- No mic input in camera dslr. Problem solved!!! Canon Rebel T6 . How to install a external microphone in camera dslr. I did a test later it did not work. not 100% its going to work for you. due i dont have the T6 camera anymore.

If the camera doesn't have an external min jack then the camera doesn't support a external mic, most of the time the camera what have DAC built in for audio conversion.
@Yashvir The Pentester Thats your best bet cause if the camera doesn't have a mic jack it doesn't support external audio, but looking back at this video all these years later, the fact he adapted a 3.5mm to usb is funny now.

Careful this cable I just bought it and it doesn't work, it doesn't fit in the port ofy camera cannon rebel t100 this cable is another kind of micro usb my camera has different micro usb !!!

Unfortunately it dosn't actually work that is only a remote shutter switch i have a to camera to and use that cord for my videos and it wont work i have bought more then 1 cord and tried it but it dosnt work

@@SalFlores77 I have T1 or Canon 500D and Im trying to adapt some mic on it, but Im bit affraid to do not work. Probably it will capt both audio, internal and external. I will use an external audio recorder and then sinc with the video, deleting the audio the the cam had recorded, I think thats the better way for while.

Canon are very greedy and people should stop wasting their money on cameras that cost a fortune and don't even have the basic needs like the mic input, if you want a camera with an input jack you will need to pay twice or three times as much, it is ridiculous, this is sheer greed and people the more expensive it is, the more people flock to buy it, it's unfortunate, if people stop from buying them for one year Canon will begging you to buy them.
