Hiii! Im going into 8th grade but I would have to apply to the highschool in November… I have the choice of a AP highschool and a IB highschool . Let’s say I wanna do bio engineering in MIT… which would be better for me?
Oh no I’m sorry I’m late 😭 I can’t advise you based on MIT admissions but I would personally choose IB. As long as you’re taking challenging and diverse classes at whatever school you end up attending, I think you’ll be good! Let me know if I can help further!

Are you an international student in an English speaking country? If that’s the case I definitely think it would be a challenge but could still be doable. I think it would depend on how accommodating your school is with language learning. I would still recommend trying IB but talk to your counselor/advisor and teachers first to make sure it will be doable! Overall it was an enriching experience that I do recommend. Hi I go to an IB school and to be honest I am in front of other ppl because like I use to go to a Cambridge school so IB is pretty different

you are not dumb. these are difficult programs but you could definitely do it if you put in the effort!
