My Tesla went half as far as gas for twice the cost, but it was fun to drive. Toyota, what can you do for me today? It's crazy to listen to this marketing crap that's always kicking the can down the road. By the time Toyota gets around to it don't you expect the competitors will be there as well?
Probably the high end as far as price goes. 900 mi range. China already has a solid state battery car with a 550 mi range. Much cheaper. But still more range than any car today. Charging time of less than 20 minutes from zero. Solid State batteries cannot catch fire, are cheaper to make, and range lasts longer.

Toyota announces their new 2028 EV with a claimed range of 900miles, and the NEXT EV is able to cruise in light speed which will be mass produced in 20028.
the theory is good but whether it is practicable is a question. High mile range and fast charging means the battery needs to store huge amount of energy no matter what form of battery you use, and fast charging means putting in huge amount of energy into the battery , then you would need a super super and super charger with very large charging current, whether this kind of charger can be built in every gas station in a city is questionable.
Chargers that are private, have to be 7metres(23FEET) from a building, a insurers notice(UK). That sounds like EV's are a huge fire risk. Ask a fireman what the requirements are for an EV accident. Ing the UK they have to form a no go area of about 50ft
So you're telling me that the EV will always have a short shitty range? Damn! Welp i guess I'll keep my jaguar XJl and continue to fully fuel (once a month) taking me 3.5 minutes and my 515 miles of range. @carlsmith5545 u can get a EV at well under 41K and it's not like u have to stop at charging stations. If u r using 500 miles in a month then u could even plug in ur EV to a 15 amp wall plug and be perfectly ok and u would only do it twice a month
