50skid, I CANNOT thank you enough for putting this video together. It was SUPER helpful with instructions on how to change the pump. I went ahead and did it tonight... Man those fittings easy to take off but theyre super hard to thread back on, i almost stripped one of the lines..
Also the NCS expert procedure didnt code the vin to my car... I tried and tried following the exact steps you did, but it wouldnt write the vin. I found these instructions that did work for me: When playing with DSC it is almost always necessary to recalibrate steering angle sensor. I do this with tool32. - launch tool32 - choose "load SGBD" - browse to DSC_87.PRG or whatever yours is. - select job "lenkwinkel dsc abgleichen" - double click this and it will take around 3 seconds to complete - job done
First, thanks for all you do for this community. Your videos are unparalleled. My son bought an E46 325i, and I've spent the last month meticulously watching your videos. I cannot overstate how helpful they have been. So far I've used your videos to do the following: - rebuild parking brakes - diagnose trifecta - replace VC gasket - replace OFH gasket - replace all pulleys and belts - replace water pump - replace cooling system components - replace CCV system - replace starter - replace manifold gaskets - rebuild DISA valve - replace oil pan gasket - replace ABS/DSC module I will be getting everything zipped back up this weekend. Now I am on a quest to find a laptop to run Win XP so I can bleed the new ABS module and code the VIN. Question - I assume it's ok to start the car back up prior to bleeding/coding the ABS module? Just want to make sure everything is running ok after all that work. I'm guessing it will throw codes, but I can always clear them. Thanks again.
After a month of work, car started right up and runs like a champ. Trifecta is reduced to two amber lights - DSC/Brake. Of course, that's because LWS calibration. Went into INPA, and there was the Shift-F4 option for Compensation Routines. Quickly checked errors, "VIN not initialized" error was present. Went back, and Shift-F4 option IS GONE! Can't get it back no matter what I do. Went into F6-Activate, where there is a "Compensation Routines" option, but there is no "Steering Angle Initialization" option, only the other two - "Pressure Sensors" and "Lateral Acceleration". I'm sooooooo close, and it's mocking me. Any ideas? I already reinstalled Win XP to delete all my old INPA stuff, and reinstalled a [slightly] newer version of the software. Same result - no Shift-F4 option, and no "Steering Angle Initialization" option. Thanks again - your videos are fantastic.
Ok, update. I took the car to the dealer and they claimed they could not reset the steering angle sensor with their software. I then downloaded Mike's EasyBMWTools which comes with INPA 5.0 - MUCH easier install. Got the link for it here: www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1023698. Installed it on my Windows 10 pro machine. Bingo - there was the shift-F4 option. Done. I am now back on the road, and trifecta is gone. Thanks for your awesome videos!
I have this issue now on my E46 328CI (2000), for now i still dont the the ASC part and the tools for Coding but will definiltely get them. Just wanted to thank you and let you know that I appreciate your efforts. this is not the 1st time that your vlog has helped me & countless other e46 lovers for sure. Looking forward that my car issue will be solved following your vlog.
Hey Kid I watch your videos all the time from Mexico, for me each video is like a soap opera always waiting for a great ending. I am learning a lot form your videos, 6 months with my 330ci and no mechanic had touched my car yet ...Gracias amigo
@@50sKid you have great videos that have helped me with my 325i. I did the DSC replacement and pressure bled the brakes but the pedal still goes all the way to the floor. Guess I'll have to redo the bleeding. I bought the cable and loaded the software but the instructions don't include setting up the NSC Expert. Any guidance would be appreciated. My email is laserguy642@yahoo.com. Thanks
Your brake disks are looking in tip top shape. These cars have just the most amazing braking. A pair of super sports in the summer and it feels like your eyes are going to hit the windshield.

Thank you soooooo much. The NCS run through was spot on, and fixed my DSC problem. This is not the first helpful video that you’ve made for me personally...keep up the good work!!!
