I don't think I have ever commented on a UA-cam video in my entire life but I have to say your channel is revolutionary for me. I've been making a different one of your meals almost every week and the way you prioritize efficiency and low cleanup while still preserving taste is golden. Genuinely, thank you.
I have to say it, not only do I love your channels for the helpful and usually really tasty and solid recipes, but also just for your personality. Your sense of humor is great and it really helps make you more relatable, especially when doing dumb shit like poking the noodles into the boiling water cause that’s definitely the same dumb shit that I do. Keep up the great content man, I’m definitely giving this recipe a try.
@@TheMealPrepManual Im sorry cooked chicken in the fridge for 5 days and then still eat it? Not only taste good but also safe? I thought chicken was max 2 days, beef 3 days. How can you eat cold chicken 5 days in the fridge still?
I made this for lunch this week and love it! That said, here are some tips/minor adjustments for anyone planning on making this: The carrots are amazing. I'd portion a little more of them: trust me, you'll thank me later. Second, I'd personally like a little more of the dressing. Next time I'll increase the portion to be about 1.5x the amount shown. Hope that helps someone else out.
Just made this and was delicious. I grilled the chicken as I don’t have an air fryer. One tip, break up the noodles before adding water. It’s much easier than trying to cut them up later.
Awesome, gonna try this next meal prep! With my job I'm on a different construction site every half hour, so have to eat in the car and can't reheat my lunches unfortunately so this is perfect! Would love to see more no-reheat recipes. Cheers again mate, keep up the great videos!
♥️ Okay. So Ive been cooking all day today 😂 Made fresh bread & tomato sauce to go with my authentic Italian meatballs & spaghetti. (That was dinner) I also prepped the brine for my carrots early this morning so it sat in fridge a few hours before prepping. I made a double batch of everything (2 adults & 3 older teens who workout & EAT in my house) I just finished putting all the containers in the fridge & final clean up! 😊 Everything looks amazing!!! Can’t wait to try a bowl tomorrow Thank you so much for this fabulous recipe (I did try the chicken that I accidentally over cooked so it’s dry (& a bit salty) but it’s okay for my first meal prep ever!!!!!! I love to cook & in my country we cook fresh every day but it’s hard for my HS & college kid to take hot lunches from home. I’d love some more no reheat needed recipes like this one that are different from our traditional tortas & sandwiches!!!! Thank you so much!!! 🥰
Absolutely great meal for the summer. Was making this as my lunch while cooking steak for dinner and my family was more interested in this than the BBQ steak. Definitely something I'll be making lots of for the summer
This has quickly become my absolute favorite cooking channel. Everything looks and tastes fuckin banging, recipes are always pretty simple and approachable, website is super easy to use. Just wish I had an air fryer :(

