I’m a mix of them all. My dog is my hairy child, best friend and adventure partner. I bake him dog birthday cakes and make him his own Christmas dinner etc although I know this is for my own gratification. He’s off the lead as long as it’s safe and I take him on outdoor adventures with me and play mentally stimulating games with him.

#3. My working dogs (MalinoisxAnatolian) and Border collies Pyrenees are w/me 24/7. They have jobs and we are a team. I trust them and they trust and respect me. They also sleep w/me!
I am dog parent. They allow me some freedom to go out every once and while. But they know who is in charge. Psst it is not me. I do draw the line at giving them birthday cakes hahaha And training is definitely inconsistent. Morty the Cavalier is escape risk I dont let Riley off leash not that he would go anywhere he brings new meaning to velcro
