- I'll be showing you a series of fails in my next videos. In this series I'll be working on a 20x20 (actually the same 20x20 over and over). My attempt to do a raffle piece for the FAE gala dinner end of May in Asheville was a tough one. I decided to show you the fails because they're awesome up until the end. When I do things that actually de-awesomenize (yes that's a word) the piece. I learned a lot and gathered lots of inspiration and ideas.
⭕️ NOT MUCH LEFT! ⭕️
If you want to paint with me, hurry up! I'd love to see you in person
Get your tickets to the Fluidartexperience in May of 2024 this time in Asheville, NC !!!! Another event is in the planning for fall. I'll keep you posted

📌 THE SPINNER I'm using is my own design and creation. Every single work step is done by my hands and my table saw (operated by me)
I sell these on my homepage and if you want to up your game and create on big canvases, you seriously should check it out!
DISCLAIMER: It's a tool for serious artists, I always recommend getting a small , cheaper spinner to try if spinning is your thing first. After you've tried other versions, I promise you'll appreciate this guy over all of them if you work with big heavy canvasses and you spin all the time, like me.
For medium and smaller Canvasses, check out my new tiny and mighty Bäby spinner!

You know you started a new trend😊 everyone’s in love with your abstract way of painting❤
Hehe, I hope so!
Oh, totally Bible
A fail? No! This one is magnificent! Looks like a big sea monster coming up out of the water, a really fascinating piece to watch coming to life. Love the idea of using mixed media methods too. Love from Ireland ❤
I love this idea. Using different techniques in one painting definitely opens up a great piece. I gotta try it. 😍
This composition is giving organized chaos!! ❤❤❤ LOVE!
Mmmmh organized chaos. Now I’m hungry 🤤
@@WinterStromArt hahahaha
You make that look so easy… But trust me it’s not easy.. You are so talented.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely awesome and beautiful Jessica 😊❤
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you like it
Really enjoy your unconventional approach to your paintings. Great results.
I'm so glad. When I was little I thought unconventional was a bad word. Now I think it's one of the best compliments I can get! Thank you
♥ Extraordinarily beautiful.
Thanks a lot, Priscilla! 🤗
Jeez girl, don’tgo easier on yourself…I think it’s stunning! Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 💙
So true, but I just can't keep a painting that I can't identify with. I don't want to put my signature on a canvas that's not me. Of course there are exceptions for that but if I kept every piece I liked ok I'd have to rent a storage room or house. 😁
@@WinterStromArt No matter what you do, just know that you are amazing my dear. 🦋
J’adore 😘👍💝
Merci, Odile! ❤️
Way, cool I really love it. Love this new style.
Thank you so much, I love exploring new things (in painting at least 😁)
Wow
So nice.
Well done ❤
Thanks so much 🤗
You are so inspiring!
Wow, thank you! 😊
Jessica, liked this painting so much! First time I've seen the 'Wild Atlantic' TLP and it's extra gorgeous. Wanting to combine different techniques together to form new dimensions and especially creating new focal points with textures is what keeps our spirits excited and renewed especially where we get bored with our art at times. Thank God for accidents which give us 🎉 new sparks of insight and energy to push it and see where it takes us. Being an artist these accidents and trying new things becomes our muse and best friend to unfold those hidden as yet unseen creations. (Hopefully the timing is not on a deadline) Ha, ha. Especially when one has 'the eye' to see new things and to play and develop it like you do and then share it with the world is such a gift given. It is such a blast to watch you experiment because you have that gift of play, the ability to stay with and master a technique and the drive & curosity to push forward and create revolutionary ideas/ new techniques. I admire you So much because you have the heart & discipline to do it. And my God you get wild, fascinating art. This was a beautiful piece. Loved the white fan webbing which for me was a lovely focal point to the painting. Hope being back home in Germany totally refreshes your eyes and fills your spirit with sights, smells, feelings and so much color & texture because isn't that what we synthesize and then paint about.❤❤ in ways we don't expect or think about. It just happens and we stand in awe as we gaze upon what has just come through our hands and fingers staring back at us. Blows my mind....Enjoy your vacation.
Thanks so much, Raven, Isn't art wonderful?! You can learn so much about yourself, observe, take in and let it all back out in a filtered way.
@@WinterStromArt Indeed!
Wow! This is gorgeous!
I really liked it up until I added all that black with my stir stick...
Thank you, Judy
I love it Jessica🎉
Thanks, Debbie
Love it! I think it is just gorgeous!
Thank you 😊
Very nice.
Thank you, Carol!
Wow Jessica Love it You have such a creative mind- Love your work!

😂 I see a huge Manta war.., it’s a type of a jellyfish kind of… Really cool they have a huge blue bubble on the top and a bunch of poisonous tentacles
Ooh, love that!
Wow I love it Jessica xx
Yay! Thanks so much, Jeanette. Sorry, it didn't make it in the end
To combine different pouring techniques in one artwork is an absolutely great idea and opens definitely the door to a further art dimension. I like the outcome and looking forward to see more Jessica👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂
Thank you, I will definitely get back to this! Aber erst entspanne ich mich hier im Waldecker Land!
@@WinterStromArt Exceptionally in German. Erhol Dich gut im Waldecker Land und genieße Deine Zeit in good old Germany 😘
Aren’t we all our own worst critics?!?😂 Another beautiful piece that I stayed up into the wee hours to watch you create
Olá Boa tarde menina Arte gosto muito de sua Arte ❤
I like these two techniques combined. You did a great job. This past week for my pouring medium, I mixed 2 pts Liquitex Pouring Medium Gloss to 1 pt minwax polycryptic. I then mixed 2 pts PM with my paint. My paint was 2 pts Floetrol to 1 part paint. The painting completely broke down! Fell apart! I've been studying all sorts of videos on what went wrong but I cannot find anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Yes, that doesn’t sound like it would work. I use the bloom recipe, just don’t do blooms but my own stuff. Check out my how to tutorial here on UA-cam. It’s a few years old but it’s still accurate
Sorry for not agreeing with everybody but I think that this painting was going to be a master piece until there was too much splashing and additional paint that ruined the wonderful art in this painting, Jessica is my favourite artist and I agree with her Love your work
Thanks for your critique. It’s a good feeling knowing someone thinks I was right. 😂
Makes me help trust myself and my decisions
Totally recklessly, cool🫶🏼
Thank you 😊
This piece is beautiful and you are way too hard on yourself.
I think I’m honest to myself. Yes, hard on myself but I have a vision and a certain standard. It helps me working harder and achieve my aims. I appreciate this compliment, Bobbie. Thank you
