    Ummm, u need to unscrew the bolt from the end of the bar guard slid it in then put bolt back in and it will lock in

    Wow. How can i yell at my tv louder. Dude the first hand guards would work just fine. You had to just loosen the bolt with the split peice of aluminum it would slip in the end of bars and as you tighten they would get tight. That aluminum is split so it fits.

    That shifter bracket… there is a reason why the OEM is plastic.. you’ve just beefed that up so the next thing that will break is your air box mounts.. air box is $350 vs the OEM mount of $20…

      I had no idea. Are the airbag mounts prone to break?

      @TheSponge945 2 роки тому

      @@MichaelBertini yes sir. Scour some of the forums/fb groups. Some also claim with the beefed up bracket additional strain is now put on the transmission when you shift and when before you feel it didnt want to shift youd rock it, well now you will shift it by force lol without realizing. Advice would be to not install that shift bracket!

      @@TheSponge945 that's good to know and you make a valid point of "forcing" the bike into gear Vs. rocking it around a little. Thanks for the advice! 🤘🏼

      If your normal riding and not thrashing the bike out and manhandling your shifter out of frustration…. The airbox will be fine with this mod.
      The reason why the bracket to airbox mount breaks occasionally is there are entrapped nuts encased into the plastic for the bracket bolts. People over torque them or use impact wrenched to loosen or tighten them and cause failures.
      Thousands of the aluminum brackets have been sold and used by Can Am owners and yet we haven’t seen thousands of airbox failures.
      Hand tighten your bolts and use blue loctite…. Instead of over torquing bolts and all will remain functional

      You are full of false info bud. For one, the plastic bracket breaking is what damages some air boxes, it will crack it. The string aluminum one eliminates that from happening. It doesn't add any extra strain on tranny, it actually keeps the linkage aligned properly causing less stress. Also this has nothing to do with rocking to get the bike to go into gear, the linkage nor this bracket effect that.

      They did but we're still working through the issues and replacing the parts. Hopefully, we'll be back up and running soon.

    “Performance mods” even though not a single part in this vid actually adds power.

    • @MichaelBertini
      @MichaelBertini  Рік тому

      So question 😬 - only things that add power are considered "performance"? ☺

      Performance mods doesn't mean only "power" bud. Anything that makes it better or easier to ride is also a performance upgrade. Educate yourself kid
