It was karaoke night for BabyMetal and Electric Callboy crashed it. The girls were like "Welcome to the party!"

You know, almost all of the trainees that didn't get to debut as a Treasure member, they all debuted in other groups spreaded around. I guess, you don't recognize these trainees from other groups. But the groups, they debuted in are CIX, P1Harmony, J-Pop groups, I forgot some others, but yeah... And some others go into an acting career.

Treasure Box shows us how YG cut out their trainees and all the behind the scenes of their survival shows. Last Evaluation isn't really a survival show, but they showed us the girls' monthly evaluations which those evaluation clips and videos were all filmed before the aired one. Last Evaluation, the company and the producer aka YG, have already chosen the members for Baby Monster. But Treasure Box trainees were not chosen to be picked in one group yet, that's why with Treasure Box, there were multiple teams of trainees, which Treasure Box and their past survival shows are also "Survival Show".

Fukei-san, how many of you are patiently waiting for him to get to RTG? 8-) And the only way to get his proper reaction is for him to go through all of the videos of those first two years of SG. Patiently...waiting....

This is the only time you will hear Mori-sensei address the girls by their first name. This was before he set up the structure of using their last names for all of the subsequent years. It creates a nice separation between teacher and student. It was genius and important to create that distinct separation. As a fukei, we know Mori-sensei cares deeply about the girls and through the years, Moa had given her handme down clothes to his daughter. It's a relationship he has with the girls that will last a life time.

Btw, there's also a lot of pre SG stuff from our queens, several Su performances and Su being in the idol group Karen Girls (as well as Moa and Yui dancing to a Karen Girl song for their application to SG)

Sadly the Class Battle didn't become a yearly thing, in the later years they did something similar for the Sakura Gakuin Fresh summer specials, like the fishing challenge or the water gun battle. If you want to stay in 2010 there is stuff like the Mini Pati Corner, Twinklestars Corner, Scoopers interview with Babymetal and the transfer students short drama. The documentary 2010 to 2011 ~Smile~ is a really good docu about the 2 first years of Sakura Gakuin.

Before the BABYMETAL name were invented they were called the Heavy Music Club in Sakura Gakuin. Which is a pun on Light Music Club, that's what they call it when schoolfriends in the afternoon come together to listen to music and play karaoke. The girls knew nothing about heavy metal, so they thought it was just doing light music club stuff, but heavier, more serious. They did that sometimes, even years later they claimed they would come to play karaoke once in a while, and Su was killing it. They even recorded their first song to a midi track, Koba claiming that the final instrumental track was not ready yet. Then just a day or two before their first public performance they heard the final song and they were very much surprised because of the HEAVY sound. But they went on with it. So the girls playing karaoke and a silly metalcore band breaking the wall and then they playing along with it unlike the corporation heads in their stupid meeting bring up A LOT OF REFERENCES. Among them, that when BABYMETAL came up as an idea the suits refused to finance them, they started with zero budget.

It was probaby the only team battle. But they regularly had a battle of the graduates against the rest at the end of each year. And they had a few summer specials, where they were also divided into 2 teams that had competitions against each other.

This is only the beginning of Sakura Gakuin contents. It got better each year. This videos/contents are actually bonus videos in their DVD album release. So not everything is the same each year. The only one that stuck and became a tradition is the Nendo test. Other 2010 contents are: -Short Drama - Transfer students. (a skit) -Twinklestars (Baton club) corner. (kinda like an interview with the Twinklestars members) -Mini Pati (Cooking club) corner.