I've noticed since I started playing around with European cars that they use brake fittings with 11mm hex drives, a LOT! In fact between one Mercedes, a BMW, an Audi, and two Porsches, they have that size wrenching throughout them, from their master cylinders to calipers.
I am a subscriber and I really enjoy this channel. U approach new stuff with a can do attitude and help us along the way. I will watch again, but I am a little confused on the set-up u used for the scan tool. Great job!!!!!
Sorry Bill, I realize now that it can seem a little confusing because I went and switched scan tools part way through the video. I should have inserted a scene where I mentioned this and showed you which scan tool I had switched to. For the record, I switched to an K+DCAN cable with INPA software (it comes with the cable). There are links in the description.
Thank you 50sKid. I followed you video instructions to the tee. As I have virtually the same car as you and it work out perfectly for me too. Keep up the great videos.
The only lights are on, on my 02 330ci is the DSC and the brake light not the ABS light. could this be a sign of faulty speed sensor? And also my DSC button doesn't work I tried holding the button down for 10 sec trying to reset it but nothing happened. Any thoughts on my situation.
Hey man thanks for the great videos, they are extremely informative and concise. I have a similar issue but only emergency brake and DSC light turn on. ABS light stays off. The scary thing is that if I don't turn off traction control (holding for 5 seconds) before I drive (ie sitting int he driveway or parking lot), after driving and hitting about 10mph, the DSC unit will audibly cycle and my brake pedal automatically pumps itself and the brake calipers. This can be scary as I lose all control of the brakes until I try to turn off traction control. The brakes intermittently pump and the vehicle is slightly slowing down in pulses. Turning off the traction control while the DSC is cycling and throwing a fit (while the car is moving) proves to be difficult. It will show both DSC and emergency brake light as if traction control completely turned off but then the vehicle will then turn off the DSC and emergency brake light and start pumping again. The only light that flashes while this issue is occuring (DSC audibly cycling + brake control loss) is the DSC light itself. If you have any input that would be great. Im tired of turning off my traction control before every drive. I appreciate any ideas of why my E46 is exhibiting these issues.
You really need to get INPA and read the error codes in the DSC module to give you some direction. But if you want to guess, replacing all 4 speed sensors would be a great start.
Everyone says that when replacing the A. B. S control module that it needs to be reprogrammed. However, I purchased an ABS control model used with the exact same numbers as my old module. And that fixed my ABS and I did not have to reprogram thoughts on that, please.
I think I have a bad dsc on a 2002 330i. I have a foxwell code reader which show a 5df5 error code. The dash has 3 lights, DSC, ABS and Brake. I drove it watching the speed sensors and they all tracked within 1 of each other. Most of the time all four read the same number. Sould I check anything else before buying a used DSC? The code reader shows it as an MK60.... I have appreciated your videos and expertise for several years now and thank you in advance for any advice you might have for me..
Hey 50’ kid thanks for the video, like 4 years later, try a z4 much easier to work on ,I’ve recently a 005e20 fault on my Carly code reader which is the pressure sensor you showed, would you say there’s not really a way of testing them for faults before replacing?
to drain easily the brake master you can use a 1 inch diameter syringe put a short or 6 inch long 1/4diameter hose and suck up the braké fluid in the resevoir you can suck up brake fluid easily
I have the same problem. I noticed the lack of 10V voltage Uref (in Inpa). As soon as the tension disappears appear DCS control failure. Tomorrow remove the pump. Thanks for the video (all your movies are helpful).
hi please help me i am in the same situation whit the lights on the dash... also replaced all abs sensors because it needet and now it shows abs pump i use a delfi 2013 diagnostik tool ... is it posible my problem to be that presure sensor? my car is e46 99 whit ASC sorry for my bad english and thanks
I have an 02 325xi. I had a headlight go out (drivers side) and immediately had the trifecta with the red brake light and my gages all went to the max. I was able to reset my gages and when I start the car every thing is normal and no lights. If I turn the headlights on, I get the trifecta with the red brake light. If I leave the lights off and press the brake, I get the all yellow trifecta. I’m currently waiting for the bulbs I ordered to get here so I can put a new bulb in. Hopefully somehow that is what is triggering my trifecta, but that being said, do you think that’s possibly the main cause? Literally nothing was wrong until that bulb went out….
