Haha great reaction. Well done for paying attention and not falling into the 'Line' trap. 'Iine' means 'so good' like a thumbs up emoji.👍 It was only the second song they released, so 2011 I think (it was their third song but IDZ, which was the second song they performed, was released later) and they were clearly establishing very early on that all the usual rules of what you can do, what genres you can mix into one song and so on were not going to apply to BABYMETAL. So EDM, a bit of hip hop/rap and then that drop into death metal (they did warn you - "Yo yo yo yo. Microphone check, one two one two. Are you ready to mosh? Kitsune da o!")🤘🦊 Quite possibly the best drop into death metal from hip hop ever - and then back to the EDM to finish. As the song title suggests - it is so good.👍 In most live versions, as in this one, they dropped the rap and it became a call and response (they kept it in some live performances of course - "BABYMETAL in da house!") ... but that drop is still there. Growls and screams as always are on the backing track in live shows. In this instance the growling vocals in the death metal part are explaining the hand sign is not the traditional metal devil horns or maloik, it is the kitsune (fox🦊).
Hahaha yes! As the title says, this song is “so good!” 😂. Only minor “let down” is harsh screams are not Su, they’re mimed, and tracked. This song was one of the few that were “aged” out of their rotation. So, the crowd was extra hyped and Su was being extra cute when they brought it back in 2023, after 5-years without it. Also the metal part is a traditional nursery rhyme tune, just metalized like crazy. “What else am I going to hear from Babymetal?!”: Night Night Burn - Salsa/Flamenco BxMxC - Su actually rapping Oh! Majinai - Pirate Metal Shanti Shanti Shanti - Hindi/Indian Metalizm - Dubstep metal? Amore & Akatsuki - “Love Ballad”, Su solos. Rondo of Nightmare - Kami Band goes off. Su does a dark solo. Have fun! 🤘🦊
Great reactions, your smile is very, very nice! The fusion of jpop idol and metal is interesting. ☺️ If BABYMETAL comes near you on their world tour, please go and see them. You will enjoy it.
This song hadn't been performed in many years, but the crowd still knows the lyrics and chant timings. They still often do their other older songs and fans are never disappointed. I'm personaly waiting for the return of "Catch Me If You Can" and "Uki Uki ⭐ Midnight". If you haven't seen them, I'd recommend them next. I also liked that you did an MV and a live version, more of Babymetal is also nice for everybody. Kitsune up 🤟🦊🤟
_Kitsune da O!_ 🦊🤘🔥 Great double reaction to this all time BM classic song, you did the best going for the official MV and later with the live, it hits even harder with the wtf element. Iine! is one of the early songs, 2nd single released, making us clear they don't wanna be pigeonholed. It's a super fun party night song with their besties and you got everything you need on this song, from de "Para Para" style (also DDR is another good reference), eurobeat and MoiMoi chemistry (Moimoi is Yui and Moa together doing their thing), to a hip hop with 90's look and heavy metal with death growls breakdown, is a beautiful crazy dream and is "Iine" = 👍 Note: like i said, this is one of the few songs I always recommend to watch the official MV first coz that brutal breakdown and the look hits harder, Megitsune,.Doki Doki Morning and Karate official MV are another one worth to react the MV for first time watching. Song was part of a single and first collaboration with the band Kiba Of Akiba, they made a cover of one song called "Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai" (the only cover they played several times at live concerts before 2014) and Kiba Of Akiba did Doki Doki Morning, an interesting upbeat tempo version. Except for certain songs like Headbanger!! and IDZ, SuMetal doesn't shout those parts you heard during live performance neither screamo, is always a backing track, same for the growling except for Distortion after 2019, that got collaboration growling of Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy band, also none of the Kami Band do growling or any voices on any song. But the live version certainly is a blast and you'll see some difference on dance choreography, live at Budokan 2014 is another nice choice to enjoy the original trio unlike this one with the new formation and MomoMetal being part of it. Last year they brought back this crazy hit during this live at PIA Arena MM 2023 you just saw and the Asian/Australian Tour after almost 6 years without playing when YuiMetal left the group, we'll see in future shows but like always OTFGK. (Only The Fox God Knows). That ludicrous hip hop breakdown always get everyone lol. If you're looking for more songs with rap style well pretty much SuMetal did that since the very first song Doki Doki Morning and Black Babymetal with their own four songs, especially Onedari Daisakusen and GJ! but you can clearly see SuMetal rapping with the song "BxMxC", there's an official MV but i highly suggest you the live version at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 or Budokan 2021, it's another song part of the setlist in this current Europe & UK Tour. Also "PA PA YA!!" got a rap section but that's a collab song with F.Hero, a Thai rapper, another recommended song oc. See you next time and like SuMetal said in the rap section "Put your kitsune up!" 🦊🤘🔥
