I cried listening, and watching this video clip. I cried for Mary, I cried for Joseph...and at the same time felt so happy for baby Jesus. Viva Cristo Rey.Thank you so much for the reflection Father Mark. God bless you.
LeapFrog 06 I would advise you to utilize all of the spiritual medicines that the Lord has made available. I have found that after frequent confessions, receiving of the Eucharist, and Rosary, helps in a dramatic way when all are combined. One on its own is not as powerful as when all done together. Think of eating but never sleeping. Or sleeping but never quenching a severe thirst. Its like that. They are each vital, but you need all. God Bless you, may you be given all the virtues you need one by one xoxoxo
I just love these meditations- I love this Holy Family so much. Thank you Father! I am so grateful. I can’t stop thinking about them and how they were devoted to each other and how they followed God’s will. Viva Christo Rey!
I love getting to enter into moments with the Holy Family in all their humanity and raw holiness, emotion, love, suffering, perseverance, all of it and just imagine their life as it really was. Thank you for this. It really helps bring me into that place in my imagination and heart.
I love these meditations! Thank you so much for guiding us through such a beautiful story. I have never prayed/meditated in this way before. Thanks so much.
I'm Brazilian and I started with the first week meditation of this advent (Which I thought it was amazing due the fact that I'm coming back to the masses, faith and so) and then with this one it for EVEN BETTER!! It's incredible how God reveals his desires through the 'closing eyes and opening heart' practice. I definitely Love to pray and makes me closer and closer to be the saint God wants me to .. but this travel with Maria and José was something out of the normal pace, got me surprised. God bless you father! Keep with this work of PURE LOVE ♥🙌 Jesus Is King! 👑
I know next to nothing. I'm currently in RCIA & have 1,000 questions. No disrespect intended, but if Joseph never had sex with Mary after the birth of Jesus, where did the brothers & sisters come from which are mentioned in the Gospels? I understand marriage is a sacrament, so how would the fulfillment of the sacrament, the physical bond & expression of love between husband & wife sully Mary's memory or reputation? Again, I am not wanting to be crass or disruptive. These are probably questions someone raised in the Church has answers to from childhood, but I've only been attending mass for two months.
If Mary had other children then according to the culture they were living in at the time she would gone to live with one of her other children after Jesus' death & not with St. John. Also where were these other children she supposedly had when Jesus was being crucified? Surely at least one of them could have been there to support their mother & half - brother?
@@victoria9381 I couldn't say where the others might be. Just to play devil's advocate, maybe, like most of the disciples, they didn't show up to proclaim an association with someone basically convicted of heresy & treason? It's 92 miles from Nazareth to Jerusalem, which at an average walking speed of 3 mph would take 32 hours, so roughly three days. Maybe not everyone was crazy about the idea of taking a week off from life to walk to Jerusalem & back, deal with the Passover crowds & the always friendly Roman presence? I'd be curious which Greek words were used for brothers & sisters in the gospels of Mark & John. After all, Elizabeth is often assumed to be a cousin of Mary when the word used was syngenis, which means 'kinswoman', & could have been anyone in the extended family & practically the tribe. Again, I don't claim to know anything. I'm merely learning & asking questions, doing that digging of which I am able. I'm very methodical & logical in my approaches, or try to be, which can be an enormous barrier when trying to learn tradition & those things which are accepted by faith. I hate having so many questions, but all I can do is take the stance of the man in Mark who told Jesus, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief."
Thank you Father for these meditations and bringing advent alive for me in a very distracting time. God bless you all!
So beautiful. Thank you Father 💞

They did after Jesus birth as husband as wife but not before . Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Melissa Campbell not biblical. Read your bible

I couldn't find a way to get the journal. I'm from Mexico and I just wanted to inow if there's a way to ship the journal here?
Next time, skip the age. It is not mentioned in the Bible. Bless you.
@@Bc232klm The bible is powerful. But we need to follow the Holy Church's doctrine and traditions.
Catholics dont not have a reason for what they believe. Please respect that belief when defending the faith.
