There'd be a lot fewer problems in BG if kids were toking instead of drinking. (Edit: by "kids" i mean BGSU students, who are 18+ im old ok.) More herb, less alcohol sales. Im sure bar owners don't want to see legal weed in town.
Censorship is just plain wrong and UnAmerican. Here is what they don't want the public to be able to read, again: Legalize cannabis federally within each and every state. This way, irrational politicians can't obstruct and prevent legalization against the will of the vast majority of Americans whom support full federal cannabis legalization nationwide. Treat cannabis exactly like we treat far more dangerous and deadly yet perfectly legal alcohol. Legal in all states.
Once you open the door to legalization, all methods and options to ban retail sales or add sales tax have a net positive effect on illicit market growth. Which state has the biggest demand for the herb? California. They also happen to have the biggest illicit market in the country. And yet 60% of towns and cities there prohibit legal sales. So any time a council member says they want their town to opt-out on legalizing sales to protect children or the community, it's the equivalent of saying I want to fund the cartel.🌿

Cannabis should be just as legal and easy to obtain anywhere as alcohol currently is. In every single state. No exceptions. It's so easy: As legal and easy to obtain/use as alcohol currently is. Why hold relatively benign, often healing cannabis to any sort of irrational, stricter double standard than perfectly legal alcohol?
