I almost never comment about anyone’s appearance, but Jami, I’ve been thinking that you look great. You talked about daily walks with Zeb in the mornings, so maybe that’s what you’ve got going on… Whatever it is, you’re looking gorgeous. I enjoy all your thrifting videos, but I think the Goodwill bins are my favorite. I can’t believe how many beautiful quilts you find, and I’m a fan of old books.
I have been binge watching your channel all day! We live in the Panhandle of Florida and riding the Hurricane out praying for all of us to make it through! For us it’s been rain rain rain but just a few miles east it’s another story! Thanks for entertaining me!❤
I love Trixie Beldon books. I used to get one every year from one of my friends for my birthday. As soon as everyone would leave I’d grab my book and start reading it. I was a real book nerd, still am except now I have trouble seeing even large print books. I was so excited when I’d be given books for a gift. I don’t comment very often but what a great haul in this video. You guys find so much great stuff in your travels to your op shops, thrift stores etc. Thanks for always taking us with you on your shopping trips. I love it. Have a great week guys.
Tricia Belden brings me back to my childhood.i loved those stories. That spoon rack matches one a friend has. Take a look at the Fanny Farmer book for yourself. It is our go to book along with Better Homes & Gardens one. The recipes are easily adapted to deal with dietary restrictions. Fantastic brownie recipes.!
That shelve for a spoon collection. I always thought it would be good for hanging herbs to dry. Tie a string around end with a knot and place in a slot.
Fannie Farmer. That is the cookbook I had for Home Ec in 1971 thru 1974. It was soft cover, I still use it. The pages are awesome brown well aged, unlike me who is not aging so well!!
My Mom used to crochet and starch those doilies and starch them. They were everywhere in our house and it drove me crazy because I was in charge of dusting 😢lol
My very favorite videos are your bins, thrift shopping videos! I love your transformation (painting and all of the great products) videos too, but this is where all the ideas begin! Thank you for these awesome videos! ❤
That appliqué baby quilt is wonderful! And Trixie Belden! One of my favorite series as a child. So glad you picked it up! always enjoy watching you guys get all the great deals. 💕
I read my older (by 3 years) sister's Trixie Belden books, starting summer of Grade 7, so when I was 13ish. I'm 51 now, and still remember how much I loved them!
Love the thumbnail😉🤪 for future reference for the little golden books....The price remained 25 cents from 1942 until 1962. The price changed in 1962 to 29 cents. In 1968 the price changed to 39 cents and in 1974 the price changed to 49 cents the brown quilt is definitely hand made and machine stippled quilted it's a lovely piece. I quilted for the ladies aide for many years so I could tell
I read those Trixie Beldon books. I loved them. I absolutely loved the Laura Ingalls Wilderness series. The Boxcar Children, we have a Goodwill Buy the Pound here in Maine. I love it. I bought an Amish quilt. I still have it. I subscribed to your channel.
I read all the Trixie Belden books I could find when I was very young! Zeb, the pineapple doily would have held a candle or a vase of flowers. Jami, can't believe you left the BHG red and white cookbook!! You found some great stuffed animals :) Your Bins videos are fun!
My grandma gave me my aunt's Trixie Belden books back in the 80s. They were a fun read. Wish i had kept them. My aunt is 70 so those are older books....
I’m 70 and I was always so excited when I got a new Trixie book. She made me want to be a spy when I grew up. Lol. I think the book series also addicted me to reading. Lol I even snuck a flashlight into my room so I could keep reading under the covers past my bedtime.
The bins (outlets) are my favorites. I use to go to one in Connecticut, and I missed out on bringing home a beautiful Brass vintage Floor Lamp. I didn’t think I had the room for it in my car. I did, and when I went back to buy it someone grabbed it.
I thought it was funny that you BOTH reverted to your favorites and then both found stuff. @Zeb Ray, my mom used to buy all of our percale sheets at JC Penney. I loved climbing into those cool soft sheets as a kid.
Love the enamel pot. Watching during the hurricane😊 . I'm a hundred miles away from Jim Cantore, if he showed up you could color Elizabeth GONE..>>>>>>> Ha Ha!!!! But so very true! Can't wait until tomorrow, bye, have a great night! ❤
The vintage crochet lace is worth some money. Just have to cut it from the damaged fabric. It can be reused for many projects. All I can say Zeb about your vest is "yikes."😅
I have several quilts I’ve bought new over the years and they all look vintage. I always get 100% cotton which wears nicely reasonably quick. Don’t pass up the newer, mass produced quilts.
I think sometimes Jami and Zeb sell them as “cutter” quilts for people who repurpose them into clothing, crafts or other projects. Maybe some of them get restored by buyers.
I just put them in the washing machine the way I wash everything else and hang it to dry leather purses. I just take a damp rag with cleaner and wipe out the inside because I don’t want to ruin the leather and we use leather cleaner on the outside.
Ok it’s be awhile since I’ve seen Jamie and Zeb thrift flips..So with that said I can’t help to ask .. It sounds like Jamie I don’t see the Jamie I remember. Jamie what have you did something to your new look. I am wrong in saying this. It s not to be cruel. I think you look amazing just can’t pin what’s different.. Keep thrifting..
Reader's digest has zero retail value. I'm glad people are at least decorating with them before they go to landfill. I used to throw away gaylords full in my past profession.

