It's just my guess that Meghan jumped ship on her Lemonada Pod Cast when she saw how uninterested people were when they didn't sign up or even click on her website. She knew she wasn't going to make any money. I also read that she wanted some money in advance and they said no. I think she would have taken the money and ran.

I don't think Lemonada cares if M does or doesn't. I understand they are contracted to pay her when her podcasts generate earnings. So, they won't be out of pocket, and yet, look at the publicity they've received, for free!!! I say, “Well done,” Lemonada!!! I'm really enjoying others benefitting from Meghan without her intending them to: Royal family is more popular because of Meghan's awful behaviour; Lemonada - free publicity; King Charles' jam selling out, etc ...!!!

If I was a podcaster looking for a suitable platform, Lemonada's connection to her would make me dismiss them as a possibility.
I think it’s terrible and embarrassing that London would not put up a statue of Queen Elizabeth II but the smallest county in England will do this type of remembrance. Pitiful and disgusting. Shika con should be voted out.

That's true, but to have London, that benefits so much from the tourism that the Monarchy generates, can't bother, and outright snubs a statue to one of the greatest monarchs in history, is outright shameful.
All I can say is, crooked politicians.
That still doesn't excuse London for not putting up a statue. The Monarchy has been an integral part of London for a millennium, and to not honour its greatest Monarch is a disgrace.

Lemonada came out ahead. They didn't give her any money upfront. It was on a contingency basis. Plus, they got lots of free PR since they're a tiny unknown media company. That said, just read that MM canceled. She did them a huge favor!

I think Prince George looks very much like Michael Middleton. I think Princess Charlotte looks exactly like her Dad and Prince Louis looks more like Catherine. but it is not as strong a resemblance as the others have to their respective elder. But, like you, the word "handsome" comes to my mind whenever I see a picture of Prince Louis - such a strong personality comes through his photos - remember that picture of him laughing out loud at his baptism? The three Wales children are gorgeous but I really don't see a strong "family" resemblance among them.

the Harkles had produced ONE podcast with Harry and Megs in Jan '21......the rumour was that it was actually the 3rd one that they'd made, but the other 2 were unairable. Their contract called for a podcast a month with Harry in it......and got one podcast in a year and a half. Then it was the Megs' only show, after Spotify had built them a studio in their own home, and had given them 21 producers. (Joe Rogan built his own studio in his garage and he's the main producer) That's why the Spotify CEO called them Grifters......they will sign anything, and not do anything in their contract. For all that they're feminists, Lemonada should have listened to the Spotify male CEO.....the rest of us would never sign a contract with them and expect them to fulfill it (there were no protection clauses for Spotify....the woman who made up and signed the contract with the Harkles was fired 2 days after Megs. last podcast. Netflix has a load of protections for Netflix in the Harkles' contract.) Spotify and the Harkles are the very definition of grifters. ...promising to do something and then barely lifting a finger.

Lemonada probably needed buzz and they got that from Meghan. Not sure they expected much else. If they did, shame on them for not doing due diligence on past performance predicting future behavior. My sense is the jam business is next on the splash, trash, and put it in the past business model.

Spotify would have renewed the contract, and she might have REALLY beat Joe Rogan if her podcast was about the books they'd written about her. She could take excerpts from books written by Lady C, Valentine, etc, and talked about them... unfiltered, just like she said.

Hard to have any sympathy for lemonada. Any company should do their due diligence before partnering with anyone. And there's so many red flag examples of hers out in the public domain.
