Going All Out in my quest to land a Backflip, and push myself to do every air as big as I could! Huge thank you to The Spot açaí shop for inviting me along to make this possible! If in the OBX, check them out - bit.ly/3IHVOQs
Sick! Great summer to do the pool! Good call goin this time of year & this year in particular it's been a slow start for us on the East Coast, sick airs!
Your airs wtf just how do you get so much projection? Could you make a video about that maybe. I was there 3 weeks ago and could not land any airs the air wave was tricky glad to see a pro show how its done
Thanks for showing all the non make airs🙏 that's inspiring, because when I try an air I don't land too many so I don't try. Now I've started trying more airs lately don't care if I stick it or not. I guess it helps living in a place with good waves and no crowds now. I used to not want to waste a wave on a non make. Awesome video and some great airs, Cheers 🍻
I liked the Driver 2.0 better for the air section than the Sun Driver 2.0. But majority of people like the sub driver better. The sub driver went better on the rippable trestles like waves.
I thought it was finally going to happen with the back flip!! So close.. I agree with you when it finally happens it should be at the obx.. just curious how deep the wave pools are? Looks like it's not very deep and with some of the airs you were getting the Wipeouts could be a little harry.
How long does it take that glue to dry between your feet and the board? Also, where can I buy that stuff? How do you remove the glue when you are done surfing? Does it hurt? Do you lose any skin when the glue comes off? Please let us know...

Ya, more than half of surfing is wipeouts. I like to show the whole process :)
@@brettbarley love your style mate yeww 🙌🤙
Great video and thanks for sharing! How did you like Driver 2.0 vs Sub-Driver 2.0 in the pool and in general if compare this two boards? Thanks!
So sick!!
Epic video
Way to represent the outer Banks, as always.
Epic! So close on the back flip. Which style board worked best in the air section? Going in a week just for the air section.

I thought you were joking but it appears you aren't. There is no glue, just surfboard wax, a lot of trial and error, and skill.
C'mon a big surf star like you is traveling coach? The key to air makes is sitting in first class. Love your stuff Brett.
Every once in a blue moon I get free upgrade to first class on a 1hr flight haha.
Rad!
Kelly Slater Pro Surfer PS2 stuff!
Brett, do you have big feet?
Size 9.5 shoe. So… no. Why?
@@brettbarley - you stick those airs!