This video is excellent! I have an 2001 E46 M3 with the same problem, do you think that i might select on NCSexpert the MK60 too, and then at INPA the DSC 5.7 option after the model name selection?
Kid_Man: Great video, gave my son and I confidence to tackle this project. The unit is out, which is exactly same part # for the one you pulled, any suggestions on where I can get this rebuilt? Please advise, thanks!
50's Kid. Which video do I need to figure out why my ABS slightly engages and throws a code on the dash. I also need a lead on which reader or cable do I need to begin to discover what is going on with the car. Can worn front end parts be to blame. It seems that the problem may begin when we hit a small bump in the road. car is a 2001 BMW 325 CIC. Thank you in advance.
Struggling with the coding on mine, when I select akmb or ews they show completely different vins to eachother, I know the vin when read using ista doesn't match chassis as I think ECU was replaced (says sportwagon when car is coupe) EWS brings up the correct code but the process won't complete, it comes up with coding index is not permitted
Do you have to bleed the brakes if you just quickly change the DSC Pressure sensors without completely or near completely emptying the brake reservoir? Thanks!
why did you replace your abs and dsc ? Was your dsc light always on? i have problem with my E46 316i it has ASC not dsc. My light is always on on diagnostic its saying: 93 ASC: CAN Data Fault From DME/DDE I tryed to find problem on every possible site/forum and cant find the solution. Some1 said replace tps sensor and that solved problem, i tryed that and i have still same problem. i also have error with tps sensor. When i enter on inpa to check the TPS its showing vaule of !100.39, and when i press my gas value doesnt even move its stay the same. I checked my TPS and its functional. Realy i dont know what should i do next.
Hey 50kids, I have a case where one of my abs line to the front right is in close position not allowing fluid to flow to the caliper. Should I replace the unit or if there is a way to open the valve?
Hi. My car is a 325i 2003. When I go on a bad road. The car activates three yellow lights; the EML, the triangle and the brake. The car begins to fail and does not accelerate. Could you give me your opinion? Thank you.
Two question and 1 comment. Q1: Once in inpa mk60 module, the steering wheel calibration was only 1 of 3 things to be set. What about the other two? (I think one is pressure, another is lateral acceleration. ) Q2: I have an E39. I could not find any "compensation option" like this under chassis for the DSC module. Which version of INPA are you using? I think the E46 is similar, so I tried to use it but it would not allow. Comment: Under chassis, it says steering wheel sensor, but you never need to go there, ironically.
Next time you hit the junk yard, cut those connectors from a junk car. That way you can just plug those in to test the modules the next time without having to unscrew them. Just make sure to test the harness connectors you get from the junk car first to verify they are good.
Thank you for publishing this great video. Quick question - I have a 2000 323i, and it looks like my DSC unit is on the passenger’s side of the car, not on the driver’s side like yours. I’m assuming it is the same one but perhaps BMW changed the location later on? Thank you!
For the people who dont have NCS Expert and INPA, you can remove the electronic part from the metalic housing of the DSC unit. I'm not sure if you will need to replace the whole thing if you have the "Internal foult" error. But if you have an internall pressure sensor error you dont need to replace the electronic part of the DSC unit. You can unscrew the electronics from the unit with som hex bolts i think. You also dont need INPA to bleed the brakes, atleast i didt. Do keep in mind that this was on my E90. Just ask if you need more help.
i also have a code for the brake pressure sensor like u did do I just buy a new one I have the internal fault code but wouldn't see why both would have failed at the same time or is this a common issue thanks 50
I suggest reading the fault codes with a BMW code scanner first to find the real problem. The DSC lights also come on if you have a bad wheel speed sensor.
