God, village bridge is beautiful. The little bit about the woman practicing her song in isolation so that she might one day join the town’s theme… its such a good fucking tiny little detail that gives the whole town life. It’s not just the background music or a peppy route theme, that’s the sound of peoples’ lives, their happiness, sadness, strife, death, hopes, dreams… god damn.
Fun Fact: The reason I love Pokémon Black 2 / Pokémon White 2 so dang much is because all of its music is so GOOD and very incredible on so many levels.

Well, we can hope. Gamefreak don’t often go out of their way for the finishing touches on the world like these anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if these were absent in any remakes.
If it will have a remake it should be fully 3d, no chibis. And they should preserve the game's feel but with the touch of 3d. That's the only thing they have to change. Just make it 3d, don't touch anything else.

Every time I see clips from BW/B2W2 I get sad because we’ll probably never get a Pokémon game like this again. Sure this gen definitely has its flaws, but man, I definitely feel like these games were some of the best that GameFreak made. Story, soundtrack, pokemon, characters and the fast-paced battling is what made me fall in love. I’ll always defend these ones, even if some people think of them as the worst games in the series.
I like the theme of music building up the more depth we went, it feels more adventurous than ever basically the best Pokémon Generation ever in term of sound mechanics, props to the sound designers
I love “victory is right before your eyes” (last gym leaders mon) Gen 5 just had the best music of all time, and they also implement some music off some older generations, which makes things 100 times better!

Pokemon Black 2 is the first pokemon game that made me cry not due to nostalgia but because of pure love that the devs put into their game. The story, music, and the relationship you have with the NPCs my god. It really was a good breather playing it during the first few weeks of pandemic away from my friends and family. Other pokemon games were great too but Gen 5 and Gen 3(+remakes) got their own places secured in my heart.
The song and dance go so well together that it’s impossible to have one without the other… which is precisely why it appears and changes forms during this version of the cutscenes!!!
So fucking sad the PKMN games dont have this level of passion anymore The next games feel a little dumb without all those realistic interactions And the music feels genuine here

Black/White and Black2/White2 are the best Pokemon games ever made. The story, music, characters (N, Rosa, Nate, Hilbert, Elesa, Drayden, Iris, Hugh, Ghetsis and Colress) and the Pokemon (Serperior, Liepard, Hydreigon, Zekrom, Galvantula and especially Haxorus are amazing) are just fantastic. I like Black and White more than Black2 and White2, but both are fantastic games.
Also Zekrom and Reshiram battle OST are different. In the Zekrom one there is a "zap effect" in the background whilst in the Reshiram one there is a "flame effect" in the backgound. Both are different from Kyurem Base form one which has a bass added to the other intruments. It's really a shame that in ORAS and USUM they all have the Zekrom version.
why did the npcs making music and dancing cause real tears to come to my eyes?? i’m realizing now that i’ve buried memories of somehow making an emulator work and run white 2 on a samsung tablet at the age of 9. the entire game was at half speed, and my shitass team (snivy and riolu) wasn’t able to make it past roxie, but i can’t believe i forgot that pokémon go WASNT my first game.
I was so mad when black and white 2 put a pokemon restriction on the piano girl in accumula town. Whismer and Kricketot, (probably spelled the latter wrong) which you can't find in game.
This is the pokemon game we needed but didn't deserve. So much nostalgia. I truly wish the remakes will make me feel all the emotions like the first time

And Sword and Shield has a cutscene of Piers singing (but there is no voice).
