Science. I just found your channel, subscribed and I really like your videos. No backwards wearing flat brimmed hat f bomb spewing mechanics here. Just sound intelligent logic, straight forward design with easy to understand explanations. I appreciate videos that I can share with my sons and not be embarrassed by the language. Thank you.
Your longest video STILL wouldn't be enough! This is proof it takes twice as long to do it wrong ( meaning you're doing it right, because shit just fell into place perfectly!)👌👌
I also have that kit in my 92 Acura Integra D.A. I love it. It'z my everyday driver the clutch system is very doable big thanks to hush performance and it helped out a lot over the phone
I know this is old but a trick for welding thing sheet metal is to put a alluminum plate or bronze plate behind the sheet metal. It acts as a heat sync and will allow you to pool up your material and fill the holes a little easier ...
Always good content, I'm starting something similar, going from a b16 to a lsvtech but have to paint the engine bay in my garage, I never done this before but I know I can get it done.
Welding sheet metal holes is as when you use a copper backing the weld wire will not stick to the copper and the copper helps pull heat from the metal.
Was going to convert the SC4/B16B that's going in my ED9 to cable, but now may convert the car to hydro after watching this. What part number was the MC, and who made the bracket? Sounded like you said hasport, but it was not clear in the audio. EDIT: Hush Performance makes the bracket.
My question is what is the total time line for a quality job like this...for it to look and remain restomod factory freshish and what would something like this cost for street use?
Saw you yesterday at a rest stop between cali and Arizona with all the soldiers. I told my friend that you were the guy from hasport but then you disappeared.
@@gilbertsolis2140 I ended up opening the tranny and using 02-05 type s diff with ring gear and drilling a hole on the casing to insert the speed sensor. Good luck 👍
I've never understood people's obsession with stuffing a K24 in an EF chassis for street use. Think about this; the chassis is ridiculously light and with that much torque from the K24 down low, it will be a spin fest and nothing more. With the K20 the torque will still be difficult to manage, but not as bad at the K24. I would do a K20 swap and tune it so that all the power is at the top end so the car can actually take advantage of it after getting traction...K24 is overkill in this chassis for street use (track is another story).
Having driven and raced a SOHC D16 CRX, DOHC ZC CRX, B16 CRX, Supercharged B16 CRX, K20A2 CRX, K24A2 CRX, Supercharged K24 CRX, J32 CRX, and J35 CRX I am going to beg to differ. Even the Supercharged K24 CRX which had the most torque, it was fairly easy to control wheel spin with the throttle pedal. More so on drag slicks than street tires, which this car will have. On the street the K24s torque was particularly effective. The majority of the time when I needed full power I was already moving and spinning wasn't a problem. You can if you choose break the wheels easier with the K24, but with some practice it's not a problem.

Ambition Motor Performance Hush Performance is always very helpful. Robert is our dude.
Great video! You can add copper behind the holes in the fire wall and weld the hole shut without it sticking to the copper.
