George is an artist, a craftsman, and a genius. He did all of this without a plan, on the fly. Totally amazing. I hope you found some inspiration and ideas. Thank you for sharing this.
No doubt a labor of love. This layout is so fine, it really should be preserved, though I doubt that will happen. Amazing the attention to detail, not only with street and rail scenes but also with the running stock, which has been made to show wear and age. It is hard to imagine how many hours were devoted to all this work. Thanks for sharing, and thanks to the creator of this amazing layout.
Curtis Grindahl this was the first time I ever seen this layout. Every inch is detailed. There is so much to see I actually got a headache. Lots to take in. If you ever have the opportunity to see this layout it will be worth the trip.
I was up there during the recent Fine Scale Expo. The FSM website has contact info. Not sure what the open house schedule is. If you have the opportunity to see this layout you will not be disappointed.
Excellent! Does he still give tours to the public? I remember reading that he was doing one saturday a month during the summer months. Is this still a thing?

Wow, I finally spotted a flaw. There's no litter under the bridge. There's always litter under a bridge.

It's the most detailed layout I have ever seen. A must see.
