I appreciate you sharing! I have 2 under 2 boys, I’ve been struggling with finding a program that is majority online, which accommodates students that have children ❤ You give me hope!
Been waiting on your next video! Thank you so much for making these, it really eases my “school anxiety” as you are one term ahead of me lol. I would love a quick vid or tutorial for your concept map template. I’m doing well in my studies so far, but will ALWAYS take new study methods. Can’t wait for your next video seeing how much you’re progressing! You go girl!! 🎉
😅 Loved that clip at the end! So glad you are making these videos. I'm in my 1st term trying to accelerate through all these pre-nursing courses. Its hectic but these videos are very encouraging and helpful!
Yes! I swear everything it starting to become so much smoother for me in the clinical portion compared to prenursing where I was trying to know 8 classes out 😅 just keep going it gets smoother! 🫶🏽 and had to show yall some realness at the end 😂
Thank you for posting I am excited you posted I start next month June 1st ❤I am beyond excited to start the Nursing pre licensure program I only have 7 Courses to Complete before I start the core nursing classes😊
Yes please do a video on the concept maps. I’m in term 1 but I would still like to see the breakdown. Your channel and experience was an inspiring factor in enrolling in WGU ❤
Does WGU require "patient pick up?" This is where the school requires you to go the day before clinicals and pick up info about your patient that you will be assigned the following day and you have to go home and study all of the health related information for that patient and enter it into a clinical document software. You don't take any personal identifying information. A college in my area requires that and it is a lot of extra time out of the week. Also, are smart watches or other devices allowed at clinicals? Are phones allowed on your person?
I absolutely not, and that is a lot lol! But no you only show up for your scheduled shifts and you are with your nurse for report and that is all the information you will need to complete your clinicals, and yes you can have you smart watch and phone on you just can’t sit on your phone while you’re completing your shift.
If you say 2 times does it mean two days or three times in two weeks? I'm in Dallas and I have to travel to Houston which I feel like I'm not ready for Houston traffic.
I’m admitted into this program as well it’s 4 years from scratch . 2.5 years with all your pre reqs done with my the 4 non transferable pre nursing classes you take with WGU
I lole the way you explain the important points ...

can u talk about in person clinicals? how often is it and for how long? i will be traveling and would like to plan ahead
Thank you 😊
does why require the COVIDvax for clinical rotations?
Do you have any tips on paying for the program?
Please post it
how many classes did you take in term 1? you say you did 6 clinicals in a row. Does that mean it was 6 days in a row?
How many clinical days do you have to work total?
How many times do you have to do in-person labs?
2 times and there’s one virtual lab I heard
If you say 2 times does it mean two days or three times in two weeks? I'm in Dallas and I have to travel to Houston which I feel like I'm not ready for Houston traffic.
How long do you estimate the program takes??
I’m admitted into this program as well it’s 4 years from scratch . 2.5 years with all your pre reqs done with my the 4 non transferable pre nursing classes you take with WGU
When do you get your badge?
You will get your badge once you finish all your pre-nursing classes!
