on top of this beat. I liked it.
Arlong's theme slaps hard!
This soundtrack has no business going this hard.
The moment I heard the song seemed familiar to me, and I think they were inspired by the Jaws soundtrack, and they also gave it their own style to fit Arlong's personality, simply beautiful
Now that you mention jaws, I can feel it in the pacing and pausing. Definitely 🦈
WE MAKIN IT OUTTA ARLONG PARK W THIS ONE 🗣️🔥💯💯💯
I was vibing when they drop this in the show
This music is sure heavy, a music that fits the dark atmosphere of this series.
The trumpets and cello on the trap, that’s so Arlong omfg
IKR 🔥🔥🫨
This song went hard asf
we making it out of lower fishman island w this one 🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏
i like every characters theme soundtrack, arlongs sounds like some trap/drill and he acts like gangster, the moment when they pull up to baratie is epic,i could imagine them in black suv rocking that theme :D
I have expected to see a small band of fishmen playing the theme using transponder snails as synthesizers while some of them did the instrumental part.
That beat is 💥💥.
This is giving me Prowler Miles vibes…..
……and I love it
one piece live action made me like anime and its has made a fat change in my life love this
Good sensaction...The Arlong Place is very cool...pooll and temple...more that music ....perfect....Sharks Park...Very Crazy
The Arlong Pirates always did have a sort of Shishi-gumi/very minor Pillar Men vibe. Maybe as well as pulling up in the live action sorta like Gotou in Parasyte
Arlong: “Oh I’m no fan of yours….AND FEEL FREE TO QUOTE ME!! YEAH!!!”
Nice song, i really love this song
Imagine if Enel is actually played by Eminem and his theme is just an instrumental of one of his songs though, that would be so sick
literally used shazam instantly when i heard this shit dropped so fyeeeeeeee 🔥🔥
WE KILLIN BELLMERE WITH THIS ONE!🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Whos still waiting for the season 2😅
Ghetto Arlong 🦈⚔
Lmao it was clear as day. They had a black dude playing him.
He did grow up in the Ghetto of fishman Island
Welcome to Arlong hood!
WE MAKING IT OUT OF FISHMAN ISLAND WITH THIS ONE🔥🔥🔥
Me and the crew going to be rocking this all the way to the Grand Line ⛵ the One Piece, is real.
If this aint making Fishmen an allegory for minorities, I font know what is
Gives me the same vibe as Killmonger's theme from Black Panther, it's so good
But wouldn't that be the case in the original? I mean, in the world of One Piece, anyone who is not noble is a minority.
I think it's a lot more direct than an allegory about "minorities in general". Arlong's casting and the things he hates people for hit close to the real world
Yeah it's a much more general allegory for racism in the original, but it seems to specifically be hitting on blacks in the live action.
People be like: "THiS ThEmE SoUnDS ToO BLaCkFAce"
Fishman Island Arc: "It's literally the American West Coast but underwater"
Arquan Theme still goes hard
most baller soundtrack ever 🔥
Love this ARLONG song its soooo goooddd
This gave me Killmonger from Black Panther vibes
when i heard this shit play when arlong mad his entrance in ep 6 i had to find this beat. so fire!
This was perfectt
Arlong Theme is awesome 👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
Kaizoku Ou ni Naru Otokota...🔥🔥🔥
we wuz mermen n sheeiiiit
Lol this got me
lmao you wrong for this
1:19 one piece animes trumpet sound no body got that reference
I love it
Fisher Tiger would be proud
Arlong proudly carrying on Fisher tiger's will, a true homie.
It's crazy jow much i haye arlong but how much i love this song🔥
Has a jaws vibe too bc hes a shark
terrific !!
I honestly quite enjoyed the music choice for Arlong and co. It oddly fit nicely. They did lean heavier on the whole, fishman minority slave thing, but the original one piece source material also has the fishman being overly persecuted. Granted human slaves are also seen, but disproportionately was fishmen for a long time. Was it heavier handed in live action, definitely. But I 100% feel they did justice to the manga/anime and look forward to more. Especially the music
I mean do you mean as of arlong in the manga? Cause later on they definitely lean HEAVILY into the slavery aspect later on
@@sap9255 no I know. I meant that it wasn’t AS heavy handed early on.
moment when luffy messing with arlong hood, arlong is the real gangsta in east blue.
arlong has a gangster vive
Dude. Arlong was lowkey black thug AF.
badass track
EAST BLUE SIIIDEEEE
Very God
Arlong Park should be a real place.
Yo 😭🙏🔥🔥🔥
Drip 🔥🔥🔥
Arlong Jackson
oh yeah!
"Grab the blicky, kill the momma and extort her daughter/We cooking cocaine in the ocean, Stove ignored the water!" - Arquan "Big Shark" Jackson.
Ei! 🔥🔥🔥
Anyone who didnt like this for arlong is a chump
Fishmen r officially blacc💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I imagine a black hachibi dancing knee left right with this!
This definitely Naruto 20th aniversary vibe!
🦈🥶🐟🌊
I usually find Trap music kinda cringe and just meh in general but I gotta admit this fit Arlong PERFECTLY
Why did every arlong scene have the 2700s sea shanties playing
You have no idea how far into the future One Piece has been setting place on.
Nice
ye yoyo Arlong in the ship
Ghetto Luffy
Ghetto Arlong maybe? This music sounds a little heavy and villainous...
Consider the name of the track and jazzy overtones towards the end, I'm guessing Sanji @@MurasameM
And so began the great Gangster Era
It's Arlong. A variation of this theme is later used in the theme "Welcome to Arlong Park". And to be honest, he actually kinda grew up in a ghetto. Thats what the Fishman District was.
WE MAKING IT OUT OF THE GRAY TERMINAL WITH THIS ONE🔥🔥🔥
why did they use trap music for the fishmen, what they tryna say🤔
if you watched fishman island and still didn't think that fishmen represents black people then there's just something wrong with ur brain
I mean, they were slaves at one point and grew up in the hood
@@prinzdenaxdo you see the problem with what u just said ☠

Makes sense to do given the future arcs expansion of the topic, makes sense why Arlong has followers, he has quite the uh gripping speech
I find it odd how the actor os Arlong is black and had him talk about slavery and have his theme be some hip hop track, literally when Nami enters the party and meets him again you hear cook out music.........
@@woozyz2769 I agree. It feels like they are trying to push something here. Like, I understand the similarities, but I DK. All in all, season one was great and I look forward to the next
@@woozyz2769wut
As a black guy, I don’t really think so. I can see why it looks that way, but I think it’s cool that they cast a black dude as a water-themed villain
