Please note, when keeping parrots, pay attention to a large cage, especially if at least two parrots are kept in it. Enough toys (against boredom) daily fresh fruit and vegetables, daily free flight (please keep windows and doors closed!) Humidity at least 60% and a way for the parrot to take a bath.

Here is a message from my human mom: My grandfather and his brother raised several types of parrots, it is in my Taino blood to care for them. Peter is a happy bachelor who lives with two cats. I’ve had him since he was a baby and he is still a youngin’ in his late 20’s. Intelligent birds need a lot of attention, enrichment and a full time housekeeper. Bringing a parrot into one’s life, as it may be a life long decision, needs careful planning and learning about their care. This is why I thought I would share a peek into Peter’s life for those who are curious.