This song was one of the highlights of the concerts at the PIA, it has not been performed since Yui left BM in 2017 I liked that you had also reacted to the MV 🦊🤘
The "MM" during the hiphop call and response and show's title "PIA Arena MM" was for MomoMetal. I think most people did not make the connection though until Kobametal mentioned it in a interview afterwards. These two nights really were about making Momoko an official member and making Babymetal a trio again. ❤🤘🦊🤘❤
Thats not true. The arena they performed in is actually called PIA Arena MM, with the MM being an abbreviation of Minatomirai, the part of Yokohama where the arena is located. Su calling out "MM" was her addressing the crowd in the arena. The MM also has nothing to do with the show's title at all, since the official title of the show they performed this at was Babymetal Begins: The Other One - Clear Night. I can't say for definite whether it was planned for Momometal to become a member at this arena due to the name or whether it was just a coincidence because I haven't read any interviews lately, but the MM in the name of the arena is definitely not because of Momometal.
@@ThePsychosocialiteDude... We know the arena is called "Pia Arena - MM" but they literally CONFIRMED in a written interview that the "MM" part wasn't lost on them because "MM - MomoMetal" and they were surprised that fans didn't catch that detail as soon as the concerts were announced. I think it was Moametal the one who explained it, and even the interviewer joked afterwards implying that this kind of symbolism is way too hard to spot and that even he never thought of it. Also, the fact that their next concert is titled "Legend - MM" makes everything a bit more obvious.
@@i.shuuya3231 irrelevant. The original comment literally says "The show's title "PIA Arena MM" was for MomoMetal", which as I explained is completely wrong in 2 ways: the title of the show wasn't what he said it was, and the MM is part of the arena name and nothing to do with Momoko. They may have arranged the concert with that arena, but the MM part of the arena name existed before MomoMetal was even a thing. I am also aware that Legend MM is for Momoko, it's literally been plastered everywhere Babymetal related. But it doesn't change the fact that what I said in my first comment is 100% correct, specially about the MM call and response part during Iine being about Momoko when it was actually just Su addressing the arena (same as she did at the Budokan shows by shouting" Hey Budokan!" or the Legend Metal Galaxy shows where she addressed the crowd with "Hey Makuhari!"
Tears man. im ancient and im brought to tears when i watch their Idol stuff, love how now that they are back to a Trio, they're bringing back some of their classic Idol songs, and they sound even better now that they have matured. Lets hope for a remake of "Over the Future". BABYMETAL FOREVER 🤘🤘🤘 ua-cam.com/video/slF6H24Jib8/v-deo.html then ua-cam.com/video/HSZ029AuaNE/v-deo.html
Seeing is believing! At that time, there was no more kawaii metal band in the world than BabyMetal. You can check the "iine legend 1997" version to see more of their interactions with the audience. Thanks for your great reaction.
This was the first time Iine! was performed since 2017 when Yui left Babymetal. I guess they pulled it out of their back pocket to celebrate Momo officially becoming an official member at the end of the concert the night before! I was so pumped when I saw that this song was on the set list. Watching people react to the abrupt genre changes cracks me up every time. Gotta love Babymetal!
Just wanted to say I'm loving your journey! I'm 47 and had this exact journey early last year. I got into them just in time to be excited and watch in real time (from afar, I didn't get to go) see Momoko become a full member at PIA! My wife and I saw them back to back in Houston and Dallas in August and even though they can't bring the giant stage production, the trade off is you have the possibility of getting very close! In Dallas we were very close to Moa side stage..my wife made me a set of that iridescent shoulder armor they're currently wearing, Moa noticed and laughed and waved. Man the amount of personal crowd interaction they do is just amazing now! They are truly a marvel ..they bring that relentless infectious energy every single song live! Their hard work and positive messaging is inspiring to me, they make me laugh and feel young again. Keep on enjoying!! Yep every song is very different with a surprise around every corner! Edit:I really really love how you go back and watch a second time to break it down even more .. that's something I think reactors should all do. . It's obvious that you're truly curious and into it and not just in it for the clicks. Have a good one!