@@tinalampe3293 I preferred them to Nancy Drew!

Man! Y’all have the best reader’s digest books. Our bins doesn’t have the neat patterns on the covers like yours. Bummer.

When you found the pink pumpkin, I thought I would remind you that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Your Bins videos are fun!
The book was in really bad condition. Lots of scribbles all over it.
You always find such beautiful vintage afghans and linens 👍
Know how much time goes into making the Afghan you save. So nice to see them get a second life ! Really enjoy your channel
The granny square vests are HOT right now, great find!
My grandma gave me my aunt's Trixie Belden books back in the 80s. They were a fun read. Wish i had kept them. My aunt is 70 so those are older books....
Crocheted Lace Tatting can be cut off and reapplied to some other items
Great jacket sweater, Zeb! Did you like switching it up and picking what each other typically do?
I had Trixie Beldon books when I was a kid. I am 74. Lol
I’m 70 and I was always so excited when I got a new Trixie book. She made me want to be a spy when I grew up. Lol. I think the book series also addicted me to reading.

Me too!
Yeah. Love the Fannie farmers. Cookbook. That was a fantastic fine. .. awesome 👍
I had them too!
Me too! I'm almost 65. My sister recently purchased the whole set at an antique store.
I loved reading Trixie Belden books when I was a kid.
Loved Trixie Belden. I have the whole series. I’m 64.
That picture of Zeb in the knit vest was, how shall I say it🤔, intetesting😂😂😂!
Crochet wash clothe for the win, i use them every day!
So happy I watched until the very end to see Zeb in his "sassy" vest !!!
The bins (outlets) are my favorites. I use to go to one in Connecticut, and I missed out on bringing home a beautiful Brass vintage Floor Lamp. I didn’t think I had the room for it in my car. I did, and when I went back to buy it someone grabbed it.

By the way that pumpkin would look great decoupage and with a stem of course.
Stay safe I am in Texas praying for the Gulf Coast and anyone in the path of this storm 🙏
Don’t care for shopping but love to watch you remake items.
The vintage crochet lace is worth some money. Just have to cut it from the damaged fabric. It can be reused for many projects. All I can say Zeb about your vest is "yikes."😅
Might need those napkins :)
Glad to see you guys!
I read the Trixie Belden series when I was a kid. They belonged to my mom, who is now 82
Belly laughed at Zeb’s bouchée boho style . 💪 flex that vest!
Love your adventures!
What a cute ending!!!❤❤
I have several quilts I’ve bought new over the years and they all look vintage. I always get 100% cotton which wears nicely reasonably quick. Don’t pass up the newer, mass produced quilts.
I love the apron
I’m curious about that green and yellow apron if it’s still available and what you’re asking for it to be shipped to Kansas City Missouri area
It will be on the website a week from Saturday. We won’t have pricing on it until the. But probably around $16-$19.
The bear is vintage from the book called corduroy. Where teddy gets lost in the mall
Great haul.
If you find a nice, handmade/ vintage quilt that needs some work, do you leave it or do you get it and repair it?
-Thank you
I think sometimes Jami and Zeb sell them as “cutter” quilts for people who repurpose them into clothing, crafts or other projects. Maybe some of them get restored by buyers.
Another favorite 🎉❤🎉❤
Zeb that is so you!!!🤣🤣🤣
I hope you got that Benjamin Bunny book❤
Jami....hopefully you will answer this question as you have not answered other!! HOW DO YOU CLEAN INSIDE OF PURSES??? TY KINDLY
I just put them in the washing machine the way I wash everything else and hang it to dry leather purses. I just take a damp rag with cleaner and wipe out the inside because I don’t want to ruin the leather and we use leather cleaner on the outside.
Zeb is gonna go into withdrawals! No Books!
Crib size = wall hanging. My aunts made them and hung them up around the house.
OMG! 🤣Watch until the end everyone... the best!
Zeb passed up a lot of good linens.
Hey! I was born in 1958 and am 66 years old not 70! Let's not rush the magic!😊
The circular quilt and woodland animal quilt are both mass produced.
How do you stop the old smell in the older books??
Sunshine. You can also put them in a room by an ozone machine but that’s pretty extreme
Well, it seems you better stick to what you're each best at!
I there was another Biatrix Potter book (lg) that you didn't pick up...surprised.
Zeb, those embroidered napkins color is called taupe
So fun!!
Wood shelf yes
Cody❣️🥰
Zeb doesn't have the patience for the small stuff....
Lol
Put the book in a plastic bag with a bar of soap, close up the bag and leave it alone for a month, works great
LUV LUV KIDS❤❤❤😊
I’m so sad that you had to put that one cute white afghan with the pink edging on it , I thought that one was so pretty
Crochet Zeb
❤❤❤❤❤
I had Trixie Beldon and I am 57
I liked Trixie Belden more than Nanch Drew
🌞🌞🌞
They changed our bins from bins to conveyor belts. I will not be going back sadly!!
How would that even work?!? What a silly idea 😕
So mad you put baby afghan back. Could easily be repaired.