50sKid yeah I had a bit of a battle but its done as per you're coding the vin in ncs expert inpa would not calibrate the steering angle sensor failed every time bought ista d off eBay all done no lights on . thanks for your input and your great video, s
Hey great videos! Can you please help me? I got a 325ci 2002 and Just replace the dsc module and when I just turn que car On the 3 lights turn off (brake, abs, dsc) but after 10 min running they turn back On, and so on, just put the same code one and reprogram, but keeps happening, Please help me!
I'm looking for a solution for my E46 330i EV51. I found part no for my 330i, but there's no cheap options but there were lots of same look and part no. in Ebay. Is that okay If I use similar part or not?
hello friend i know has been a lot of yerar hope you can help me, i have replaced the abs unit from one second hand, the abs and hand brake red go away, but, always a but, hahaha the triangle stays on , have the errors 5e1f . 5e21 . 5e20 . 5e1e . 5d8c. same as you!! mi car has ASC button so, in some place i read that the mk60 dont have angle sensor, can you confirm that? the pa soft dont recognize the angle sensorand inpa etheir, so i dont know if my car should have or not angle sensor. my car was replaced the cluster and the LCM , this two parts are matched with a vin mumber that dont match the original vin car as well, my question its,in this case witch VIN number have to has the abs module? because the pa soft bmw1.4 scanner can write the vin in the abs module, but witch vin have to has to erase this error, thanks a lot, my car comes with a lot of prombles, because has various modules of other cars, bmw 2002 e46 318i 4 cyl N42B20 i will be very happy for your help
Hey 50s Kid.. What if only my DSC light is on? What i did before that light came up was change my speedometer. I programed it but the DSC light stays on.. Im super lost!
50skid, I just subscribed to your channel! Love the videos! Very helpful! I just bought my first BMW. I’m currently having issues with this ABS / brake light on. I changed all four speed sensors but the lights still come on! Took it to a mechanic and told me it’s the abs module and very pricey!!! Is this part expensive? Thanks in advance!! 2002 325i
I have two questions: if the blocks are the same but the numbers do not match, will it? I have exactly the same number as you, where you bought a skate?
Great video! Question on the part. I have been searching for a used DSC control module. Most of the units found on ebay got the right part number 34.51-6759045, but the last 12 digits are different. For instance my is 10.0206-0002.3 and most of the item on ebays are 10.0206-0026.4. Are they the same part?
Kid, Hello! I have a unique problem, namely my speedometer is flat - does not move from below ZERO. I've checked everything: continuity between ABS Module and cluster, (checked cluster on another car and speedo works fine) back wheel senders. There are no fault lights on or codes on the cluster, and all functions of cluster work except for the ones connected with Speedo: odometer, mpg needle, and cruise control. So I presume the ABS module is bad. I've checked your video where a module from wrecked did the trick; I can install another module per your directions, but am totally insecure about the recoding. So, question: where are you located and would you be available to recode my module if I were to replace and bring car to you?? Or?? Thanks! I don't mind not having a speedometer, but not having cruise is a pain!!!
Hey whats up Justin glad your back! Listen, my traction control activates for no reason, just cruising down i5 dry roads and bam it starts then the triangle and brake lights light up no abs light though then when I turn the car off it will.do.it again domestics not.for days sometimes right away, now the triangle and brake light stays on I replaced all of the speed sensors and it didn't do anything. Any ideas? Is there anything else I should be looking at before I go after that dsc unit? Thanks dude
Help! I'm trying to decode problems with mt DSC and am having a problem with INPA. When I get to the window in INPA that is supposed to have the "SHIFT F4 Compensation routines" it is missing. Can you give me some advice?
First, I watched most of your e46 video. Very very informative and detail. Thank you for taking the time to make the video and sharing it. I am having problem with my 01' 325it with automatic. I am preparing to replace my abs module and waiting for the used part to come in. I bought the cable a while back but having trouble installing it. My question is if I don't code the module after install, what will happen? Will the abs still function? Any tips how to install the inpa?
If you don't code the module the dsc will not function. I'm not sure if the abs part of it will still function (the difference being the abs only works when you slam on the brakes, but the dsc works when your wheel loses traction). I don't have any tips for INPA, you just install it.
