QUICK GUIDE: How to SWITCH to 1st person POV in Helldivers 2

- Just in case you were wondering how you can switch to 1st Person POV while aiming in Helldivers 2, here is a quick tip. You can do this easily in PS5 by just pressing the R3 button or going to Options, controller, change bindings, select the combat tab and scroll halfway to find the switch aim mode. That's it! Now you won't use the Third Person POV while aiming and instead use 3rd Person POV.

Probably be a mod for this eventually.
A major failure on the part of the developers. The game is already third person, so first should be fine. Its one thing to add 3rd person to a first person shooter since that allows you to cheat corners and stuff, but for this game it should already be an option to switch views.

PC's binding is MIddle Mouse also there is binding on one of your mouse buttons to change the shoulder you look over.
Middle mouse button does nothing for me

@@Gtinferno1 I have mine on dynamic aim, press gives me first person ADS and hold gives me 3rd person. Unfortunate, but it's all we can do right now until a fix

Ps5 is aim then click R3 it’ll do it and then go into settings and change it to global and it will remember it for all the guns
Im waiting for them to add a dedicated forst person option but would buy as soon as they implemented it. Honestly dont understand you can play a shooter in 3rd person....gross.

Middle mouse button if your on keyboard or R3 on controller
On ps5 you get randomly stuck on scope and you can’t get back to 3rd person … Annoying as hell
Need to be able to play in 1PV all the time and not just when aiming, I like the game but it's the only thing that's holding it back. 3PV is almost outdated now and most players wanna play in 1PV especially if u got use to playing some war games like COD or Battlefield, if they release an update to where u can play in 1PV then HD2 will explode and be up there with the best games but until then the 3PV will hold it back

I figured it out, you can't use it if your aim is 'press' but it will work when you changed it to 'hold'

Gta 6 and black ops gulf war is worth it in my opinion and the next battlefield as well .
