My favorite was the tree with the little mice climbing the ladder. Also the suitcase was very nice. Thank you for sharing and showing us how to keep things out of the landfill. You are a national treasure.🥰
I love everything Sherri! The Christmas tree with the elves going up the ladder was so clever and is absolutely adorable! I also love the crochet tree but I think I would have wrapped it around twice to totally cover the white poster board. You truly have the most creative mind! :-)
I just adored the frame and pinecone display. Then my heart jumped with joy to see the little suitcase come to life as a beautiful winter wonder land . Xx
I totally agree! (I do like to do DT videos occasionally because everyone can find those items, but using thrifted items is so much more interesting! )
You just never cease to amaze me! But I have to tell you that the little house in the small suitcase is fabulous!!! I love that it had people at the front and back! Everything was wonderful! And the mice climbing up that tree.....what can I say!!!???
These were my favorites...metal lid transformed into an ornament, ring holder changed into a nativity scene, and the suitcase.... I am in awe of you! You're so creative🙂
I do a jig whenever I am alerted of a new CC video and I love these thrift flips segments! Today, my favorites are the mice tree trimmers, the Currier and Ives scene, and Frosty’s wardrobe!!! Thanks for sharing these fabulous flips. You are a Monday morning mainstay at my house ❤
OMG, Sherry, your creations, recycles, and revamps are Always so Impressive!!! You inspire me to use things in a different way. You never fail to make me want to see more of your creations. Thanks for all the time and energy you bring to us and your channel! I'm already looking forward to next week's video. Take care and God bless 😊
Oh, Terri, you are always so kind and supportive. I am so glad you enjoy my videos. Today, I started working on next week’s videos of vintage inspired Christmas decor. Hope you’ll like that one, too!
Beautiful! I love that you rescued those items, especially the lovely suitcase. I surely hope they sort and recycle those "leftovers" before sending them to the landfill. I really despise how much waste this country produces. All of your items had use! Thank you.
You never fail to amaze me!😮 The Christmas tree in the tin with the mice is the cutest thing ever.❤ The Frosty Snowman box is adorable, and I really like the Nativity scene.☃️✝️
I loved the Frosty closet with clothes hanger Sherry. And the mice climbing the tree was adorable too! Then there was the suitcase with the Currier and Ives scene... I guess you could say I loved allot of these projects. 😊
This video is a knock out! 😊Thank you for saving these pieces that would have ended up in a landfill. You have created beautiful Christmas art that brought a lump to my throat. ❤ You are my favorite artist/crafter/designer!
Pretty sure the crochet piece is a baby shawl, looks like there is a little cap that would go over babies head and then wrap around. Maybe for a Christening? For the tree you made out of it, I would have covered the cardboard with some satin or velvet first so as not to show the white board underneath. I feel this would bring it up a notch in ones decor. Perhaps do that to the next one since you have enough left to make another tree.
The long velvet slouchy bows are so in Vogue right now Sherry and you are the first one that I've seen do it many videos go❤ I thought the first project was going to be my favorite and now I couldn't tell you, they're all wonderful🎄
Oh, thank you! My son’s girlfriend showed me a garland made from velvet bows glued together-she thought it was gorgeous. I was like, “I can make you one of those.”😜
I have a suitcase like that I love it. I use it for small candles and glass votives. Some small bags of smell good stuff. Its heavenly when I open it. And it sits on the floor by my closet .❤
Sherry, Sherry, Sherry, You are the most creative UA-cam'r I've ever seen!! Everyone else pales in comparison. I'm not joking. The suitcase tableau was the best, but I loved them all.
I thought Frosty's Closet was so cute! Also, your idea to sprinkle snowflakes from the watering can was perfectly wintery ❤ I always imagine myself in those quaint winter scenes of long ago - I could just move into that little suitcase!!
Ok. The mice hanging Christmas lights on your homemade ladder took the cake on this round. Adorable. But I love to watch these vids so I can watch the gears of mind at work! You are something else. Thank you. ❤❤❤
The ceramic house looks like the one in the print; I am amazed. I can't pick a favorite again; I can only say that I enjoyed every bit of this video. Thanks again. Your Virtual Neighbor, Liz
Again I kept thinking that is the one I like best, the metal topless bin, the frosty dressing box or the Currier and Ives suitcase all vied for top pick! Blessed days!
Loved the mice putting up the Christmas tree lights! And the watering can! I love the bins too! But you didn’t share how much you spent! I often come home with quite a lot for less than five dollars! Thanks for another great video!
Love them all. Suggestion on a future video. The Frame one gave me the idea that you could 30:20 make wreaths, hanging ornament displays, or a floating diorama. Love all the birdie remakes, don't stop bird stuff. I'm a huge fan of anything you reinvent, recycle, or reuse. I look forward to seeing you every week❤😊