Thank you so much! I am so jealous and happy for that you got to experience that. I think we both got into them just in the right time. Just me a little late though lol
@Hokkyo11 never too late 😁 hope you can get to see them sometime! They have a bunch of festivals around the world this year, and a couple up and coming giant Japan shows like Legend MM which will celebrate Momoko turning 21! They just did the biggest tour of their history last year including more US dates than ever .. so more than likely we will get a chance to see them again!
@Hokkyo11 worth it I'd believe! Very worth it to pay the extra for first entry and get in line mid morning, getting on the barrier is ideal, though you can get crushed. In Dallas my wife and I got pushed back and couldn't even move it was packed so hard, and for some songs we couldn't even see them but the energy was just insane. And that crowd definitely didn't know all the choreo or crowd moments to act out haha. The only current US date is the Sick New World festival in Vegas on April 27th in a few months. But folks are sure at some point they will do more. Last year they played bigger venues in the US than they ever had too. Must have been exhausting, but man they looked soooooo happy and almost nothing beats seeing all of them laugh and smile up close in person. I know part of it is their stage personas are designed to be super cute and they are all great at acting, but there's no mistaking true happiness and enjoyment on stage! It got emotional haha
I love this OG Babymetal song. To watch this and then a recent one is amazing. It makes me smile and tear up to see them all grown as ALL Babymetal fans have seen these talented girls grow up before our eyes and become World Class Talented Ladies!!!
⚡ 💀 💕 / 👍 They say that two wrongs don't make a right. But that three lefts do. And this song has a lot of sudden left turns. : ) The music video is quite early. BABYMETAL were still the "Heavy Music Club" sub-unit of Sakura Gakuin. They already had 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' ready to go, but they released this song and 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning' first so they wouldn't be boxed into a single style. This is the probably the ultimate, "Do you like music genres? We smooshed them all into this one song for you." 'Iine!' is still my favorite EDM Dance Rave HipHop Kawaii Metal song of all time. : ) They hadn't performed this song since 2017, but they busted it back out for nine shows last year.
Nice man, I wish more people would do MV and then Live. Just a FYI they don't scream or growl, anytime you hear it that's just backtrack. Su does rap though, check out MV and then live of BxMxC, it's iine! iine!
Another great reaction sir! First of all great job being one of the very few reactors not calling it Line, you got me at first with the joke, nice one LOL! This song is actually not one of my favorites, it is a fun song especially live but I prefer their less "pop" songs. When they go from pop, to hip hop, to death metal, back to pop, you can't help but be so confused and in awe, I always laugh and go "what?". I do really like you doing the double reaction with MV then Live "IF" the song has a MV to see. Here are some songs they have a MV for that I'd recommend, then seeing a live version. "For the Fox God" channel has some of the best live videos to react to that I believe don't get blocked for Copyright. -Karate -Headbanger(after seeing regular versions I highly recommend seeing the Moabanger version, separate reaction video) -Doki Doki Morning -BxMxC (BMC) -Distortion -Starlight -Metali Might be a couple more but that is what I remember off top of my head. Just FYI, Karate is what got me started down the BM Foxhole journey and have never looked back! Looking forward to your next BM video! 😁🦊🤘
BABYMETAL's magic makes people smile and cheer up.🦊🌈 They are the one and only very nice HAPPY METAL!😀 And I thank them for that, for being there 10 years ago and still being there today.🥰
You hear the idol music in the song because during this time Babymetal was still a part of idol group Sakura Gakuin. Iine was also first released as a single and part of Sakura Gakuin's 2nd album 2 years before before it was released on Babymetal's debut album (technically Doki Doki Morning, Iine and Headbanger are all originally Sakura Gakuin songs from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd albums respectively). They didn't become an independent act until a few years later.
