i heard that going too long without showering affects his accuracy, that is, when you enter zoom mode you will get random jittering. making it hard to hit targets, especially at long range.
Whats funny i was playing peace walker yesterday. And i found one guard on mission before pupa fight on the top of fortress left side near boxes and i was curious just interogate him then choke but first thing he said was "I KNOW YOU Brrro.." and i was WTF? is this liquid and after that his next line was "Join me and we can take over the world!" and next was "You dont have much things to left Hehe-Hehe" and one line "Harder..." and its just repets. So i get the first one reference but didnt get second and third.
When interrogating your own men for rough diamonds go to your idroid map and the diamond positions will be check marked on your map. Tag these locations to find them more easily. Also in the map screen you can press Y/triangle to walk around in first person mode with the map out.
The box fast-travel tip; that really helps. I loathed the long rides in the jeep and especially the helicopter just to get around the different platforms. Thanks for the tips.
once you get to mother base operation platform. get off the helipad, move to the stairs to your left and handle your resources on the idroid. a lot of soldiers pass you and staff morale gos up really fast
you may want to drive from time to time if you have casset tapes you have not listened to yet. i don't do it in the helicopter because i would rather be on the field and i don't lisen to them on the field because i want to focus on the task at hand. so i play the casete tapes wile i move throught motherbase so i can focus more on the information and raise morale simultaniusly.
Just FYI, after a while of being in the field, your reflex mode will have a shorter duration, your aim will become less steady over time. Taking a shower helps restore your physical and mental well being.
+Thomas Mcgowan changing the outfit does remove the blood (unless you've built a nuke or earn demon status) but it does not restore the full duration of your reflex mode. So you still need to shower in order for your reflex mode to be most effective.
if you shower then the duration of your reflex mode is increased. however for every in game day you don't it decreases the duration by around 10%. it doesn't go down to nothing since it only decreases for 5 days for a total decrease of 50% (or in other words when you get fly's over your head). however this time is only counted when your in the field so when your chilling at Mother Base or are in the helicopter you don't have to worry about your reflex going to shit. also the diamonds are always there regardless if you interrogate your soldiers and no the diamonds do not respawn. hope this helps :D
Customize them, actually see them deploy on those missions you send them on, bring a few of your S ranks as sub-Buddies in addition to your actual Buddy, have a squad you make up in Staff Management be deployed to act as a support option, in addition to fire support and supply drops and the like. Some more examples, including his, and I agree that he should've listed at least 1 more.

Probably said before, but diamonds respawn after a few (I think 3) campaign missions are completed (replaying an old mission also counts). They don't appear after interrogation, they were already there before. However, interrogating creates a neat marker on your Idroid map. If you put a marker on it, it gives you a hint on the altitude
If you see a lil puppy walk up to you in one of the missions (for got wich one) make sure to take him back to mother base with you because the dog is actually extremely efficient at rating out enemy locations and weapon locations.
you can grab and interrogate your own soldiers and they will tell you the location of the diamonds on the platform they work on. and i'm pretty sure that the diamonds only spawn when you make a new platform, on that new platform.
I found that I interrogated diamond locations on the R&D platform before I ever built it so, it may be possible in early game(small base, big staff) to get the locations but I could have been lucky
I already knew about the diamonds and the staff moral but I didn't know about the posters and emblems around the base and that if you use night vision you can see the targets easily because I am stuck with one of those training shootings challenges or whatever it's called so thanks for the tips.
As you get dirty / bloody / tired from spending time in the field the length of reflex moments, health regeneration total time, and movement speed all go down. Showering heals it back to full. Nonlethal weapons like rubber bullet etc can be used in target practice. Collected posters can be stuck to a cardboard box to act as a crude disguise or decoy trap
Sweet video thanks One thing I have learned is when a soldier asks for training beat them up.Their skills will increase (a tad) as well as their moral.When they don't ask for training I set and throw clips at them by doing that you can pretty much max their moral.From what I have seen on PC the diamonds do respawn because I keep finding them in places I know I have looked before.
On metal gear solid 5 turn on night vison and it will give u a better lay out of the body not to be weird or anything. do it with a laser sight gun you can hit them in the head better now but its better at dark so it shows you a heat lay out too hope that helps you in this game and sorry if it didn't
You're max health actually drops if you stay out in the field for too long or get a lot of damage, and showering puts all stats that may have been lowered will go back to 100%

The physical and mental state are tied to your max health and reflex time respectively. Every time you get a serious injury in the field, you lose ~5% of your max health. I don't recall if serious injuries or taking damage in general affects your mental state - which slowly cuts your reflex time down to eventually none, so there's no slow-mo upon detection anymore. Showering sets your max health and reflex time back to 100%
Don't know if anyone knew this but when you fighting quiet wait till she is up on the platform sniping you and you can go into idroid and cal for a loadout drop and place the marker on top of her and you will win the fight instantly 👍🏻
The diamond's location appears on the map when you interrogate your troops but you can find them without interrogation and I think it's a one time thing once you've found one it's gone

Taking a shower increases your reflex more duration and Fulton extraction success rate. You soldiers fighting has nothing to do with morale, it will only happen if you have a troublemaker inside one of your groups. There are 3 types of troublemaker, which are troublemaker (unsanitary), troublemaker(harrassment) and the troublemaker (violence) that causes fights.
The mental state thing gives you better aiming for half-an-hour or maybe a full hour. By that I mean say if you're sniping, you don't move around so much do you can get more accurate shots
tip, if u press square or x while aiming you change from your primary to secondary or vise versa, Idk if this was obvious and I’m just stupid or if it’s actually helpful

You can milk the rough diamonds by interrogating all your soldiers in an area, then going on the idroid map and placing markers on the rough diamond locations (shown as a checkmark), it is kind of a pain having to climb all over the place to get them, but dont be lazy. Its rewarding... ;-)
Makkas Makkas if ur gmp is red they will fight, also if theres troublemakers in ur unit (their perk) they beat ppl up but if u have a diplomat in the same unit it will nullify that effect, make sure to always sell stuff so ur not in negative gmp

Quick tip. Pressing aim immediately after throwing a punch will disarm enemies. Mother base is a good place to practice this skill.

Equip the nonlethal SMG and AR when doing the you do the target shooting. It is a lot faster than using the tranq gun.

Oh good, I beat the soldiers any time I return to the base, assumed it lowered moral and didn't care because it's so much fun.

As soon as you get the med deck, you will find a door on the top with a blue light. Go through asap, that's all I will say.

Tbh they should let you manually play in deployment missions to increase your success. That would allow the use of Battle gear

When your selecting a team to dispatch on a mission you can customize that team picking the individual soldiers for tougher missions

Theres a cutscene if you get flies and have Quiet at 100, go back to base with her after you have flies and look at the nice view ;)

Nope, they definitely do respawn, both those on Mother Base and in the field.
If they do respawn it's only up to a certian mid game point

The soilders love pain, you can choke any soilder and they will start saying "boss, harder!" And wierd stuff like that
