Everyone arguing about "Eros EDP is better!!! Noooo Flame is better!!! Nooo i prefer the old EDT". Guys, Versace just created 3 masterpieces (4 if we consider the "Parfum" version also), just buy your favourite, girls really love these fragrances and it's the most important part. Personally, i bought both EDP and Flame and i switch perfume based on my mood, i really like both of them. 200 ml each other of course 😂

Sprayed on a ton of Guess 1981 Los Angeles tonight so this is a nice coincidence! Really does have the Eros vibe but without the piercing sparkle. Kind of like an Eros "Mellow".

Ashley li love her taste, I smelt the OG was good but I really enjoyed the scent of flame 🔥 🔥.
Eros EDT very strong and attention grabbing and while its not offensive in any way for me it gets tired fairly quickly, definitely not a good pick for signature scent more so for clubbing once in a while (when things get back to normal). I would rate it high for its uniqueness that is why its still going strong in 2020, everyone should experience it at least once.
That girl she doesn't know anything, because the EDT is the king of all Versace line and most people die for the smell

@@garywashington6757 same situations as Eros. Only difference is the opening. Do you want apple mint vanilla or Orange vanilla, very similar drydowns. Both fall/winters. I don’t mind flame at all, but it just comes down to what opening you like better :)
I'm with both of them with Flame being better. Also with Ashley I don't like the opening of the edt (in fairness have not tried edp yet so just comparing og vs flame). I was going to skip edp but if the mint is toned down and the apple up a little I might consider it

Eros EDP all the way. 200ml bottle for 100 or so on fragrancenet when on sale is a good bang for buck and is more sophisticated than the edt and has more character than Flame.
I smelled Eros Flame and loved it. I need to buy a full bottle.

Flame for me I have to agree with Alana the opening its very middle of the road, nice, hard to pick out or describe, nothing pops out enough to really be notable.

They do smell different but you would use them for the same situations. So it really just depends if you love it or not.

I am looking for a signature frag out of these 3, just for college and everyday life (part-time work in retail) etc, but not necessarily clubbing.
Which one would be your go to?
They are all a little on the sweet side for a year round signature as they don’t work in summer at all. Probably Eros EDP or Flame. Basically which ever you like the opening of more.

Honestly they are basically the same to us. I’m wearing the EDP right now, but I could easily switch it to the edt and I wouldn’t really notice much of a difference as they are like 90-95% the same. With the prices right now, it makes the most sense to get the EDT as you can get it for like half off online, where the EDP isn’t on discounters.
Is there a difference between the EDP and EDT scent wise? I’ve never heard anyone describe Eros as floral either I could be wrong but does it have any floral notes?
It does have geranium in it. The edp and the edt have slight smell differences but still smell like “Eros”. Edt is slightly fresher, edp is slightly denser. If you ever have questions on the notes, we always put them in the descriptions ☺️

Now since it’s 2023 , and reformulations has occurred , which Versace euro better ?EDP or EDT (preferably more versatile for everyday )
Reformulations aren’t something to worry or stress about. They still smell like Eros. Neither work well in the warmer months, but if you’re choosing between the two, I like the EDP smell a touch more just because it’s smoother, but still think it’s best to go with best price value. If you can get the EDP within $10 of the edt, get that one. If the gap is wider, save some money.

I have the exact same taste with Ashley when it comes to Eros fragrances! 😁 Eros Flame smells good, but I don't like the smell of Eros EDT at all. Somehow it smells very synthetic to me 😬 Eros EDP is definitely an improvement, but the scent profile still isn't my favorite...

Edp if they are the same price. If you only wear Eros, get the edt 200ml though. If you were many, go with the smaller edp bottle
EDT. The EDP smells almost exactly the same but doesn't really project at all after an hour. Maybe it smells smoother and more refined but people won't smell it on you.

Toilette is not stronger than the Parfum. The purpose of a Parfum is to bring the original formulation, potentially add a few notes (Changing too many notes can of course ruin the Original profile), and offer better sillage and projection.

What would be a better alternative to V Eros, besides Flame ?
Ultramale, Unisex by fragrance one, Armani code Absolu, Prada black. All of these though are not good for summer. They work best in fall/winter including Eros.

To me it smelled like an average old school cologne wear by a masculine man indeed, but a men without much sense of style. Flame was more interesting, and the presentation itself looks amazing.
Would you recommend the Eros Flame coming from Mont Blanc Legend?
They are very different fragrances. Sample flame, see how it works for you. Legend you can wear pretty much anytime any occasion. Flame works best in slightly cooler weather.

Hey John! It might be too sweet for Humid climate. As I would only wear it when it’s cool outside in the fall and winter.
I would look into Montblanc Explorer, Prada Carbon, Rasasi Hawas, Y Live by yves Saint Laurent, Dior Sauvage, light Blue Intense by D&G. Fresher fragrances will suit humid climates better and the ladies love these ones too!

I like and enjoy both, but if you want to save money, you aren’t going to be missing much and saving some money. If they were evenly priced I’d get the edp, but I would get the edt when priced differently

I’d go with the EDP or the original. It’s not overly minty tbh. More of a sweet vanilla mint. If you want more of a mint fragrance check out Wild Mint or polo cologne Intense! Those are mint mint fragrances.
Honestly I love all 3. Ppl might say it’s redundant to own all 3, but I already own the original and Flame. Gonna get EDP. I just love it that much lol. Trust me if u’re young (under 30), any of them can be ur signature scent. Works everytime, great for compliments.

I thought I would instantly love Eros EDP but my first smell I was surprised by the way the geranium and the cedar gave the dirty kind of heady mid note and I didn’t know if I liked it. Though the more I smelled it, the more I liked it and now think it’s lovely. The first time I wore it out a lady at the store stopped me and said “ Oh my God you smell amazing! I just caught a whiff of your cologne and it’s smells so yummy! I’m in love!”

I used EDP and it’s very subtle with a less fresh sent than the EDT, flame on the other hand was rather disappointing as another person in my class had the flame version and we were trying to smell which one was better and flame rly was not for me, tbh it’s whether the scent suits you so don’t buy it basing it on other people’s opinions
literally you have to buy perfumes based on girls ratings and you are saying the biggest bullshit like "dont' buy basing on other ppl opinions". I mean it's ok to not buy a fragrance you totally dislike but you can't buy thinking only about your personal opinion. Perfumes are like clothes; it's ok you wear what you like but if you want to impress people you have to mix your opinion to what other ppl think. If i have to wear something based only from my opinions i would wear pajamas.

It’s a nice cool weather alternative to Eros.
To me, Eros is good, but Flame is the update. And the reactions here are showing that quite well. It has become more masculine than the original by the peppery note, to me. Great nighttime-fragrance. Especially in the warmer half of the year....
Is the flame good for winter ?
@@Viicorico Not really. It has quite a fresh vibe. So I would use it for a night out in the warmer half of the year. But for a winter-evening I would prefer a warm, maybe more barbershopy fragrance like "Le Male" or a more creamy one like "The One" or "Gentlemen Only", or a more sweet- smoky one like "This is Him!" or "Just rock!"

They are all highly rated by the women, and work great. Guys let me safe you all some time if you are looking to buy one of the three. Buy the OG Eros, it's a sweet sexy beast. I haven't smelled the EDP yet but once I heard that the power is toned down and the durability is almost the same, it's a no brainer. I'll admit that Flame is also nice and has its own vibe that I respect, but as a distinct flanker it's a failure. So overall I'd recommend the OG Eros
