I am "the lady from Canada" who is part of the "Shoo!" stitch along! 😂🇨🇦 My name is Laurel and I am from British Columbia. I was on UA-cam and Elaine's Flosstube popped up (not quite 2 years ago) and I was amazed at everything she was working on... especially Cheese Delivery. I left her a comment saying that I am a journal maker but loved her work. Her return comment said that she hoped I would find my stitchy bug. Good to see you, as always, Sally. Before I watched your video I watched Lisa's video and it was so lovely to see her doing well. I think I would like to climb on board the Feast of Friendship SAL and did some kitting up on it today. I have had this pattern in my to stitch pile since I started cross stitching again in 2020. I'm not getting any younger and although my WIP total is getting a little out of hand I plan to start on the 29th. If I never start it, it will never get done. Love that house and the fruit basket.

I laughed out loud when you said that your Bee chart was your most recent purchase --- for now! I know that feeling!! It definitely does meet the prompt because it was your most recent purchase when you showed it!! I love the idea of your stitch-along with Lisa. I don't have the Feast of Friendship unfortunately, but I will follow along and do another chart that is all about friends called Seasoned Friend (Jeanette Douglas, Letters from Mom July). The chart is intended to depict and mother and daughter, but I am doing it for my very dearest friend. I do love all your starts and plans. I hope you have a lovely time at the retreat.

I saw your 50 for 50 video and I fell in love with the Light pattern, I plan on starting it as soon as my floss comes. I was wondering what colour did you use on the collar and arms? I just love the blue and think it all goes so nicely!

Oh I wish you were coming too so we could meet in real life!! There will be more retreats though. I often think I would like to do more but it's hard when you have a family to plan so far ahead and book. I laughed out loud when you said that your Bee chart was your most recent purchase --- for now! I know that feeling!! It definitely does meet the prompt because it was your most recent purchase when you showed it!! I love the idea of your stitch-along with Lisa. I don't have the Feast of Friendship unfortunately, but I will follow along and do another chart that is all about friends called Seasoned Friend (Jeanette Douglas, Letters from Mom July). The chart is intended to depict and mother and daughter, but I am doing it for my very dearest friend. I do love all your starts and plans. I hope you have a lovely time at the retreat.

I saw your 50 for 50 video and I fell in love with the Light pattern, I plan on starting it as soon as my floss comes. I was wondering what colour did you use on the collar and arms? I just love the blue and think it all goes so nicely!
I am so pleased with the colour choices! The collar is DMC 3860 and the lighter colour of the arm (also going to use on the stars on the dress) is Classic Colorworks Cinnamon Toast. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have been! Happy Stitching 🪡🧵❤️
