    Your garden does look tidy during the winter and even better at night.
    🍂🍁Happy gardening, Terry King.

      Typically we have a layer of snow by now which makes everything pretty..... Not complaining though. Woke up to 4f/-15.5c 🥶degrees. That's even cold for a Chicagoland gal.

    Oh that lake house view is just so wonderful.
    Nice trick to open the garlic. Must remember that for next year.
    I just thinking how much I liked your orange jacket … 😂 🎯 😂
    Isn’t it amazing how quickly the gardens change for winter. Your beds are so pretty that they still look attractive even when empty.
    The leeks look ok. Nifty cold frame.
    How cute to repurpose the frame as a Christmas decoration. The bow is gorgeous and the lights look lovely.
    Shed Tetris.. definitely a blue job. Well done Al. 😂
    Enjoyed watching the live with you all last week. Learned so much.
    Take care ❤

    Hi Robin and Al. Your garden has definitely slowed down, strange to see the difference. It's nice with some colourful lights though. That was very well done in the shed, gargoyles all lined up and everything in order. Playing tetris sounds a lot more fun than organizing ☺

      Well we tarped some stuff on the patio this year. The furniture is very old now and if it fails over the winter we'll replace it. We've talked about a new larger shed, but so far we've not found the one we really want. 🥰
      Al also added some lights on the bar pergola. It looks so festive from the house.🥰

    Loved the live Robin with you. Was great to see what each of us preferred to use for preserving ❤ and gave us great ideas to try new things!!

    Cute cold frame. I’m so jelly and you are so lucky that your husband organizes-we are like the show The Odd Couple 😂.

      He's a keeper for sure.
      We need a new shed badly. More space, plus she is about 40 yrs old and needs an upgrade. Oddly enough, we've found several we like in WI, but they don't deliver down by me.🥰

    You have a great garden layout 👍🙏👌😁

      TY Nick, I have really enjoyed it. It mostly just evolves. Those stone beds were a huge splurge, but I don't regret one penny. So easy to sit on the edge to do things.
      We are replacing the cinder block beds with birdie's beds next year. Al has wanted to upgrade that space for awhile. I'm thinking we'll be making several trips for the free wood chip to fill the bottoms.🥰

    Your garden is so neat and tidy mine is like a bomb site after the storm's we've had

      @RobinGardens  9 днів тому

      Oh my, so sorry to hear that the storms were rough for you. Hope damage wasn't too bad.
      It's a full stop here for winter. I'm really in need of growing something....but as I'm hosting Christmas festivities it will have to wait until after that.
      🌲🎅🥳

    Hi Robin 😊
    Beautiful shots ❤ oooh I couldn’t get any hard neck, all sold out here. I did manage to find some black garlic and a smoked garlic ❤ I love them! N
    I saw cavolo nero for £7.99! per kg!! The prices are crazy 🤪

    • @RobinGardens
      @RobinGardens  10 днів тому

      WOWZERS. That's rather high for something that is common. Don't mind popping for a high price if it's special.

    Wouldn’t it be great if we didn’t have to worry about squirrels 🐿️ and rabbits 🐰. But it does looks so neat and tidy. Was it on purpose the clip shows you upside down 🙃🙃. Have a marvellous day guys stay warm, Ali 🥶🌞🇨🇦

      He'd be there in a heartbeat. Any excuse to travel the UK. We've actually thought about a trip in 2025. We'll see.
