- My grandfather co-wrote the song "Loving You Has Made Me Bananas" in 1968 with Guy Marks but received no credit for doing so. This song is very close to my mom's heart, and when she played it for me I was shocked by how funny it was. So for this Mother's Day, I decided to make a music video out of the song. This video will act as my Grandfather's (Rocky's) redemptive statement.

Father may have had the shipfitter's blues, but he persevered, the ships got fitted, and damn it, we won the War. As for Mothet, she was blue most of the time too, because father worked double and triple shifts, she was no Rosey the Rivettor after all, marriage connection was faint and fleeting- nevertheless, I came along, and two older bros., too. Ole Freddy Trump had the itching for more blues, as did Mary, and today, so far anyway, we live with the consequences, if not the truth. Hope you enjoyed my poetic exercise.

Shift flitter...like when you do shift work and your boss keeps changing it. It's painful to go between day shift and night shift. Maybe?
@@WilhelminaTheWinning the definition of shipfitter in the dictionary is a shipyard worker employed to build and repair ships, usually by fitting the structural pieces together by welding or riveting. Other definition of shipfitter is a person in the navy who does the sheet metal and plumbing work on a ship.Cheers,