Sherry, I love everything you do, as always but the Frosty the Snowman, the suitcase with the house Christmas scene and the little mice climbing up and putting lights in the tree are my favourites. You are so talented and your imagination is just amazing, and so are you. I really love your videos. I miss them when I don’t get notifications. I do go looking for them sometimes when I don’t get notifications though. I try not to miss any but I know that I have. I’ll really have to go back and watch what I’ve missed. TFS and hope you have a blessed week.
The "suitcase" is actually called an overnight vanity/makeup case. I, actually have one similar to yours, but mine is in really good shape, there would have been a mirror inset in the lid. I actually use mine for traveling and 2 times in the hospital this past year. I like what you did with this one.
I love all your projects, especially the train case landscape and storage. I think it's quite amazing that you found such awesome pieces as leftovers. When I've been to the bins, the only things left are broken glass, glitter and old shoes! LOL!
Thank you, Cass! I was really surprised that the suitcase was left. I think most of the people there are resellers, and they are often looking for particular things. Honestly, there was a lot of broken, wrinkled, twisted junk (and random shoes) in those bins. It probably took me 90 minutes to find those few things.
Loved the shirt that you were wearing at the beginning of the video!!! I absolutely adored the snowman truck!!! It was so fun!!!😍😍😍😍🎀🎀😘😘😘🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕❤❤💖💖💖🌹🌹🌹🌹😂😂😂😀😀😀💐💐💐🌈🌈🌈
The reasons why you value that Daily Devotional book is one of the things I love about you.
My favorite was the tree with the little mice climbing the ladder. Also the suitcase was very nice. Thank you for sharing and showing us how to keep things out of the landfill. You are a national treasure.🥰
All fab as expected (no pressure 😊 ), but the mice decorating the tree is genius... I love how you think outside the box !! 🎉
I love everything Sherri! The Christmas tree with the elves going up the ladder was so clever and is absolutely adorable! I also love the crochet tree but I think I would have wrapped it around twice to totally cover the white poster board. You truly have the most creative mind! :-)
LOVE your projects, especially the mice on the ladder putting lights on the tree!!! Adorable! 😍😍😍 LOVE the snowman closet!
Thanks so much! I’m loving little mice (and other animals) in Christmas decor this year.
@@CanterburyCottage You're welcome. I also LOVE the suitcase!
I just adored the frame and pinecone display. Then my heart jumped with joy to see the little suitcase come to life as a beautiful winter wonder land . Xx
The suitcase with the winter scene was beautiful.
Thanks so much, Anna! 😊
Okay lol I just changed my mind my favorite is actually the snowman's wardrobe closet OMG just adorable❤
Oh, thank you! Someone suggested I should have included a basket of spare carrot noses. I wish I had thought of that!
LOVED the mice on the ladder decorating the tree!!! Genius idea❣️
The Currier and Ives scene is stunning! Love it!
Oh, thank you, Joanne! 😊
You never disappoint! They're all beautiful. The charm of the elves climbing the ladder and the snowman in the repurposed jewelry box is adorable!
Oh, thank you, Kimberly! 😊
The tree with the mice and the Currier and Ives suitcase were my favorites. Your imagination is wonderful!💕
Getting ideas from thrifted items is so much more interesting than assembling Dollar Tree items❤
I totally agree! (I do like to do DT videos occasionally because everyone can find those items, but using thrifted items is so much more interesting! )
I ❤d the crown with baby Jesus etc. it brought me to tears. Beautiful! I loved all the others as well!
I loved the all. My favorites were the crown nativity and the Currier and Ives suitcase. Both were so simple and serene. Love your thrift flips! TFS.
Hope you enjoyed your trip, it was so nice meeting you! And once again your creativity shines through. I liked the blue lid makeover.
It was lovely meeting you, too! We had a great time. The weather was perfect for an indoor/outdoor wedding. I just wish we could have stayed longer!
I believe the crocheted piece is a prayer shawl to be worn to ward off the cold when you read your new devotional in the morning!
Oh, Carolyn! I always wondered why they were called “prayer” shawls. I’m always cold, so I wear a big robe!😜
Thank you for giving us extra little tips & tricks when recreating your beautiful decorations. Loved them all.
My favorite is the lid you made into an ornament, and the glitter just topped off the already perfect ornament
Oh, thank you, Pam!
Sherry you are a creative genius!! Period. End of story. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Sherry You're getting me homesick for Christmas!
Wow!! Every one of them was amazing! Love them all!!
Love the ornament, the glitter sealed the deal.
Props to you for tackling those bins. I would have seen that crowd and run the other way. I just can't do the bins. The jumble makes me nervous.😂😜
I felt that those people wanted the “good stuff” more than I did, so I waited until the crowd was done.
@@CanterburyCottage Good strategy. 😁
That was a child’s shawl
Was being the key word here! After cutting it, it will never be a garment again.
It may also be what is called a fishu, an 18th century (style) small shoulder warmer for sitting in bed or modesty cover when at home.
At lease, it made a gorgeous decoration!
@@genevievemurray7743
"18th century" so 1700's.
I don't think it's that old.
@@sarahrenfrow9795
Does it need to remain a garment?
I love everything you do (minus the glitter). 😊
Thanks! Maybe, I’ll use a little less glitter next week. 😜
Wow! I love the frame with pine cones and greenery and the small suitcase winter in the country scene is adorable!
Thanks so much, Katie! 😊
Such fun ideas!! That climbing ladder and the suitcase project are adorable!!

