Calligraphy is sooo beautiful! I just love watching videos in slow motion of someone scrolling out the letters. Really soothing.
I have always loved watching others do calligraphy. It's not something I wish to do for myself but I love to see it in progress and the finished product.

My friends and family are constantly praising my handwriting and my attempts at any form of hand. Even to the point of saying I could turn it into a business but idk how I feel about a job based on a talent or skill bc there are days I'm just not feeling it or can't get a letter right per se. I have journals that are just random words and quotes that I've written bc it's soothing to me.

This was fairly helpful! I've heard about the chief calligrapher at the whitehouse but I didnt know that there were junior ones. I always said to my parents and to people asking that I was going to be the head calligrapher at the white house but it was always fairly jokingly. I believe that the positions are all filled now though... I know that my calligraphy is well beyond what is required to make money with it but I have never had a job before in anything so I am very unknowing about the processes of working in general. Its difficult to get myself out there on social media and anywhere that is for making job listings cost money which, by the whole never worked before thing, is difficult too. I hate asking my parents for money. I don't know why I am typing this, I just need to vent.

I enjoy this type of thing, especially for planners, bullet journaling and scrapbooking. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I have the skillset to accomplish the look that I like. ;-)
Do you have a video or any tips on how to avoid looking down so much when you're writing at a desk? I finally get lots of strain in the neck from all my work I'm looking down at the desk.

It is weird I am a teacher and my handwriting needs some work on and that is what I am trying to do so trying to use my own tools but would try yours
I am interested in doing this on the side, and then maybe later make a business out of it. Just needing some advice on how to get started. I'm not too bad at lettering,but it probably wouldn't hurt to take some classes though.
I wish I wrote pretty enough for calligraphy.
You can, practice for a little while everyday and you'll start seeing improvement quickly. 😊
