Same here! The 2 videos of the bivvy itself and this extension was exactly what I was hoping to find on UA-cam. Very clear reviews and enough to make go and order mine now. Thanks
Thanks Tym! All your videos that I have seen have been really informative. You have a great eye for the details and most important of all: you use the products a lot to really get to know them and then give your review. Even though I am currently much more minimal in my approach than you, it is great to see all the different possibilities like the extension. As an aside, I have the Frontier (smallest in the range) but regularly do 2 and 3 night sessions in just about all weathers. For me it offers a great compromise: just enough space (helped greatly by the flat back and straight sides) AND great weather protection in cold and wet conditions, especially with the Vapour Peak.
Hi,thanks for your comments, I to fish minimal sometimes just depends on lake and amount of nights I do as I fish lots of different lakes also with filming I have to carry extra kit,yea I’m not a big fan of out of the box reviews but each to their own,I like to use kit then say what I think Cheers👍

Hi ive got the XD porch. Yes its good .just wish they made it so you could have mozzy mesh in and sold panels! As if you get heavy rain you can zip up and stay dry fast .ive had mine since fab this year and used loads. And spent 10 nights in it and plenty of 5 nights. Also as i found out with out solid door panel in if you get a strong wind come at you ,as i did and you cant get it zipped in fast the whole thing wants to take off! It happened to me and i just managed to hold it down ,was not fun .. I will be fitting my log burner in this winter and that will be great ! What a great video! And what a huge amount of extra room when using this Frontier extension. Unfortunately though….when I buy this extension I certainly need to upgrade to a much bigger van 😂. Thanks Tym!
I recently bought the Fox XD bivvy with the extension and inner capsule as well take son and grand kids fishing and I end up being the cook and the general place everyone ends up sitting So it the weathers bad I can still use the gas BBQ and cookers not get wet and enough room for everyone to chow down. Even if I go solo its nice to have a place to sit in the shade and also cook (carefully). if the weathers actually good its not needed but not had much of the good weather recently and if it is actually nice sunny weather its nice to be able to sit in the shade and still watch the lake
