The scene in the ring just pops into my head when I see any fight 🤣 The best fight scene wasnt in a Jet Li or Schwarzenegger film, it was in a Steve Martin flick
Loved this movie as a kid. Used to watch it with my dad alot. Now as a father I use phill hartmans cadence when walking into their room and yelling "WHAT THE HELLS GOING ON HERE?!"
Ironically, at the end of the film Lieutenant Thorn ended up back in Greenland. This time he was caught sabotaging a project, in order to get back at Bilko. This was one of the last, if not THE last, film roles for Phil Hartman, before his tragic death
that Greenland post looks really cold!! So funny when they both fall backwards totally knocked out and all the food and drinks are thrown in to the ring and mayhem breaks out.
Of course I don't say this in job interviews but when they ask me about my leadership style, this is what it actually is and what I'm thinking. I end saying some stupid shit about an old white football coach or something instead.

Steve martin's face when both boxers fall haha
Damn I miss Phil Hartman. Such a talent!

When I saw the boxing feet so close together and no punches thrown, I lost it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
that foot work was something else.lol
Almost 2023 and I'm still laughing just thinking about this movie 🎬.

Major Thorn.
I think "Jingle All the Way" and "Small Soldiers" came after this
He had about 4 more films after this, “Jingle All The Way” was the last one while he was alive, the other three were released posthumously.
2:10 "WHAT DA HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" HAHAHAHAHA!
It's easy to see that Klutz is about as sharp as a bowling ball.
I laughed harder at this than I did anything else in the movie.
This movie makes me feel bad for the other guy cause like, Bilko is the villain in this story
We just saw the MMA version of this fight in Ngannou vs Lewis at UFC 226.
The guy who THREW the punch went down....
He empathizes.
exhaustion.
"You okay? Did it hurt?" Lol
Still a good movie
2:06 lmaoooooo I keep watching it over and over again
Boxing history 😂😂😂
hhahahaha, one of the most funny movie scenes I've seen. "It was a dance recital"!
Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather
Damn, beat me to it
that Greenland post looks really cold!! So funny when they both fall backwards totally knocked out and all the food and drinks are thrown in to the ring and mayhem breaks out.
This must be one of the best secuences in comedy history. ❤️🤣
At 0:43, I hope corporal Klutz had the safety on, on that rifle.
If want to see Bilko in the purest form watch Top Cat
Shaun Bauidh No Bas or the Phil Silvers show?
2:08 TIMBER!
Why would you hire a guy named Klutz to help your scheme ??? 😂😂😂
Cos he'd be stupid enough to take the risk of being caught?
See that’s the thing. Guys like Bilko truly believe in humanity. They never give up.
Mad crush on Pamela Adlon. Looked smoking hot in her Class A's.
That will happen in the MayWeather vs McGregor match!!!
@ 0:30 a supreme effort in the squared circle
Omitted from the movie: both boxers still wanted to get paid.
There's a good episode of porridge which did this story
@ 2:08 TIMBER
@ 2:46 game set and match Bilko
Mayweather-Pacquiao II
I think this is what happened in that Ray Edwards fight
@ 2:46 game set and match Bilko
I was Leo Cletz
Hahahahhaha
Giovanni Georgo brought me here.
Look this movie
What I expect from the Tyson-Roy Jones exhibtion
I never heard of this movie. It must have been a bomb. I was researching Phil Silvers.
Sadly, this was one of the last roles for Phil Hartman, who played Lieutenant Thorn
Yeah it didnt do too well, I still loved it in theaters but I was 8 at the time
Hahahhah
Paul Woodley brought me here
Of course I don't say this in job interviews but when they ask me about my leadership style, this is what it actually is and what I'm thinking. I end saying some stupid shit about an old white football coach or something instead.
2:30
So who else is watching this after Trump offering to buy Greenland?
What an oddly specific reason to look up a scene from a steve martin film.
Who is here after Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul?
I am. This scene is what I first thought of.
