1963 was the first year for the 230 inch inline 6 , before that you got the 235 . '63 was the last year for the knee knocker cab design . If you ever try to get in or out of one , you will quickly find out what I mean , especially if you are over 6 feet tall .
No chrome on the truck as he shows the chrome piece uround the turn light and tail light you can put a block heater in the engine once you figure it out
LOL 20x Yeah thats right the 1963 came with no gas cap, and that is why there is no gas cap, because that;s where the SNOW goes in and in the winter you dont have to worry about fill up.
If you can get a running again that would be awesome she's got very little cancer on her but I would go take the whole truck apart. And go over her piece by piece. With the suspension parts, the brakes, the rear end. And if you can find a donor truck. That's been in a wreck but it's got a good engine and transmission preferably 73-79. Drop that 350 in it after you do a rebuild what's the transmission you might have to take the the motor mounts in the crossmember out of the 73 if you're going to do this. Take care of the cancer on the floorboards. Because she's been sitting for a while. And you have something totally totally awesome
LOVE THE 63 ! 👍✌
the 63 C10 is one of my favorite trucks as well
Fix that one up that trucks worth saving
You got lucky that's an automatic. Probably a powerglide
Having an automatic in those 60’s pickup is quite RARE regardless if 6 cylinder or v8’s
Cool truck . @409 was the ash tray , pulls out .
thanks for letting me know I just didn't want to damage the ashtray