Further question. I did successfully replace the ABS module. Thanks for your instruction video. I watched 10 times before I started the work. I haven't bleed the brake yet. I tried to pump the brake pedal, it went all the way to the floor. I pumped many times, it still went down the floor. Is it because I must bleed the ABS module(pump) with inpa before I can get the pressure back?
Hello 50skid I installed everything and when opened and tried to code the mk60 module its says coding active and gives me 4 error codes basically saying the module isnt reading or responding any ideas on what it could be ?
Update, i was able to adjust the steering angle with Tool32 aka Toolset32, you load up your dsc/asc .prg file and run the lenkwinkelsensor job, and btw even if you dont have the steering angle sensor you steel need to do this.
Hi again. Lately the DSC light goes on my dashboard ( yellow in color in the very center. ) on my 328-2000 with the M52TU. ( no other lights go on.) But some times goes off. Some times stays on. Pressing the DSC button below doesn't put it off. If I buy a new DSC unit at BMW. Does the dealer needs to reprogram the DSC unit for my car.??? Or removing the old DSC in the car now. Where do I sent it to be repaired.? Which is better for me to do.? Thank you. So much.
+Tonio Castro this video literally contains all the knowledge you need to answer your own questions. Did you watch the whole thing? I replaced my unit with another and reprogrammed it all in this video with inexpensive hardware $20 and software (free if you look for it)
Hey, Thanks a lot for all of your videos! They have helped me a bunch. Quick question..Is it ok to remove the brake reservoir from the master cylinder? I am installing the module and I am having trouble trying to get one damn brake line left to screw in and it would be so much easier if i could remove the reservoir. Thanks again!
Hi I have a 2004 BMW 325i and I removed the cluster to replace gauge rings and when I plugged it back in the DSC AND YELLOW BRAKE light comes on how can I fix it because they weren't on before I removed cluster..any advice thanks
I have 2002 BMW 530i. The dashboard lights up the abs warning together with the dsc and brake indicator lights. they come on and off. When it's on, the OBD2 scanner indicates that the pressure sensor is plausible. There's a wierd sound when I apply my brake..I can feel the pedal vibrate ..GRRRRGGG like grumbling sound. I'm sure it's not the brake pads grinding. Do you think there's a connection between a bad pressure sensor and brake wierd sound?
You need to read the codes with something other than an OBD2 reader. There must be some other errors stored. I doubt that the pressure sensor implausible code is enough to cause physical symptoms--I've had that error pop up before and not cause the system to malfunction.
I have a 2000 bmw 528i and my speedometer will not work when those 3 lights are on , when I start the car and drive the speedometer works but about one minute later it stops working when those 3 light go on .
I have the same problem it started while driving in the rain I still haven't find out why, I was hoping maybe you found the problem and share it please
Hi 50,s kid i have 5da3 code front right wheel speed sensor do u know the meaning of this code as it self checks fine only when i start driving it sets all lights or disconnected the sensor i have changed the sensor code does this sound to u a abs ring problem thank u

Thanks for video. From Australia
I have a question, what type scanner would i need on my 2002 bmw x5? you are very good teacher
Wow, it's something complicated, congratulations.
It's necessary to run inpa to coding DSC? Or you only to run for calibrate the angle sensor wheel?
How do you get those pages or files or documents or w.e you wanna call them on your laptop wat do I do to get that and can I use any laptop
Great informative and detailed video. Your videos are very professional and you provided detailed like pro. Thanks
hi please help me i am in the same situation whit the lights on the dash...
also replaced all abs sensors because it needet and now it shows abs pump
i use a delfi 2013 diagnostik tool ...
is it posible my problem to be that presure sensor? my car is e46 99 whit ASC sorry for my bad english and thanks
Code 5E20 and 5E21 is for the pressure sensors inside the hydro unit and not those attached to the break cylinder.
Was that a new DSC module or a used one? If new do you know if the used ones can be re-programmed?
