    That truck pretty much defies every other crawler out there. Not only in performance but almost everything crawlers have learned as far as upgrades. This proves that it’s not about expensive parts & tons of power & that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Man what a wake up call. I recently found the cheapest crawler I have outperformed my more expensive ones & in particular the tires & power to weight ratio is what made it outperform them. I lot of eyes will be opened with this video thank you so much.WOW! 🙌

      There was a lot of depth to his setup and driving. Very efficient in processing what was happening. Every question i asked him, he knew the explanation.

    I've been targeting CCW's Reaper chassis for my next build. Their ground clearance is amazing while maintaining low center of gravity.

    I've been fighting with those same shocks for a year using the springs that came with them. They have always leaked so I never thought to try any other fluid than I have. Awesome build, always cool when the new generation gets it.....

    Awesome video, and even better build. That rig was crazy. I have just started building my class 1 and 2 trucks for next year. Luckily I live 30 minutes from supershaftys new store called key city hobbies. It's so nice not having to wait for parts .

      I was really surprised by some budget choices.. He says the Jconcepts Rupture tires are old but so dialed. He says the 1.9s are so hard to find that folks sell them for 3-4x retail price.

    Hey RC Review, I love your videos, watch them all the time. I live in Modesto, part of the Knights Ferry Crawlers. You should come check out Knights ferry some time. It’s a massive, massive place! Those Jconcept ruptures, are no joke!!!. I have the 1.9” on my TRX4 sport, and the 2.2” on my bomber. Using the crawler innovations dual stage though…comp cut inners. Try them out some time, you will not be disappointed.

      @@RCReviewChannel About 2 hours to Modesto, maybe another 30 minutes or so to Oakdale, and Knights ferry is just up the hill about 20 minutes. I think all 3 of you guys are awesome. I think you might have met UA-camr “Sean P Rc” recently, he was at your spot checking out the SCX6. Please let someone know your coming, maybe Sean p. Cencal hobbies in Modesto is awesome too. Unfortunately, I am not on any Facebook, and I will kick myself in the ass if I miss you guys. Knights Ferry is huge! They usually set up gates on the south side of the river, east of the historic covered bridge. That area is best, but honestly, there is sooo much knarly lines everywhere, you could be there for days.

    This makes me want to go back to my 6” of articulation. That was some crazy lines the first one I could possibly do but after that I only have 3” up front and 4” in the rear so I know I’m tipping over.

      Yeah, that was something unique I saw. Places were most would tip over (since they limit travel so much) he had no problem.

      @@RCReviewChannel it was amazing. I’m definitely rethinking my mindset on articulation worst case it don’t work and I go back to my original setup. I would like to see this rig in person I know the camera doesn’t help to actually show the angles.

    Im brand new and I've figured out the weight up front is so key.
    Go past 60/40 way past.
    That weight up front is like glue.

    put a locker in the rear and you will be able to take sharper turns with the diff open then lock as needed

    I noticed he is not running any (or verry little) springs on his shocks, I wonder how this type of build competes in an actual comp. my crawler benefits from no springs in a lot of situations but also causes issues in others. I wonder if this type of build is suitable for actual competition.

    Those Ruptures are 4.75 not 4.19.
    The Pro-Line Foams are made for 4.75.

      Lol…4.92” to be exact, and there is another set of 1.9” ruptures…I think they call them “scale country” or something like that, but they are much smaller. You’ve got the right ones, in my opinion. The ruptures are awesome! Maybe a little too tall, but I also got the the Jconcept landlines I’m going to try next

      This type of motor called a Brushless Outrunner is very light and high torque. But many of them has this shrieking noise when starting up.

    Brass will kill your ride when you go up real climbs. Little brass in front. Hardly non in back. Go up slick steep crock with that heavy rig you won't go anywhere