I don't know how you do it dear....you are so wonderful... I love all of these!
Thank you, Lorraine! You are so sweet!
I love the tree with the mice. ❤😊 Very cute. 😊
Thank you! 😊

Great job Sherry! The suitcase DIY is just beautiful!!!
You are absolutly BRILLIANT! Wow, can't believe your creativity! Frosty the Snowman's closet was my favorite!
Thank you so much, Patty Ann!
You never fail to amaze me!😮 The Christmas tree in the tin with the mice is the cutest thing ever.❤ The Frosty Snowman box is adorable, and I really like the Nativity scene.☃️✝️
Thank you so much, Vicki!
Your ideas truly never cease to amaze!
Absolutely love your creativity and attention to detail!
Thank you so much, Julie!
The lid looked familiar to me, so looked it up, it is more than likely from a Nabisco saltine tin. I used to have one. Loved what you did with it.
That's so right. I still have my saltine box with that lid.
Love everything! Digging up my old picture frames! Thank you 😊
I loved the Frosty closet with clothes hanger Sherry. And the mice climbing the tree was adorable too! Then there was the suitcase with the Currier and Ives scene... I guess you could say I loved allot of these projects. 😊
Thank you so much, Sherry!😊
That box for the snowman was adorable! Wish I would have thought of that! Lol.
Nativity in a crown! Perfect!
So creative!!!! Great projects!! Loved the suitcase!!!

Hi Sherry! My favorite was the suitcase with the Currier and Ives scene. I love old suitcases and especially love Currier and Ives. Beautiful!

I love watching your videos. I do not have a creative bone in my body so i shake my head in wonder at what you come up with. Fabulous.
I have a suitcase like that I love it. I use it for small candles and glass votives. Some small bags of smell good stuff. Its heavenly when I open it. And it sits on the floor by my closet .❤
Oh, I love that idea, Deborah! I may have to copy that idea-it’s a great place to store candles!
I loved the leather case and the tree with the mice! As always, great inspiration1

Oh, thank you, Helen! Let’s both move into that suitcase! I do believe we would have been very happy living 100 years ago.
Creative and imaginative as always. I liked the gold deer with the fur collar and the last project with the suitcase.
Thank you, Barbara! 😊
They are all so beautiful!!

Ok. The mice hanging Christmas lights on your homemade ladder took the cake on this round. Adorable. But I love to watch these vids so I can watch the gears of mind at work! You are something else. Thank you. ❤❤❤

Really clever, especially the suitcase scene. I think the metal deer needs a sparkly Christmas brooch to fasten the fur collar.
Thank you, Charlene! A brooch would have been perfect! Wish I had thought of that!
You are so creative!! Thank you for sharing!!
You are so welcome! Thank you!😊
I love the little travel case! I have one similar and I think it would be perfect for my Christmas!
Thank you, Becky! 😊
Above and beyond! 💕
Oh, thank you!
I love what you did with the “crown”❤️👍
Oh, thank you, Vivian! 😊
THE CROCHET IS MAYBE A MANTILLA AND THE FUR A COLLAR
Oh, the crochet is in the shape of a mantilla. Thanks!
