Anyway where my birth was I would sit with my morning coffee and watch the antics at the launching ramp in South San Francisco .. all the memories are hilarious.. This was the era in my life of around 1976 and I'm here to say launching ramp adventures have never changed. I’m just a freshwater guy up in Ohio/Kentucky, but the things I’ve seen on the ramps are the same lol I just run a 14’ hillbilly v-Hull with a 9.8 on it. I can pick it up and put it on the trailer if need be

There is a free boat ramp on US1 right before big pine key. I would anchor my boat the night before off to the side so I could enjoy the insanity of lobster mini season boat launching.
Always do your maintenance AT HOME prior to going to the boat ramp.. a couple times I've had my impeller go out at home, while I had the fake-a-lake hooked up... simple thing to do to save you a headache at the ramp...
Most of these people drop their trailer way to deep. The motor thing could happen to anyone, but the guy didn't have to be such an ass. Instant Karma I suppose as he should have been worried about the task at hand and not some guy filming the boat launch calamities.
I'll never understand the lack of life jackets on all the kids I see in so many of the boatramp videos. My kids can swim like fish, but they're always in a jacket on a boat. And we're on an inland lake
Adults should be wearing them just the same. 240lb guy falls over unconscious you gonna be able to rescue him and lift that dead weight into the boat? I doubt it.

When I boated and kids were on board, my life jacket was always on, even if I was not the captain. It both set an example and it's always a good idea in case of an emergency.

That is the same type of guy that cuts you off and then flicks you off as if it was all your fault. Guy is just butthurt he forgot how to finish trailering his boat completely which includes raising the engine before moving and strapping the boat down before the final drive home.
Grind down the skeg on the new Yamaha he’s got his credit card to fix that with some touch up paint! Most of these people could avoid the hassle with having a person at the helm when launching pull the boat away from the dock and drive up when their ready to pickup I used to drive right around people and never use the dock except to pickup!
The boat launch can be the best show in time. Idiots with no launch experience, no butt plug, back up with the dock on their right, it was running last fall, not latching hitch before they left the house, my favorite is when they yell at their wife because they lack basic boating skills,, and on and on.

Your channel is hilarious. These people don’t even have to deal with 30 + mph winds while loading!!! Hahaha. They would be so srewwweedddd!! I have boat guides on all 3 of my boat trailers and each trailer is dialed in such that I know just where to stop as far as depth of water over the trailer. I drive the boat right on stopping at, or very near, being fully on the trailer. Just enough friction to keep the boat in place for me to catch the winch & safety chain. Couple cranks on the winch, shut down the boat, raise the motor and I’m out of the water and securing my boat away from the ramp. Offloading goes just as slick! If I have people with me (and I fully trust the driver) I have someone at the winch to hook it up and pull me out while I’m still on the boat! It should be just that quick! People seem to find a way to take something so simple and complicate the heck out of it! Haha. I have showed up at the dock before and been told it’s impossible to launch a 20 foot Pontoon boat by yourself. I laugh and tell them to watch me. It’s so easy! Just takes a little common sense which is definitely lacking these days. Ohhh well. If everyone did it correctly, you wouldn’t be able to provide such entertaining videos.