i was excited to see you make this today because for the last couple of weeks i've been seasoning my meal-prep chicken in a similar way. i marinade the chicken in gochujang, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, ginger, and sesame oil. i put them on a rack in a convection oven and they get nice bits of char on the edges from the soy sauce. i made this today pretty much as you have written (although i used thighs because chicken breasts are gross), but didn't include the noodles because i have those stupid glass food prep containers sized in no-way shape or form for humans, and was pretty much convinced that i wouldn't be able to fit all the food inside the containers i have. sadly, i was right - maybe next time i'll just put the noodles in a separate container and use as needed. all the same, everything came together nicely and i'm looking forward to my lunches this week! thank you kindly!
This video had me dead, loved hearing more of your personality come out. Not gonna lie, I was hesitant about this cold noodle dish--but by the end, you made it look super good XD, definitely going to have to try it.
Freaking awesome bro, I have been looking for a channel like yours for a year now, thanks for what you do, sick of boring ass meals and food prepping idiots with zero clue of what they are doing, finally found someone who knows their shit!
Hello and good day!!! I am glad to see this kind of recipe where the microwave is not necessary... And I hope you can have a series of this kind of recipe... Cheap dishes with no microwave use... ~Greetings from the Philippines!!!
I've been a cook since 2009 and have looked at a lot of these meal prep channels/post and have been left wanting when trying out the recipes. These were amazing. A+ recipe. Also good call on batch cooking in one of your other videos. Makes cooking at home way easier.
I made it! Awesome. I had to use pancit noodles cause that’s all I could find. Added a bit of fish sauce and Sambal after tasting. Next time I’ll add some crushed peanuts. I can’t say how long they will last in the fridge because they were eaten in two days by my teenager. Excellent!
You should be jailed with whoever named "seedless" cucumbers for the way you hold that fork. Great content as always Josh, this is legit the only channel I use for meal ideas now!
Doing it this week! My favorite is firecracker beef with Brussels. Except I use ground turkey. You are my favorite prep person! Thank you for all of the creativity and information.
Just knocked out my second batch of deconstructed big mac bowls last night (those have turned out to be a four-day prep because I gotta have one after they're made), excited to toss this recipe in the weekly lineup!
Literally everything I’ve made from your channel has been delicious 🙏🏻 When I first started “dieting”(cause it’s a life style) like 5 or 6 years ago, on and off of course, like some other regular living folks with stress and such, I was eating foods or meals that kinda tasted like science. Love the videos 🤙🏻 The included cussing is a bonus 😂
Not sure if you ever tried, but as a french dude, i'd suggest you to try vinaigrette with mustard. I've not tried with this combination of siracha/sugar/lime, it sounds really good as well.
i work in a weld shop that gets miserable in the summer and hot food is not appetizing at all i'm adding this one to my rotation for sure, add a little more variety to my salad and cold noodle meals
Love dishes that work cold, currently working my way trough the noodles dishes you've made before seeing if they work without heating. Since I work from my car I rarely am at a place where I can go and heat my food (try to avoid doing it at customers places since they tend to always have more work to interrupt my lunch).
I've been getting more and more into your videos! You have really great prep ideas that all seem relatively easy to make. Definitely going to try this one, since I've been wanting to pickle something at home. Also, respectively, the way you hold your fork scares me, fork wolverine.
As someone who struggles with sensory issues A LOT during cooking I appreciate the shout out. Love your recipes, the heats been killer here I think I'm gonna get the stuff to make this on payday. (Also considering replacing some of the noodles with beam sprouts to save on some carbs)
Josh, Can you please post bowl recipes using Quinoa as the main grain and seafood (salmon, shrimps tilapia) as the protein. Thank you. I am a great admirer of your Meal Preps.
I cover meat with a Ziploc bag and use a frying pan to tenderize love the good btw been working well for me with my busy schedule makes life so much easier and healthier for me and my family
I agree it’s hot over here but I just moved here from Tucson. I’ll take this San Antonio heat any day over Arizona.😆 By the way I love you channel! You are awesome! That avocado spray is my favorite! From HEB!
Omgosh Josh! You are hilarious! 😂 ❤️ The content. Heck I may even give these very delicious sounding meal kits a try. 😉 I'm totally stealing your Pickled Carrot hack for sure. You could use Onions, Radishes, etc, sky's the limit! Yum! Blessings, L
My brother you aren't kidding, it's hot as fuck down here this summer. Working on this right now. Took some liberties and added baby corn chunks and bean sprouts. Hopefully I don't forget the carrots....lol

I can't agree more, I have gained more strength mentally and organization in my every day life simply due to this channel!
Word. Fuck all those videos that have you wash 4 pots and 2 pans just to make a single meal.
that's awesome to hear, thank you so much 😎
Great comment 👍
100% agree. Love this channel
Would love to see more of the non heated meals. Love the content man.
thank you 😎
You could pickle the extra red cabbage too! That way it lasts and you can pair it with a lot of meals.
Was thinking the same thing.

I always look forward to whatever fork technique you invent with each new meal prep video
This one disturbed me.
He's fully hacked the algorithm. Man's a genius I tell ya
We call this technique “the Wolverine”
Waiting for the foot soon
im glad im not the only one who saw that 🤣
The way he's holding the fork. I once fell victim to that troll. Never again.
No this is how I hold it
"gddmn it i forgot the fkkn carrOTTTTTSSSSSS!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 haha i feel this on an existential level. especially the delivery.
Love how you keep incorporating more of your humor with each video. Great work.
The anger in this cooking channel is just the right amount ❤️
As an autistic person, this is absolutely the best way to present recipes for me! Thank you!!
I really appreciate that you mention the metric system also. This makes it a lot easier for me. Thank you. :)

thanks for the tips! i always love extra sauce so ill prob just make double the dressing
Man, I just went grocery shopping before you decided to drop this video? Lmao. It’s all good but I'll definitely make this later in the week.

Same! Lol
I've seen a lot of prep videos until now, but yours seem to be on a simple but different level 💪🏽💯 thanks

Looks really good. Just a hint- any noodles can be broken before cooking so you don't have to cut them after they're cooked.

Tried this recipe tonight! Turned out fantastic.
I made a veg version of this with seitan. Delish. Refreshing, simple, yummy.
You can feel the animosity from him eating vegetables with how he holds the fork