Used
I have an 02 325xi.
Thanks for this great DIY as usual. Does the replacement of the sensors introduce air in the brake circuit ? Thank you
Thank you man I coding my abs thank you so much
i once got those 3 lights on my e46, but it was just the brake fluid that was low.
What if my brake fluid is not low ?
@@wildhunt2235 Read the codes with a diagnostic tool then
This video is excellent!
Hey 50skid can you make a video about Steering Wheel angle sensor please.
I have the dsc light on and the break only. Do you think that it may be the same issue?
Do you have to bleed the brakes if you just quickly change the DSC Pressure sensors without completely or near completely emptying the brake reservoir? Thanks!
why did you replace your abs and dsc ? Was your dsc light always on?
i have problem with my E46 316i it has ASC not dsc.
My light is always on on diagnostic its saying: 93 ASC: CAN Data Fault From DME/DDE
I tryed to find problem on every possible site/forum and cant find the solution.
Hay 50skid is there a scan tool that can recode the abs module
Hey 50kids, I have a case where one of my abs line to the front right is in close position not allowing fluid to flow to the caliper. Should I replace the unit or if there is a way to open the valve?
2:21
Bmw scanner 1.4
This is trade name?
What were you experiencing for you to know to change the ABS module?
(I think one is pressure, another is lateral acceleration. )
Q2: I have an E39. I could not find any "compensation option" like this under chassis for the DSC module. Which version of INPA are you using? I think the E46 is similar, so I tried to use it but it would not allow.
Comment: Under chassis, it says steering wheel sensor, but you never need to go there, ironically.
thanks for the really good video .. but .. DID YOU CHANGE THE VIN CODE in the new (replacement) unit, or just not show it in the video? .
yes I did 5e19 5df5 from inpa after watching your video seems the abs pump when failed cause,s lots of codes
Next time you hit the junk yard, cut those connectors from a junk car. That way you can just plug those in to test the modules the next time without having to unscrew them. Just make sure to test the harness connectors you get from the junk car first to verify they are good.
Hey kid thanks for the info I have a 528i 98 my abs module need to be replace is the old ones help
I’m trying to code my new dsc unit.. you mention yours was mk60 I believe... how would I find out what mine would be ? On bmw e60 m5.
Will the DSC put the car into limp mode?
very good video, how can you replace a wheel sensor speed on bmw 330?
Hello, great video that helped me a lot, thank you.
Hi!
Any way to take out the black plastic part of the ASC unit without taking everything off?
😢
Yes, it's possible, but a real pain to do (see ua-cam.com/video/5K2nx-2R7OE/v-deo.html).
If I replace dsc unit, do I need to reprogram it?
Thank you for publishing this great video. Quick question - I have a 2000 323i, and it looks like my DSC unit is on the passenger’s side of the car, not on the driver’s side like yours. I’m assuming it is the same one but perhaps BMW changed the location later on? Thank you!
I watch transmission replace very helpful thank
For the people who dont have NCS Expert and INPA, you can remove the electronic part from the metalic housing of the DSC unit. I'm not sure if you will need to replace the whole thing if you have the "Internal foult" error. But if you have an internall pressure sensor error you dont need to replace the electronic part of the DSC unit. You can unscrew the electronics from the unit with som hex bolts i think. You also dont need INPA to bleed the brakes, atleast i didt. Do keep in mind that this was on my E90. Just ask if you need more help.
Could you please tell me what programs & scanner you are using. As I’m struggling to get them to work on 2002 e46 330ci
The akmb is for newer fa code cars. The kmb and ews are for zcs. "Has a "a" first it's fa"
i also have a code for the brake pressure sensor like u did do I just buy a new one I have the internal fault code but wouldn't see why both would have failed at the same time or is this a common issue thanks 50
I found part no for my 330i, but there's no cheap options but there were lots of same look and part no. in Ebay. Is that okay If I use similar part or not?
stumbled across your channel, seen the quality work/videos. subscribed !
