I got the EDP months ago on discount having never owned or smelled the EDT, but originally I went in to buy the EDT but EDP was on discount lol. It's a lovely scent, very enjoyable, great for date night or autumn/winter
To be honest, I have been a perfume addicted person, perfume is a subject to me understanding every bit of it. My conclusion about Versace eros edp is like…it’s a perfume which has the audacity to defeat any perfume irrespective of brand, price range, smelling & longevity department. This stays on you for at least 12 hours with no other perfumes brave enough to compete with it when it comes to projection which is well balanced & gives an expensive impression. I am writing this as my own opinion after using more than 100s of different perfumes including the most famous & super hyped international brands. Eros edp is the Mike Tyson of all perfumes if you think all other perfumes are professional boxers. If there is a guy who loves to rule, conquer, dominate & stay humble at the same time unless teased, it’s for him. Hyper beast…the one & only boss of the bad boy genesis.
Curly fragrance is an absolute delight to watch when she speaks about fragrances with extreme enthusiasm & in a fun way. Thanks to your effort for such nice videos on perfumes. You look fabulous…& you spread good vibes🤩
I never bought an expensive fragrance before and I'm thinking about buying one, so what do you suggest. I'm 16 and I don't know if I should get versace eros or 1 million or dior sauvage
@@royroyale539 well these aren’t really considered expensive, but as this is your first fragrance, you want something very versatile. I’d say go with 1 million - if that’s too feminine for you then pick Versace Eros. I would recommended you do not pick Dior savage as your first.

Your the one who got me into fragrances the other month, and I just got my first fragrance and sprayed it 7 times thinking it’d be plenty, but could barely smell it, sprayed it 14 times and instantly got compliments aha

What was your first fragrance?
I’m a EDT guy myself but tbh the EDP is the way to go. Smells exactly the same just more mature and the dry down is smoother I really loved the EDP

I have two bottles of Edt and i tried Edp at the airport and loved the wdp that i bought the edp days later. To me its stronger, more minty toothpasty and a lil more mature than edt. I like it so much more than the edt. Im gnna get rid of my edt, its such and upgrade.

I sampled both and in the end went for edp it was a simple decision, edp is definitely better more smooth, balanced and more versatile and performance is great too.
Last month I actually bought EDT but returned it for the EDP 2 days later and I'm so happy to hear your opinion on the EDP :)
yo man i heard the edt has really bad performance now , is the edp any better?
@@funnycomplications4582 Yeah that was one of the reasons why I switched because of all the reading I had done about the newer EDT batches. EDP unfortunately only lasts just a little longer than the new EDT. Regardless, it smells better and if you do the "curly method" of a lot of sprays you should be fine either way. Go for the EDP.
how can you return fragrance? did you spray any then returned it?

Because I bought Versace Eros EDP and im disappointed, it smells very good but it fades after 2-3 hours even when I spray my whole neck and hair in it. Are there actually good perfoming Fragrances in that price range?

I had a similar experience going from the EDP to the EDT, there was like a random funk that I didn't like. EDP all the way for me, way more classy too

I blind bought the EDP because of your review and reactions when you asked the beautiful ladies and because I love the EDT. So many damn compliments. ONE PROBLEM with the EDP. THE DRY DOWN after 4-5 hours turns into a bad MUSK on the skin!!!! 😢. I’ll just give it away as a gift. The same thing happens with LAYTON- I work with all nurses/ ladies at work. They told me I smell like their grandfathers old musk after shave- by hour 4-5 it was bad!

All 3 (EDT/EDP/Parfum) are similar yet different. I actually have grown to LOVE Eros Flame… way more citrus on the top but has the vanilla Eros dry down.
I started my collection with Eros EDP 😌 no regrets

Your nose is better than mine, I actually could not tell the difference, bought the EDT and I get compliments whenever I wear it. It’s what you expect from Versace. It’s bold and elegant.

as an FYI the EDP versions of Eros (flame and this one) seem to work best... also theirs a versace Eros parfum version out (atleast here in the US) personally the edps work best for me but the edt and parfum have their uses too

I think people focus too much on winter fragrances. sure there is a lot of great ones in that group but they not really suitable for the other parts of the year. for men's fragrances I think about 50% of them are for winter and the other 50% are for summer/autumn/spring.
I used to gloss over fragrances like versace eros thinking that there were way better options out there. but thinking about it now, for a spring/autumn fragrance eros is actually a pretty *solid* pick (right in between la nuit d'lhomme bleu electrique and bleu de chanel edt/edp/parfum). profundo is another great one I have heard you recommend a lot in the past. I always thought "pft, profundo is not as good as profumo. its got worse ratings and is also weaker. why would i ever get that?). but it is for a completely different season! for a summer time scent, performance of profundo is actually really quite good.
now I am lookin at adding some balance to my collection. got so many gaps to fill but with summer just around the corner for me I am really looking forward to adding profundo and light blue forever to my collection :3

Hello Curly jusy wanted to know what molecule 1 is does it have a scent to it and if it does what does it smell like thank you for your response love your videos very helpful.
I wore Eros EDP on my trip to Guatemala in 80° heat low humidity and it worked just fine but I believe anything higher it may be too sweet
This is good to know. I've been wearing EDP in springtime, where the highs have been in the 60s, and I can tell it can go higher. It's so versatile. Versace did a great job on this EDP!

Have you tried the Parfum version??? It's available in my Notino, but it has never been on the shelf as a tester, so I'm curious. Personally EDT and EDP are identical to me. EDP just projects more.

I tried the Eros edt, EDP but still prefer flame over the other two. I have not tried the parfum yet to see if I prefer it over flame.

Bought the EDP version recently and expected a lot more. Didn't blow me away when I smelt it first time at all. Maybe I was expecting too much but it smells quite generic. It's not bad, but based on how people talk about it, it was a surprising let down. I could only bring myself to spray 6 or 7 times today (but I was in pretty close proximity with people all day so didn't want to choke people out)...maybe I need to spray more. Nobody mentioned it and I couldn't really smell it on myself either after the first few minutes. It feels like a lot of other fragrances smell really similar. The last I bought was Tom Ford Extreme and that has a VERY CLEAR unique smell. I can smell that on myself all day with just a few sprays, as can others. Maybe it's just me...but this just didn't live up to it.
I have a 2014 bottle of the edt. DZ1459. 60 percent full. Two sprays will last all day and I'll be surrounded by a pleasant scent within 3-4 feet. I passed on the edp.

Surprised me as it’s fun for any age. A really good scent
EDP is definitely more balanced and more mature. Also the sweetness in the EDP is toned down cuz the vanilla is toned down.
Lower projection but longer lasting projection then the EDT.

@@ohgpsbohgpsb7844 It's not quite as loud as the EDT, but still projects well. Longevity is like 10+ hrs. It's just a better scent. Not as juvenile as the EDT.
Main reason I bought the edp, I enjoy citrus more than vanilla
Try rasasi sotoor waaw Curly, it's you in a bottle:) you don't need to overspray but even if you do it won't offend people (too much)
It's spicey, woody, gourmandish, great quality and has crazy depth, it's at least on par with mancera or montale quality This is one i kinda keep as a secret:) But like i said it's you in a bottle, it fills up a room but does it nicely and non offensive.
It lasts for DAYS on clothing! it's supposed to be unisex but it leans towards a men's fragrance, but you can pull it off.
I just purchased this one today! Not sure why I've waiting so long but none the less I'm sure I'll enjoy it! Great video Michella!
The Eros batch 2012 to 2019 are beast performance but the Parfum version.
