Suzuki are the master of engines be it bikes or cars like swift etc, reliable, smooth, durable...built like tank without any unnecessary tech and show off.
So here’s how it went down: I went to test ride the Transalp 750-feeling all fancy and serious about it. After the ride, my buddy goes, “Hey, wanna check out the V-Strom 800?” I’m like, why not, let’s party! Zoomed straight to Suzuki, hopped on the V-Strom 800DE, and boom-game over. The bike spoke to my soul. Long story short, it’s now chilling in my garage like a boss. Pro tip: Do a back-to-back test ride. It’s like dating-only then you’ll know who’s “the one.” As for city life? Oh yeah, it’s my daily commuter. Sure, it gets a little toasty (it’s an 800cc, not a scooter), but Bangalore weather keeps it manageable. And guess what? 18 kmpl in the city! For an 800cc bike, that’s practically winning the mileage lottery. Best decision ever. End of story.

Fantastic review. Between this and transalp what would be your recommendation. Primary purpose is touring, 5% off road, with pillion, middle aged 5’6” height. 80% highway/ village roads and 20%city.
For a comfortable touring experience with a pillion, I will suggest Transalp. Because it's more highway oriented. Also, Transalp is a short bike, unlike Vstrom.
Good review as usual ❤ 3:56 Bro 1 suggestion please consider in ur upcoming review vdos - 'include the viewer prospective o sitting position..so that different highted person can assum the seat Hight & riding triangle according to their hight..as all u mentioned ur hight in vdos..i think this will be a very helpful addition' ❤
They have the 800 RE which caters to significantly wider audience but they have launched the de in india ! I really don’t understand their rationale. They want us to pay 13 lakhs on road for a bike that 99% of the buyers will use for touring with tubed wheels ! :(
when the average folks go for test ride, dealers will give the bike for ~ 200 m distance. But if you are a big shot youtuber, then yeah, multiple days and 900kms ! Most dealers do not know how to do business. Customer satisfaction is often last in the list.
I don't get vehicles in Bangalore 😂. Also, youtubers are considered to be the last to provide test rides, because they know we won't buy it. I have arranged this bike based on a personal connection on doing auto journalism for years. And I agree, many suzuki showrooms are pathetic in giving test rides even when the customer agrees to buy it.

Suzuki should come with 350 cc to 400cc adv tourer bikes..

No tubeless spoke wheels 🙅🙅
The only caveat is the absence of tubeless tires. Which is a deal-breaker 🙁
Honda Transcalp 750 killer
I don’t know why but BMW, Triumph and even Suzuki sells bigger engines bikes in india, but KTM doesn’t.
KTM's big bikes are available in India. Check their website.
A lego motorcycle 😁
😂 I second it
Get a tubeless conversion for god's sake. Not an issue to begin with

Looks like the new himalayan 452...
😬
You really need to check your eyes 👍
There’s no hiding the fact that this bike looks ugly when compared to the competition, suzuki messed up big time with the headlight and the taillight
dont forget the exhaust
