Squale was a case maker. They supplied their cases to watchmakers such as Sinn, Doxa, and Blancpain. I need you to look for pictures of the vintage models of Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. The logo of Blancpain is on the top, and the logo of Squale, the case maker, is on the bottom. Like Intel inside.

I was looking at this on Long Island Watch and happened to see your review. Love the ones with the red, the blue, and the green dials. I have been looking at dive watches and, like you, have a small wrist, so many are too large. This one looks very nice. Enjoyed the review greatly.

I was going to buy a Rado Captain Cook until I saw this one for half the price. They look VERY similar. Great review! As someone else suggested, try the timegrapher at 50 degrees and see if that makes a difference!
My watch runs +16/day.I like mine, but I do not believe it was regulated at all, despite being advertised as being regulated in 5 positions by Long Island Watch.

@@caustic_man6296 I keep hoping to see more “real life” pictures of the fumoso as it kind of looks like the Squale logo fades into the dial. Not sure if that’s just the angle of the stock photos, but it’s something I’d like to confirm before ordering.

Almost bought it, but the printed dial, fautima and logo/squale by squale held me back. I like the bezel, the case, and proportions. It's a nice watch but that dial just does not work for me.

You are correct about the lack of accuracy. This movement is supposed to be the elabore grade of the SW-200. Pretty disappointing! I also agree with your thoughts on the date window.........Can we please just get rid of the dates entirely???? They only detract from the appearance of an otherwise beautiful dial (Yes! I am looking at you Orient.). Does a diver really need a date window?? Unless you are going to match the date window with the dial, why bother?
Seems like they cut corners with that bezel insert. That’s a deal breaker for me unfortunately. I actually wear my watches and wear them hard as a first responder.

You used a lift angle of 52 on the timegrapher. I’ve always used 50 with a Sw200. Could that make a difference in your reading?

The fumoso would have been my second choice. I’m just a black dial kind of guy, but I wouldn’t have been disappointed with the fumoso I think.

@@damionberv5074 you might check their return policy. You could always send it back if it looks dumb.
These movements haven't been regulated. To me this is a standard grade SW200-1, regulated to two positions at the factory.
That’s interesting. Certainly doesn’t seem highly regulated to me either. A bit disappointing.

U had the lift angle wrong its 50 degrees this could be why your getting 13 seconds fast its probably running a bit better than that... just an idea😀
