For those that are interested and don't know; Shadow Moses is an Alaska's Fox Archipelago island from Metal Gear Solid video game, and one of the best if not the best franchises with amazing story. The also amazing song at the beginning and the end is a soundtrack song from the game named "The best is yet to come" written and produced by Rika Muranaka and sung by Aoife Ní Fhearraigh. Second game (released 2001) is mind blowingly accurate with its real world future predictions and tries to show/teach it's players/watchers a lot, especially with its ending conversations. (The games are best experienced in the order of release.) It's on the level so profound it should be taught in schools.
I love all of what you said but the order is: Mgs3, Peace Walker, MGSV:Ground Zeroes, MGSV:The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2, MGS1, MGS2, MGS4, MGR Revengeance

if you truly like a song enough, comments made by random folk on the internet shouldn't alter your thoughts on it. edit: this comment could be a joke, but the point still stands for others that say similar things and mean it.

Oh man the extra layers over "Can you tell from the look in our eyes ... You can run but you'll never escape" had me looking around my room like someone creeped up behind me or that the walls were talking

Honestly this is peak BMTH. This song is by far the best they've made. Really captures the anger and pain Oli went through with drug addiction. Iowa levels of heavy right here
That’s really ignorant and dumb for you to say . Every album has its anthem this is just the one they chose to push and the song they’re label chose to push so they could win some awards which they did and to incapacitate what the album would sound like .
I always used to blame this song for worsening my depression. But when I was younger I was just looking for anyway out. This song KEPT me alive when nothing else did. This is what I remember. This is all that matters.
Fun fact, Liquid Snake from Metal Gear Solid had a time blaming his brother Solid Snake for trying to stop him from becoming the best Snake in the Metal Gear universe. His blaming was once set on his father figure, (not) Big Boss, for he couldn't raise the son to a better life. And since Shadow Moses is where the game Metal Gear Solid took place, your comment feels...rhyming to history.

Absolutely nothing in their entire discography matches this in my opinion. This is my favorite BMTH song. I like the fast punk beat, coupled with the heaviness and screaming, such anger. Nothing lets me vent out quite like this song.Their early death core stuff does not do it for me at all. Only this. I wish they would make more of this kind of stuff; this is the only song even on sempiternal with this sound

Over and over, again and again
I think it’s the ‘look in our eyes’ in the official lyrics (the booklet that came with the CD)
Its "Look in Our Eyes" But Northern accents can be a bit muddy yknow
You didn't include "FUCK" 🥺 but thanks I was exactly looking for this in the comments! 💚

The crowd of 55k people singin together the "we're goinh nowhere" and "THIS IS SEMPITERNAL" was absolutely insane, just remembering of that give me chills. That was the most amazing show I've ever seen in my life! I love you so much Bring Me The Horizon, e te amo muito Oliver!!!

(The games are best experienced in the order of release.)
It's on the level so profound it should be taught in schools.
It's been a long time since I heard The Best is Yet to Come
I love all of what you said but the order is:
Mgs3, Peace Walker, MGSV:Ground Zeroes, MGSV:The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2, MGS1, MGS2, MGS4, MGR Revengeance
This checks out ✅
@@luketube7207 to be honest imo there's better impact if you're play 3 after 2 because then when you go to 4 where there's a lot of mentioning from 3 which is much easier to understand

[Intro]
Can you tell from the look in our eyes
We're going nowhere
We live our lives like we're ready to die
We're going nowhere
Can you tell from the look in our eyes
We're going nowhere
We live our lives like we're ready to die
We're going nowhere
[Verse]
I thought I buried you and covered the tracks
You'll have to take this with your cold dead hands
I thought I buried you, what's dead can never die
I thought I'd cut you loose, severed the feeling
I slipped through the cracks, and you caved in my ceiling
I thought I buried you, what's dead can never die, fuck
[Chorus]
Can you tell from the look in our eyes
We're going nowhere
We live our lives like we're ready to die
We're going nowhere
You can run, but you'll never escape
Over and over again
Will we ever see the end
We're going nowhere
[Breakdown]
This is sempiternal
Will we ever see the end
This is sempiternal
Over and over, again and again
Rise from the dead you say
Secrets don't sleep till they're took to the grave
Signal the sirens, rally the troops
Ladies and gentlemen, it's the moment of truth
[Chorus]
Can you tell from the look in our eyes
We're going nowhere
We live our lives like we're ready to die
We're going nowhere
You can run, but you'll never escape

Fun fact, Liquid Snake from Metal Gear Solid had a time blaming his brother Solid Snake for trying to stop him from becoming the best Snake in the Metal Gear universe. His blaming was once set on his father figure, (not) Big Boss, for he couldn't raise the son to a better life.
