Or for makkara kastike. Sausage Sauce with black pepper the sininen lenkki is the best. And the habanero makkara is nothing. The best is wilhelm chlili-sulatejuusto. Its has more hot flavor but not to much. Just be cauntius of the chess becouse it get hot inside.

Or on a wood fire, cut in big slices and put on a stick like a marshmallow..
On a wood sauna it's good too packed up inside an
      aluminum paper

  • @victoreem2

    Do this with HK Blöö
    1. Take off the skin
    2. Make about 5 five cuts per sausage
    3. Put cheese slices in the cuts
    4. Put it in a hot oven
    5. Eat with your choice of potatoes(i recommend smash)

Sininen lenkki has a "weird smooth taste" because it's more flour than meat. The most famous "vegetable" of Finland! X-D

Sininen lenkki is awesome when you take plastic Cover off, cut some holes In it and put sliced Cheese In those. Then at owen with 150°c like 45mins to 1 Hour and you Will have perfect food for after sauna parties... Ofc some lager with it 😉

As others have posted, sininen lenkki goes in the oven with some cheese and I like to put some tomato wedges in it as well. However, a real finn wraps it in aluminium foil and cooks it directly on the sauna stove while he is bathing. After the sauna session you open the package and enjoy your dinner!

I've been loving the seitsemän chilin makkara by Harjun makkaratehdas. Apparently they grind the chilis with different coarseness levels so each flavour hits you at different times. You should do a video on tuoremakkara. They have less preservatives and are usually more "artisanal"

Sininen Lenkki certainly gets smushy on open fire. It is generally recommended for oven. Some people cut some notches on it and put slices of cheese in. It's a bland bulk sausage from the old times. Still an important part of Finnish tradition though. Kabanossi Rio Picante has been my go-to for the last few years.

My ultimate favorite is Kabanossi's juusto-jalapeno one. They're like half the length of a normal makkara and there's 5? 6? makkara's per pack. I'm not a fan of spicy stuff, so that stuff absolutely burns my mouth. But I love it. I think they have another mini makkara packet too, should look for that too. Last summer the only place where I was able to find them was my local Citymarket here in Helsinki.

You could add some spice by mixing sriracha with ketchup.

Hk blue is original finnish makkara. And great innovation. It is basekly carbage 🤣. I mean when others put breans and other stuff away HK put those to makkara. And HK blue is vegetable.😁

Huiluntuhti Best makkara in the world, you should try it, and make thin slashes on the skin 1cm spaces before grilling it.

You should try Savuhovi's "Tuska" or "Auranen" (bluecheese). Auranen includes 10% "Valio Aura" and almost everything else is meat. Tuska is quite hot, but not too much. They also had "Isoviha" which was even hotter, but I think that one is discontinued. You should be able to find them from bigger markets, if not, you need to come visit Kerava - their factory and shop is here :-)
