  • Hi, I’m Ami, and I have lost 60lbs following the Starch Solution & using the principles of calorie density!
    Oat buns:
    3 cups oat flour
    2 tbsp baking powder
    1.5 cups yogurt
Mix, form into balls & bake for 35mins at 200 Celsius
    Oat roti:
    1 cup boiling water
    1 cup oat flour
Mix together until it forms a ball. Cover & rest for 5 mins. Knead well & roll into roti. Cook on non stick pan 👌
I am uploading these videos DAILY in the hopes that it inspires you and reassures you that you can this way no matter how busy or crazy your life is.
Hope my meals show you how you can get lean even as a volume eater (who loves her food!) too!

This week I heard someone say "feed two birds with one piece of bread" an animal friendly version of the expression that is too cute not to share.

SWEEET! I immediately looked up more versions of animal-friendly sayings and one of them was "Feed two birds with one SCONE!" LOL. and then to add to your lovely comment, I read "Take the flower by the THORNS!"

Im sorry about you getting negative comments..There is a anti diet culture movement which is really beneficial at reprogramming disordered behaviors but, I think it has gotten way out there and dogmatic . .You literally say all the time to honor your hunger. In fact you said in the beginning of this video that if you are hungry you need to eat no matter the time. also, you say anything can be for breakfast ect.. You also dont track calories and eat large abundant meals. I personally felt way less crazy around food when I went highcarb vegan. Thank you for all your time and content Ami❤

Hi Ami, I mean the oat buns today. I thought the yogurt I had was the right one but it was kite Hill vanilla unsweetened Greek yogurt. I used it anyway because I had already made the flower and mixed in the baking soda. Had to add a little moisture because Greek yogurt is so dense but it really upped the protein. The recipe made 12 balls and maybe next time less heat 4 less time, still taste great! I have quinoa soaking and will make your quinoa wraps later today. Thank you for all the effort you put into providing these videos!

Please be careful Ami. I used to be like this and laughed at people (mainly my Mum) who were worried about me. I too thought they wanted to ruin things for me or they were jealous when they were worried. It's only now looking back that I can see it.
Obsessing over things that are healthy isnt good. It shouldnt be your main focus in life.
I think you're great just genuinely worried as i can see my old patterns xx

I don't know why people get on their high horse and think they need to tell you what amount of exercise is right for you? You have to do what keeps you going.
Speaking of moving, I would love to see which rebounder your aunt has. I have a rebounder that has elastic bands, but I have been longing to get an expensive Bellicon. There is one other with bungees I have my eye on that is still quite spendy, but less money than a Bellicon.

Great video. I learn new stuff with each one. Can't wait to try everything. I love toasted sesame seeds in my hummus. Try it some time. The toasted ones add so much flavor, and you don't need a lot. If you burn them, though, start over. I love all your food. I'm so glad I found you. 😊

I love your zucchini potato soup! Ami, I was wondering why you use pb2 instead of just a bit of regular peanut butter on your porridge? I've tried pb2 but don't find it tasty and really don't see that small amount of nut butter daily cause me put on weight. What is your experience?

It’s amazing how the oat flour seems to be glutenous. I wonder if they are gluten free or not. Amazing what you made with it. Will defo try. The only oil free humus in the UK I have found is in Indian shops in the fridge section. It’s in a green carton. Tastes good but expensive. Thanks Amy and as said above, those who makes such comments are lazy and do not value their own health …
