That is a handsome looking bike. I could see myself on that! Don't fancy the price just at the moment though but will maybe look out for one in the future. It's ideal height for those of us that are vertically challenged too lol. Nice review, thanks Chris.

Ooh that bullet looks nice 🤩, I do have to admit though just lately I haven't seen many brand new 250cc bikes in the shops as new I don't know why but I did look at all bike shops in my area and could find many I think I found 1 and that was it I would love to see a keeyway 250 or a something different but the only 1 found was a hyosung and it was looking very nice specially with a huge box underneath it that was a part of the exhaust and it really didn't look that nice for a sport bike✌️.
@@gmanlimitedanderson-0drisc211 yes it is the Gd250r, I also watched I video done by a mechanic he said alot of those bikes don't make it past 1k miles and for some reason every time he fixes it the people only get about a week before it breaks again is this true? The video was done by Alex Simmons
It's because the original engine it's based on was in a low state of tune. It's based on an 80's Yamaha xv250 engine, this was later beefed up in the Yamaha srv250 where it had twin carbs and different cam profiles and produced around 30bhp ... all Longjia (the company that manufacturers the Bullit Bluroc 250/V Bob and Lexmoto Vendetta) have done is built the xv250 v twin but detuned it further. This is likely to be for cost and reliability reasons. In essence the old rule applies: Cheap/Reliable/fast - pick two and the other one won't apply. 👍
Is that a derivative of the old 250 Virago engine 🤔. Surely could've coaxed more than 16bhp out of it. Still looks like a Sportster which should appeal to a sizeable group of A2 licence holders
Yes, it's the xv250 engine but detuned. It's produced by Longjia in China and they make it for Bullit, Lexmoto, Italjet and loads more. I'd hazard a guess that the original 20hp at the wheel isn't much worse on the Bullit 250. The specs suggest that these Longjia engines produce peak torque at slightly lower revs than the yamaha engines. Yes its lower torque (12.5 vs 15.9 approx) but they appear to have detuned them to maximise reliability and cost. There's a video on UA-cam showing a lad doing 70mph at 5500rpm on a Vendetta (same engine)... so still totally useable 👍
@@Ridingreviews help me plz, on the riding video you said "plenty" of power from this little cc engine.. but im afraid 17hp will be "short" . Does it have a nice torque? I cant seem to find it to test drive it.

Yes everyone is struggleing with money at the minute and getting bikes
Bullit are making some really cool bikes. I’m not usually a fan of that style of bike but that looks mean and tough and I do like it
They are making some nice stuff the chinese bikes are taking over the a2 market
What’s the angle between the cylinder?
I wish it’s 45 degrees that would really sounds like HD
To be honest, i dont have the answer to that question

Zontes are bringing some really nice 125cc at 18 hp restrictto 14.4
