I said this on the other video and I'll say it here too. I love the slower, softer beat they put on this version. This kid absolutely killed the shit out of this performance. There were a couple clunky fills along the way, but to be called up to perform with a globally successful rock band to play one of their biggest hits in front of 20,000 or so people with ZERO warm up isn't exactly the easiest of scenarios to jump into for any musician on ANY level. Nothing but respect.

The song is on 8 bit takt most of time,and sit on Taylor kit of drums and just like that to know how far is Hi-Hat pedal,Bass pedaal-s,chinels,toms and snare drum?Everry drumer has a own setup of drumss so i think he was envited in day before the concert to learn how Taylor is setup DRUMMS if hes not than i apritiate hes knowledge and skils to cach up rithm.After all in Italy 200 drumers are played LEARN TO FLY at same time and thats why FOO FIGHTERS ARE CAME IN EUROPE.Aftter all that is one time in llife experience and i congradulatee him and espetialy tto bend,they are kind to let him dreams comme true :)
People are comparing the kid named Pierce to this guy. No fucking comparison. Pierce is good but this guy is a pro. This guy hit the heads like Bonham and had such a relaxed presence that only comes with years of experience.
Besides loving FF and the "pull fan on stage" thing, I think my favorite part is watching Pat because he smiles during EVERY fan performance, and is so encouraging and happy to see/hear people play with the band. Just very heartwarming.
This is one of the MANY reasons why we love FF!!!! Thank you Harri Koponen for sharing your awesome video. I know how difficult to film and dance at the same time....and NOT sing!
Thanks for your kind comment!, Foo Fighters is one of the few bands that do these kinds of surprises at shows these days! Definitely one of the best live bands! FF played two shows at Pula and we saw them both so I did get my singing and dancing especially on the first night 😁

At 8:20 he loses his right hand stick and it flies behind him. Keyboard-ist sees it and starts to take cover. Almost as impressive as everything leading up to it, he then switched the stick in his left to his right hand for the last couple of notes/hits.
