installed the LCE street header kit and Pro flow exhaust system on my 22 RE FWD mid March '23. Installation wasn't too difficult and system is a solid fit. There was a noticeable improvement in performance and fuel economy. However, a year later there is noticeable rust all along the exhaust system and minor rust on lower headers. Not what I expected from ceramic coated 409 stainless steel!
When did engineering changed the material used for those exhaust eg. Stainless steel thanks. My exhaust I bought from LC engineering years ago is rusting.
I have a 89, 22re, pickup with a 2” body lift. Would my best option be going with the shorty header? Or now that I’m thinking about it I should be able to work with the 4wd street headers. What would y’all suggest?
With a body lift you should have no issues as the engine mount locations wont be changing. Give us a call if you have any questions 877-505-2501, the street header should be good option for you in a long tube design.
I want to see a dyno comparison of a truck with the stock manifold and your custom manifolds, proving that they actually add power

Man I want one but it's so dam expensive. I can't make one yet because I don't have a tig welder. Someday I won't be poor.
will this fit on a 1982 toyota celica with the 22R?

It's normal for headers to rust, as long as it does the job

I'm in California. I think heat riser is part of the visual inspection. Just cut a dummy one?

I have both a 2wd pickup and a first gen 4runner. Which header would fit both?
Unfortunately they would require different headers. Give us a call and we would be glad to assist you. 877-505-2501.
