    Man lived in bournemouth for nearly 20 odd years use to go bournemouth Beach a lot now in Canada so beautiful to see Bournemouth Beach lot of good memories

    If there’s one great thing about a storm it’s a rough sea, disappointing how calm it was waves wise in Bournemouth. The wind was actually crazy though.

      Thanks for watching Kaj. It was 33 knots at Bournemouth airport and 105mph was recorded at the nearby Isle of Wight Needles. b33zo

      Think the needles at the Isle of Wight recorded 122mph. Which is a English record. Although I don't think the weather station was there in 1987

      @@tidtidy4159 - I've been around a long time too, and the tide marks at piers such as these and around the country, hasn't risen in the 50yrs I know of.

      @@GH-lo8vl its complicated. Yes, trees and every other plants including phytoplankton breathe out and sequester
      97%of the carbon cycle .this is the natural carbon cycle. The other 3% comes from burning fossil carbon. It doesn't sound much but its accumulative .
      Sea levels are rising as seen in Bangladesh, Tuvalu, florida,etc. The data is available at NASA, NOAA and the IPCC. And many more.
      I don't expect this to have any affect on your opinions. Once people have gained a belief, its hard to shift. The dunning cruger effect.