"Line... Just kidding 😎" How to trigger a thousand kitsunes in one word 😈 I appreciate your contrasting their early vs recent performances. Not many reactors do this and miss out on the how Su's vocals the girls choreography have developed and evolved. Since you already compared Monochrome, I'd recommend reacting to BABYMETAL | Akatsuki (Unfinished ver.) | LIVE at Legend 1997 vs Fox Festival 2017. In the Legend 1997 performance, it's said that 16 year old Su literally had no idea whether that show would be the last ever by Babymetal, and oh boy does she give it everything ❤🦊🤘
My iine list perfomance. 1-Ssa , the longest iine i guess 2-Vega mix , well who doesnt love this 3-Pia , the instrumental is so good & clear And all other iine perfomance xD
Love your reactions! 💖 If you like DDR, you should listen to Da Da Dance next 👀✨️ Or BxMxC if you would like to *really* hear Su rap 😎🎀 Also this might be the first time I comment on a bbymetal reaction woho 🎉
Nice suggestions. Might wanna add which version is best for him to enjoy.🦊👍 - DA DA DANCE live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, official MV is also available but no live sound. - BxMxC live at Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2 or Budokan 2021, again official MV is available but no live sound. Keep commenting and recommending songs to support BM. Fox God bless you.🦊🤘

I like you said "You caught me off guard" when we all knew what was still to come haha. Also, they aren't doing those screams/growls. The closest BM has gotten is recently with Momo's "Are You Ready!?" they do in the live Metali.
The official video turned me off to that song but the PIA vid sold me bigtime. That is such a fun song and so Babymetal. Su's voice has matured so much.
I'll also suggest BxMxC for a double reaction if you want to see some rap. If you want to see Momo getting a bit emotional, the PIA Arena version of The One is a good watch as well, though you may want to double it up with the 2016 tokyo dome show. Your journey through the foxhole has been really fun to watch!
If you are impressed by Su-Metal's rapping here then you should definitely not watch the official BxMxC video and the "Babymetal BxMxC Live in Bruxelles 2020 v2 (Remastered Audio) - Baby Metal" video, nope. (For a bit of change, this is an example of a fancam video from a small venue - but you can find pro shots easily too if you insist.)
ua-cam.com/video/r4Od1P503xg/v-deo.htmlsi=7xY0_yIvTflEtLGq You can tell how people love this song from the link above, even though just a dance cover event. It's fun to watch.🎉
By default they are a live band according to the girlstheir album sounds äre nothing more than notes to their fans. And while the fusion of multiple genred was planned from the beginig, in reality parts of their fusion were only zhe result that they were asked to do certain things but at the same time they had free reign whenever they showed interest. But I think iine is nowadays a part of metalverse, but no longer of BabyMetal. With 27 and 25 it no longer really fits.
Haha great reaction. Well done for paying attention and not falling into the 'Line' trap. 'Iine' means 'so good' like a thumbs up emoji.👍

Quite possibly the best drop into death metal from hip hop ever - and then back to the EDM to finish. As the song title suggests - it is so good.👍
In most live versions, as in this one, they dropped the rap and it became a call and response (they kept it in some live performances of course - "BABYMETAL in da house!") ... but that drop is still there.
Growls and screams as always are on the backing track in live shows.
In this instance the growling vocals in the death metal part are explaining the hand sign is not the traditional metal devil horns or maloik, it is the kitsune (fox🦊).
I had to listen to it again to hear them say that in the Rap. Awesome
Hahaha yes! As the title says, this song is “so good!” 😂.

BxMxC - Su actually rapping
Oh! Majinai - Pirate Metal
Shanti Shanti Shanti - Hindi/Indian
Metalizm - Dubstep metal?
Amore & Akatsuki - “Love Ballad”, Su solos.
Rondo of Nightmare - Kami Band goes off. Su does a dark solo.
Have fun! 🤘🦊
All these genres are crazy lol
Great reactions, your smile is very, very nice!
The fusion of jpop idol and metal is interesting. ☺️ If BABYMETAL comes near you on their world tour, please go and see them. You will enjoy it.

This is the probably the ultimate, "Do you like music genres? We smooshed them all into this one song for you."
'Iine!' is still my favorite EDM Dance Rave HipHop Kawaii Metal song of all time. : )
They hadn't performed this song since 2017, but they busted it back out for nine shows last year.