hello friend i know has been a lot of yerar hope you can help me, i have replaced the abs unit from one second hand, the abs and hand brake red go away, but, always a but, hahaha the triangle stays on , have the errors 5e1f . 5e21 . 5e20 . 5e1e . 5d8c. same as you!! mi car has ASC button so, in some place i read that the mk60 dont have angle sensor, can you confirm that? the pa soft dont recognize the angle sensorand inpa etheir, so i dont know if my car should have or not angle sensor. my car was replaced the cluster and the LCM , this two parts are matched with a vin mumber that dont match the original vin car as well, my question its,in this case witch VIN number have to has the abs module? because the pa soft bmw1.4 scanner can write the vin in the abs module, but witch vin have to has to erase this error, thanks a lot, my car comes with a lot of prombles, because has various modules of other cars, bmw 2002 e46 318i 4 cyl N42B20 i will be very happy for your help
you are the best thanks i fixe my car you video it help my for fixed my car you are best
2002 325i
Yeah it is but you can find a used one and code it like I did in this video
How can you tell wat hoses go to which hole my 2001 e46 325i has 6 an I have no clue
Hey whats up Justin glad your back! Listen, my traction control activates for no reason, just cruising down i5 dry roads and bam it starts then the triangle and brake lights light up no abs light though then when I turn the car off it will.do.it again domestics not.for days sometimes right away, now the triangle and brake light stays on
I replaced all of the speed sensors and it didn't do anything. Any ideas? Is there anything else I should be looking at before I go after that dsc unit? Thanks dude
Hey, great video. Does the number on the new modules has to be the same as on previous one?
Yes absolutely
Hi friend .... On PAsoft 1.4 you cannot programme DSC module? and Injector coding also.. Please reply I want to purchase
Where did you get the DSC unit? Where would you recommend I could get one and what to watch out for?
Help! I'm trying to decode problems with mt DSC and am having a problem with INPA. When I get to the window in INPA that is supposed to have the "SHIFT F4 Compensation routines" it is missing. Can you give me some advice?
hello friendo have the same situation, in my inpa dont show the shift 4 option do you resolve it?
Question for you what is p0604 or bmw code 64 and how do I fix it
Would the coding software be able to code a instrument cluster as well?
Love your videos! Always informative :)
Hello 50skid I installed everything and when opened and tried to code the mk60 module its says coding active and gives me 4 error codes basically saying the module isnt reading or responding any ideas on what it could be ?
What are some issues you've had after installing a "new" DSC model?
When i press shift on the DSC screen, i have no option there to then code the steering angle sensor. It's just a blank box? any help?
I’m having the same problem, from what I read online i think we need to install an earlier version of INPA, im going to try to install it next.
Absolutely
What are common symptoms? My dsc light is on as long as the yellow break light. And I have cleaned all 4 wheels sensors. Thanks
You have to use a bmw scan tool to figure out what is wrong--it could be anything.
Hi I have a 2004 BMW 325i and I removed the cluster to replace gauge rings and when I plugged it back in the DSC AND YELLOW BRAKE light comes on how can I fix it because they weren't on before I removed cluster..any advice thanks
Get a bmw scan tool (i have a video for that) to read/clear the errors
will you make a video of the back bearing on the subframe
I have a 2000 bmw 528i and my speedometer will not work when those 3 lights are on , when I start the car and drive the speedometer works but about one minute later it stops working when those 3 light go on .
agero redfish check the speed sensor on your rear wheels, have you have any work done around there recently?
I have the same problem it started while driving in the rain I still haven't find out why, I was hoping maybe you found the problem and share it please
left rear speed sensor is connected to the speedo
Hi 50,s kid i have 5da3 code front right wheel speed sensor do u know the meaning of this code as it self checks fine only when i start driving it sets all lights or disconnected the sensor i have changed the sensor code does this sound to u a abs ring problem thank u
I replaced the DSC. I have q Maximus 2.0 Matco Tools and I can't figure out how to code the DSC. I have already done the bleeding.
My lights have been on for 8 years and no difference in driving the car.
