(More) Bale Work | Couple Builds STRAW BALE House In The Desert

- So, here's our second straw bale wall section going up. Learned a couple of things from the first section, and think we have a better solution for the "short wall" problem we confirmed on the first one.
Again, there should be several opportunities to see this process play out, since we've got about 8 sections total to build up this way. We'll try to give a few different looks at it along the way.

Wow great job guys! Fun watching you folks this morning and loved the Pam Head Butt. Did that a lot when I was working under this shed. Looks like a great and thorough plan for making the strawbale walls just the right height. I am learning even more about straw bale watching this. Great video!

I've fed 1000's of half-bales..... first time I've seen a half-bale that way. Genius!
Yeah, hopefully I'll get better at cutting them, but it's doable. This is probably about as short as we can make them, but seems to be working out so far. Thanks, David!

Yep, making some decent time now on the subsequent sections. A few extra wrinkles on my first corner, but pretty much the same logic all around. Gotta get this knocked out so we can get a box beam on top and the extra short framed wall on the south side to create the slope for the trusses that are coming in a few weeks! 🤞 Thanks for watching!
