Maybe his tutorials are so good that they travelled back in time and you learned to heelflip, because he would release this video a few days later. Just sayin. 😄
I didnt exoect a reply from you Christian.. you actually inspired me to document my progress through my channel and i did right before i landed my 1st kickflip.. kudos and shoutout from the Philippines.
I've been skating for 10 years and this spring when the snow melted I COULDN'T HEELFLIP ANYMORE!! I literally had no idea what was going wrong I've been skating long enough that I can usually self diagnose any issues, adjusting weight distribution, set-up, truck tightness, changing where/how I flick off and literally nothing made sense. Sometimes I could land them and other times I'd be totally hopeless. TODAY I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! WHEN LEANING BACK YOU MUST STICK YOUR REAR END OUT FURTHER TO GET MORE WEIGHT BEHIND THE BOARD! THIS ALSO HELPS YOU SEE THE BOARD ROTATE UNDER YOU! before I was literally bending straight down to pop and trying to lean my shoulders back which would put my head behind my knees so I could hardly see the board rotate as well and made you land with your weight way to far forward! Even if the board stayed under me and I jumped on it I'd fall forward when I landed. Pretty sure I'd occasionally do this with tre flips too but it wasn't such an issue because 360 flips rotate in front of you so my weight would more or less even out, but it felt like I was rotating them blindly which made it scarier to catch!
Ay bro thank you so much after watching this video I gained a whole bunch of confidence to land a heelflip! I'm gonna try to land my first one today, I'll keep you updated
These vids with the foot placement graphics are killer, I'm still trying to lock the Ollie as I get a nice leveled out one every 4 or 5. I'm old and just started skating again in May. This will help tons! Thanks tons. 😁
I stopped trying to learn how to heelflip cause I just couldn't get the foot motion down but your video got me pumped to go out and give it another go! Thanks bro!
Up out and away, that is really hard for me on flat ground but I have them on a bank to fakie. It has to be in my head. Out standing editing and talk through. My current video is building and doesn't look so good after this 😂😂😂.
broooo always hella great content! the radiating stellar vibes that flow off the vids are legit keep up the good work. Don’t have social media to win shoes/decks but buying you app as we speak! see if the luck mojo to win 🤙🏽 namaste 🙏🏽
I just learned how to skate a week ago I am 40 years. I think I messed up and bought a complete santa Cruz 8.0 red dot at zumeiz, because this board is already trash after two weeks of training and falling of the board. My question is, where do I go online to buy the best complete for 100 bucks bruh?
if you don't have enough pop, put your back foot on the pocket of the board and try to keep both of your foot and you shoulder parallel with the board...( i don't know about how you guys do it but that's how i do it when i first started to practice HeelFlip and it helps...)
idk y but i heelflip with my toes in not off the board and they look better than normal ones, but i should learn with my toes off if i wanna land lazers and varial heels
I can get the board to flip, but I always land in front of it. I always seem to jump forward (in direction of my toes) while flicking. The board stays in its place but I'm moving. Anyone else has this problem and maybe a solution for it?
Man I dont get it. I got all of that down perfect. The footing, the flick, it spins underneath me, but I cant freakin land on it. I did one time, and havent been able to since. That's all i do for at the least an hour everyday after work. Heelflip after heelflip over and over for an hour plus straight til i get tired of doing the same trick but for some reason i dont ever land on it. Ugh it gets so frustrating. It makes me wonder if I'm not doing the out and away method and didnt know it. I always land either front foot or both feet will be on the board but way on the edge so really it's only my heels on the board so that sometimes makes it turn over. Stupid heelflip lol
If I was making this tutorial I would say the exact same things especially the part where you roll your ankle and drag your whole foot up to flick the board
Ay bro I already know how to heelflip I came to this vid to suggest a shoe that I have that I want you to skate there is currently on a discount on ccs for it it’s the Addidas 3MC 💯❤️
"it's a very exciting time for you because you're learning your first few flip tricks" me: can tre flip, hardflip, frontside flip, nollie & switch heel but regular heelflips are the worlds hardest trick
Ryan Lee i learned them a few days before the day and i was really hyped, so I was trying to get one down a 3 stairs. Stuck the first one, and the one after my front foot landed on the edge of the nose and my ankle rolled and it broke the 5th metatarsal on my foot. No skateboarding for 4 months...
once you stop treating heelflip like a weirder kickflip version and skip that mental this trick is hard, you will realize that heelflips are as easy as ollie and even easier than kickflip to do on flat.
Wish you posted this sooner I learned heelflip a couple days ago 😂
literally same
Same
Maybe his tutorials are so good that they travelled back in time and you learned to heelflip, because he would release this video a few days later. Just sayin. 😄
These tutorials are at like level 3000 in terms of production value. Amazing stuff. Even a top down view, DANG. LIKED.
The descriptions of the flicks in these videos are great

I was waiting for this.. i feel like my whole life leads to this moment!
It has. And now it’s part of the moment you land that heelflip.
I didnt exoect a reply from you Christian.. you actually inspired me to document my progress through my channel and i did right before i landed my 1st kickflip.. kudos and shoutout from the Philippines.