I saw that everyone was going counter clockwise! lol I need to see more
Great reaction, thanks for doing the MV and Live 🤘🦊🤘
Great reaction, and I love the format you use! This song is crazy, but so good! Expect the unexpected!
Yup, that's the reaction I first had too but it really is "so good" !
-Karate
-Headbanger(after seeing regular versions I highly recommend seeing the Moabanger version, separate reaction video)
-Doki Doki Morning
-BxMxC (BMC)
-Distortion
-Starlight
-Metali
Might be a couple more but that is what I remember off top of my head. Just FYI, Karate is what got me started down the BM Foxhole journey and have never looked back! Looking forward to your next BM video! 😁🦊🤘
Thank you for telling me which has good MVs to watch with. I hope you can relive your Journey through mine!
The stare into the camera during the rap part was awesome.😂😂 Great reaction. ❤🦊🤘
Mind Blown lol
Yes, this song was meant to show Babymetal can do any genre they want...
BABYMETAL's magic makes people smile and cheer up.🦊🌈
They are the one and only very nice HAPPY METAL!😀
And I thank them for that, for being there 10 years ago and still being there today.🥰
Excellent reaction!👍🦊👍♪ Finally you got to meet Yui. Su is currently about 5'2" tall and is a year and a half older than Yui and Moa.
I cant wait to see her more! I feel incomplete without watching her with everyone
Speaking of dance dance revolution, what comes to mind is their song da da dance. The live version does not disappoint 🕺🏻
Great reaction! "Iine" is an immortal classic, and I'm so happy, they brought it back now that they're a trio again 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
I bet they never thought as teens they would still be doing it in their 20's
I cant believe they are 10 year vets in their 20s...
"Line... Just kidding 😎"
How to trigger a thousand kitsunes in one word 😈
I appreciate your contrasting their early vs recent performances.
In the Legend 1997 performance, it's said that 16 year old Su literally had no idea whether that show would be the last ever by Babymetal, and oh boy does she give it everything
❤🦊🤘
Sorry, I had to do it!! lol
My iine list perfomance.
1-Ssa , the longest iine i guess
2-Vega mix , well who doesnt love this
3-Pia , the instrumental is so good & clear
And all other iine perfomance xD
The way we all freaked out when they brought back Iine in 2023 😭😭
Love your reactions! 💖 If you like DDR, you should listen to Da Da Dance next 👀✨️ Or BxMxC if you would like to *really* hear Su rap 😎🎀
Also this might be the first time I comment on a bbymetal reaction woho 🎉
👍👍Well done. We must support those who support this amazing band.🦊 🖖❤
Nice suggestions. Might wanna add which version is best for him to enjoy.🦊👍
- DA DA DANCE live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, official MV is also available but no live sound.
- BxMxC live at Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2 or Budokan 2021, again official MV is available but no live sound.
Keep commenting and recommending songs to support BM. Fox God bless you.🦊🤘
Thank you! I appreciate that!

🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Sentimetal Night
🤘🦊🤘 Welcome back to the Foxhole and good reaction. Geting people off guard is Babymetals brand of doing things ;)
👊🏽⚡️🦊🤘🏾
👍 👍
Excellent reaction. I like how you follow the MV with a LIVE performance. Well done.
😁😎😎🤘🤘🤘
I like you said "You caught me off guard" when we all knew what was still to come haha. Also, they aren't doing those screams/growls. The closest BM has gotten is recently with Momo's "Are You Ready!?" they do in the live Metali.
BMC your next Babymetal video
only Babymetal can blend edm, rap, metal, and techno in one song and make it work. of course them so young and tiny make it even more awesome.
The official video turned me off to that song but the PIA vid sold me bigtime. That is such a fun song and so Babymetal. Su's voice has matured so much.
Su's voice is just amazing every song
I'll also suggest BxMxC for a double reaction if you want to see some rap. If you want to see Momo getting a bit emotional, the PIA Arena version of The One is a good watch as well, though you may want to double it up with the 2016 tokyo dome show. Your journey through the foxhole has been really fun to watch!
Next on my List!

You can tell how people love this song from the link above, even though just a dance cover event.
That was a fun reaction and yes, as you said
Kobametal: what genre should we do next?
Babymetal: Yes!
❤🤘🔥🦊
