The filter I bought had a piece of paper that said point the airflow arrow down. I think the flaps point down like it said in the video, but I think that filter was upside down. Normally the flaps only hang about half way. The crease of the flap points up so that you can slide it up into the blower box. Some of the new filters even have foam seals on the flaps to help it seal even better against the box.

I didn't notice any air flow arrow (or up arrow) on the filter element. That's unusual. No?

what is air flow direction??? because I've got filters from another producers and the arrows (as example) are down but the writinng is up
Hi - i dont think in all reality it makes a whole lot of difference but look paper "flaps" these are at the bottom of the filter when you fit it.
