I tried consulting an EENT specialist and she even asked me to undergo an MRI and so I did but found out nothing. The result shows everything is normal. None of the medicines I'd taken had cured my tinnitus. I do sometimes experience having nausea, headache and most especially sensitivity to sound.

I can relate to almost 100% of everything she said. When I exercise the "sensitive" ear feels like when a flight takes off and then a thumping sound starts. It's so sad we don't learn about hyperacusis from our doctors, As she mentioned it can really affect your everyday life.

you should use cotton buds and put them in the ears. Make them not too small and not too big either, they should fit tight and nicely so you can grab them with your nails or fingers by rolling them down towards outside. The cotton actually attenuates a lot sounds that would otherwise be very sharp. I work in a kitchen and there`s no way I could work without.
